A hearty welcome indeed to all old and new readers of the Radical Press!

It’s been a long time acomin’ ma but we’re finally back up and running.

For readers who aren’t familiar with the Radical Press I’ll give a short run-down on its history.

The original hardcopy production of the Radical Press was a monthly tabloid of 24 pages called “The Radical” which hit the streets of Canada in June of 1998. Focused mainly throughout British Columbia, Canada it eventually spread to bookstores across the country and via reader subscription to subscribers in both Canada and the U.S.A. The alternative newspaper continued to be printed for 42 editions with the final one coming out in June of 2002.

For a variety of reasons (the main one being that I am still living in an area of B.C. where I can only get dial-up service to the net!) the online website was unable to be maintained and with the exception of the Radical Press Forum, it was sporadic at best and eventually ceased to be accessible to the cyber community.

Fortunately, with the newer technologies such as WordPress, I am now able again to work from my home-based center and offer readers stories, articles, views and news of the world that won’t be found in the controlled, mainstream media.

I would invite readers to access the Radical Forum as an invaluable research tool. Essential materials have been posted on the forum for the past 5 years, along with the article commentaries from readers, making it a great historical fount of open information.

It’s hoped that readers will add their views to this new version of the Radical Press and also share information that others can use to understand how the inner mechanisms making this planet meaningful and joyful can be attained.

Our motto from the beginning has been “Digging to the root of the issues”. That will continue to be our aim and purpose.

Please remember that the forum is still very much alive and kicking, so feel free to visit and post your thoughts there as well.

One final note. It will be necessary to log on to the site in order to post articles or comments. Please take the short time necessary to do that.
