Saddam Hussein Murdered by Zionist Jew-controlled U.S. Puppet Regime: SADDAM MADE IRAQ WORTH FIGHTING FOR

[Editor's Note: While the world of Jewish/Zionist-created global media revel and celebrate and gloat and blatantly lie to the world about the justice of murdering former Iraqi President Saddam Hussein in truth they are the “Butchers”, not only of Baghdad but of Palestine, Lebanon and the rest of the Middle East. It is this twisted group of power-crazed killers who have instigated and orchestrated every major war and revolution since the turn of the 20th Century and before then.

Until the world comes to the realization that the Jewish/Zionist cartel of international bankers, their media monopoly, their Corporate killing psychopaths and their myriad sub-species of Zionist Troglodyte Terrorists such as AIPAC, the Jewish Congresses, B’nai Brith, the Anti-Defamation League and all the assorted shitheads who lobby and lean heavy and poison and murder and torture and deceive and do every despicable, depraved act they can conceive of in order to destroy Western civilization is the greatest threat to world peace and social justice we will continue to bear witness to these heinous acts of madness and murder that the Jewish/Zionist agenda guarantees to perpetrate upon all the masses of unwary and innocent individuals in the world.

There is but one aim and purpose in fighting these bloodthirsty, power-crazed bastards and that is to destroy their image as the victim and the underdog and to expose their ugly and lying agenda for all to see. Human dignity and the desire for peace and truth and understanding just took another serious blow with this Jewish/Zionist blood sacrifice to Yahweh.

Rise up people! Vive Saddam! Vive Che! Vive Truth and Liberty!]

SADDAM MADE IRAQ WORTH FIGHTING FOR
Malcom Lagauche

For the past hour, I have been fidgeting and going from website-to-website to see when the inevitable words would appear on the screen. About five minutes ago, they did. Aljazeera News had a moving banner at the top of its site that read: Unconfirmed reports say that Saddam Hussein has been hanged in Baghdad.

At least the anxiety of those who admired Saddam is over. Soon, headlines will herald the violence that emanates from his hanging.

Vilified by western analysts, politicians, and journalists for years, it is nothing short of miraculous that Saddam lasted as long as he did. Many of the left are just as responsible for his demise as are the neocons they lambaste. Scribe-after-scribe has demeaned Saddam Hussein since 1990, most of the time relaying lies and myths about the man and his Ba’ath Party. No lie was too big if it was sensational enough to acquire headlines. I won’t go into them now because, in the past three years, I have chronicled all the nonsense that authors on the left have levied against Saddam. Their writing made in unnecessary for the right to denigrate Saddam because they outdid the preposterous stories that had preceded their articles.

Many people should be held as murderers for the president’s hanging. Not just the hangman, but everyone who fueled the fire of hatred against him, including members of the “progressive” press who helped pass on the lies.

It is preposterous to see how the eventual hanging of Saddam unfolded. [Read more...]

RCMP Raids on B.C. Legislature Offices (Dec. 28, 2003). Hearings. Delays. Obstruction in the Basi, Basi, Virk case. Journalistic cover-up. The collapse of responsible journalism in Canada.

by Robin Mathews
rmathews@sfu.ca

Gary Mason, special B.C. columnist for the Globe and Mail, has written one of the silliest and – at the same time – one of the most disturbing columns a Canadian might imagine. It was published to mark the third anniversary of the December 28, 2003 “raids” by RCMP on B.C. Legislature offices. It is based upon a face to face interview with the three men, David Basi, Aneal Basi, and Bob Virk, charged, variously, with a total of 14 criminal offenses, largely related to the dirty sale of B.C. Rail by the Gordon Campbell government.

The three men and the charges against them are, you might say, the tip of the huge iceberg of suggestions, allegations, and factual revelations of corruption in the Gordon Campbell government.

The silly report by Gary Mason might be acceptable if the Globe and Mail was doing anything like reasonable coverage of the thickening corruption in B.C. government. It is not. Mason is what I call “Gordon Campbell’s personal representative at the Globe and Mail”. He manages to make the Campbell government look good in everything he writes. Or he manages to leave it out of stories in which it should figure importantly – like this one. Recently he wrote a front page story on the complexity of Gordon Campbell’s policies, never once referring to (a) the unflagging policy of destroying medicare in B.C., (b) the policy of removal of safety legislation all over the province (c) the policy of privatisation and sell-out of B.C.-owned wealth-assuring operations to large private (often foreign) corporations (d) the policy to downgrade and destroy protection of all kinds for all vulnerable people in the province (e) the policy to destroy the ownership of B.C. rivers by British Columbians and to hand ownership (in fact) to large corporate foreign control and ownership. What then did Gary Mason write? Fluff.

He is not alone. [Read more...]

Human Rights for Native Band Members? Preposterous!

[Editor's Note: Included in this email, along with the commentary by Helen Michell of Maxan Lake, are two mainstream articles on the above topic as well sent by Janine Bandcroft of href="http://relativenewz.ca">http://relativenewz.ca out of Victoria, B.C.

The topic, of course, is highly volatile and will certainly have many repercussions throughout the reserves. Nepotism has been rampant since the inception of the Band Council system by the Federal government decades ago and it remains so as one can see in the veiled comments by both Phil Fontaine, National Chief of the Assembly of First Nations, (AFN) and also the Native Women's Association of Canada, two major First Nations organizations that have thrived and benefited from this unfair practice.

As for whether or not the government representative in this process, Wendy Grant-John, will be successful is another question. When she makes public statements to the effect that she and her husband, Ed John, (grand chief of the First Nations Summit of B.C. who does work for the AFN) “never talk about business issues at home” I automatically become suspicious of such rhetoric.

Apart from all this is the dynamic of Canada’s Human Rights Commission itself, another organization often prone to pressures from lobbyists with vested interests. All in all a very curious and condensed can of worms.

Please read and forward to your lists if possible.

Kind regards and best wishes for the New Year.]
——————-

Helen Michell, Clan Mother of the Bear Clan of Maxan Lake (located in north central B.C.) writes:

This is very good news for some, but for many of us indigenous people who were evicted off many of the reservations of British Columbia, Canada, only to make way for this illegal treaty process to continue, this information does little to help us.

We are the REAL Bear Clan families of the original Maxan Lake Band, which was amalgamated with the Wetsuweten First Nations, without our consent. Our voices have been muffled for the past thirty or so years. Many of the indigenous women were also evicted off this same reserve, by the present chief and councilors, and these evictions were enforced by the Royal Canadian Mounted Police. This in itself, is a violation of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights and Indigenous women’s rights. How can we correct this situation?

Many of the members of the Bear Clan families of Maxan Lake Band have passed away as a result of the inaction of the Department of Indian Affairs in the past thirty years. We have not seen one single penny, of this’ Billions of dollars’. We have also been denied access to see the audits of the Wetsuweten First Nations, since this band was first begun. Band audits should be freely given to all band members.

I accessed the audits of this band off of the Department of Indian Affairs website. Too my surprise there was so much money already gone into this band. This year alone, the Wetsuweten First Nations received a total of $909,907.00 of Federal Funding. Elementary/Secondary recieived $3,740: Post-Secondary; $88,816: Economic Development; $11,214: Indian Government Support;$135,938: Community Infrastructure; $290,650: Social Assistance; $195,443: Social Support Service; $33,187: Aboriginal Headstart on reserve;$61,635: Non-profit on Reserve Housing; $80,790: RRAP Homeowner and Disabled Programs; $5,338:

For such a small band, they sure spent a lot of money. Nepotism, (the same family running the business of the band), has occurred for the past three generations. Discrimination and Racism toward us, as the real Bear Clan families of Maxan Lake, has gone on throughout these three generations. They write cheques out to each other without thinking, and without regret. [Read more...]

Can a christian be an anarchist?

The following selection has been taken out of a chapter from Ammon Hennacy’s Autobiography of a Catholic Anarchist.

“I had not met Dorothy Day since September 1941 in Milwaukee. I had written letters to her and the Catholic Worker. She had come to Albuquerque a few months after I left for Phoenix in 1947. Now I was overjoyed to get a card from her saying that she would be here Dec. 29th….

The leading anarchist of this country happened to be in Phoenix just then, so I asked him if he and his atheistic Italian anarchist friends would like to meet Dorothy. Accordingly we met one evening in an anarchist home. The atheistic anarchists led off by saying that anarchism as defined by Bakunin negates all authority: that of the state and that of God. Therefore for Christians and especially Catholic anarchists to use the name anarchism is unethical. Furthermore it hurts the feelings of Italian anarchists who have felt the lash of the Catholic hierarchy.

Dorothy listened carefully to this reiterated statement and replied that this argument had not been brought to her attention before and deserved careful consideration. [Read more...]

Tehran Conference
A Speech of professor Robert Faurisson in the Tehran holocaust conference december 11, 2006

Born in 1929 of a French father and a Scottish mother, Robert Faurisson taught classical letters (French, Latin, Greek) before specialising first in the analysis of modern and contemporary French literary texts and, finally, in the appraisal of texts and documents (literature, history, media). He was professor at the Sorbonne and the University of Lyon. Because of his historical revisionist stands, he was effectively forbidden from teaching. He has incurred many convictions in the law courts and has suffered ten physical assaults. In France, access to the press, radio and television is barred to him, as it is to all revisionists. Amongst his works: Écrits révisionnistes (1974-1998), in four volumes (2nd edition, LV-2027 p.).

The Victories of Revisionism
By:
Le professeur Robert FAURISSON
11 décembre 2006

To President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad

To our prisoners of conscience Ernst Zündel, Germar Rudolf, Horst Mahler

To Arthur Butz, Fred Leuchter, Barbara Kulaszka, Ahmed Rami, Gerd Honsik, Heinz Koppe

Abstract

At the Nuremberg trial (1945-1946), a tribunal of the victors accused a defeated Germany notably

1) of having ordered and planned the physical extermination of the Jews of Europe;

2) of having, to that end, designed and used certain weapons of mass destruction, in particular those that it called “gas chambers”;

3) of having, essentially with those weapons but also through other means, caused the death of six million Jews.

In support of that threefold accusation, regularly taken up over the past sixty years by all the main communications media in the West, no proof capable of standing up to examination has been produced. Professor Robert Faurisson concluded in 1980:

“The alleged Hitlerite gas chambers and the alleged genocide of the Jews form one and the same historical lie, which has permitted a gigantic political and financial swindle whose main beneficiaries are the state of Israel and international Zionism and whose main victims are the German people – but not their leaders – and the Palestinian people in their entirety.”

In 2006 he maintains that conclusion in full. In nearly sixty years, the revisionists, beginning with the Frenchmen Maurice Bardèche and Paul Rassinier, have accumulated, from the historical and scientific point of view, an impressive series of victories over their opponents. Twenty examples of such victories, running from 1951 to today, are given here.

Revisionism is not an ideology but a method inspired by the search for exactitude in matters of history. Circumstances have seen to it that revisionism is also the great intellectual adventure of the present time.

Hanging Saddam

America has become a moral swamp, its leaders incapable of wisdom or mercy. Hanging Saddam only adds to our mutual disgrace and exposes the real face of American justice.

Hanging Saddam
By Mike Whitney

“There’s no way to describe the loss we’ve experienced with this war and occupation. There is no compensation for the dense, black cloud of fear that hangs over the head of every Iraqi. Fear of the Americans in their tanks, fear of the police patrols in the black bandanas, fear of the Iraqi soldiers wearing their black masks at the checkpoints.” Riverbend; blogs from Baghdad

12/29/06 “Information Clearing House” — – The execution of Saddam Hussein is another grim chapter in the catalogue of war crimes perpetrated against the Iraqi people. It is a gratuitous act of barbarism devoid of justice.

What right does Bush have to kill Saddam? What right does the author of Abu Ghraib, Falluja, Haditha and countless other atrocities have to pass judgment on the former leader of a nation which posed no threat to the United States?

Let’s be clear, the lowliest, most ruthless Iraqi has more right to rule Iraq than the most upright American. That’s what’s meant by “self determination”. When we honor “self rule” we avoid bloody interventions like the invasion of Iraq.

That’s What I Want for Christmas

Dear Radical Reader.

Back in 1992, while teaching a grade of 2/3 Nuxalk native students in Bella Coola, B. C. I was faced, as all teachers are, with preparing for the school Christmas concert. In response I wrote the following song which my class performed to the great delight of the community. I would like to share it with you as my contribution to the Holy Season and, while doing so, to thank each and every one of you for your ongoing love and support over the past year.

Best wishes for today, tomorrow and into the New Year of 2007!

That’s What I Want for Christmas

I don’t want bags of gold
Or things that can be bought and sold
Just give me friends that I can hold
That’s what I want for Christmas.

Keep the people strong and free
Loving, caring and healthy
Guide them to prosperity
That’s what I want for Christmas.

Help our Mother Earth to heal
Give the hungry kids a meal
Let ‘Peace on Earth’ become real
That’s what I want for Christmas.

Help the Elders to be wise
And see the Truth behind the lies
To wipe the tears from our eyes
That’s what I want for Christmas.

Keep the Circle pure and strong
Let the Spirit guide your song
Sing it loud and sing it long
That’s what I want for Christmas.

Let the Light within you shine
Bringing joy to all Mankind
That’s the gift we all must find
That’s what I want for Christmas.

So when you wake up Christmas day
Count your blessings, smile and pray
That peace and love are here to stay
That’s what I want for Christmas.

Nova Scotia university meets with prof who attended Holocaust denial conference

December 22, 2006 – 15:53 , 570 News

ANTIGONISH, N.S. (CP) - A Nova Scotia university upset that a professor went to an Iranian conference that raised doubts about the Holocaust has met with the teacher, but hasn’t decided if he will be punished.

Sean Riley, president of St. Francis Xavier University in Antigonish, says a decision about what, if anything, should happen to Shiraz Dossa won’t be made until the new year.

Dossa, a political science professor at the university, attended the conference earlier this month and discussed how the Holocaust plays into the so-called war on terror.

The professor, who met with the university’s vice-president of academics today, has insisted he is not a Holocaust denier and describes people who deny the genocide as lunatics.

Still, Riley says the university does not want to be associated with such an event in any way, and suggests the professor should have better researched the purpose of the conference.

Riley says the university isn’t challenging the academic freedom of its faculty, but says the school must take a stand against a conference that espouses a “repugnant” view.

Dossa, who did not answer his home phone or return e-mails requesting an interview, has avoided any public appearances since returning from Iran.

Some media organizations have had reporters camping out in front of Dossa’s house this week. He apparently told a TV reporter he wouldn’t be talking about the matter until the new year.

What an Experience!

The ‘Holocaust’ has no reality in space and time, only in Memory

Fredrick Töben, Tehran, 22 December 2006

Figuratively speaking, the Tehran Holocaust conference has been something out of this world for me. Let me say why.

The fact it was planned at all is itself worthy of celebration. Opposition came from without and from within Iran, but the IPIS personnel overcame all the hurdles thrown their way and went ahead in staging an event that could justifiably be called a world event.

The actual conference was conducted with the legendary Iranian hospitality of warmth, sensitivity and inclusiveness that characterises Iranian culture and democracy. Let me particularise this comment by pointing out that in the western world we are used to walking into homes with our shoes on thereby bringing in the outside dirt and dust with us. In contrast, in Iran the home is hallowed ground, a sacred place where family and friends socialise. Remember how the ‘coalition of the willing’ forces invading Iraq never understood, respected nor cared about this custom, and regarded it as a weakness. Instead, legally protected by their governments they went into homes with boots and all – even defecating about the places they visited. The so-called civilized western world is by comparison rather crude and wanting in delicacies. Mind you, in the west we do have that wonderful addiction to consumerism – I quote Dr De Maria’s 1998 quip: ‘The only freedom we have in the west is the freedom to go shopping’.

Though absolutely predictable, the world media reaction fascinated me somewhat because of this transparency. I could see the manipulators, the control freaks, literally flipping out as the Tehran ‘Holocaust’ Conference began. [Read more...]

The Muslim prophet born in Bethlehem

The Muslim prophet born in Bethlehem

The story of Jesus held a special place within early Islam. There is no need for a clash of civilisations

Karen Armstrong

Guardian

http://www.guardian.co.uk/comment/story/0,,1977918,00.html

In 632, after five years of fearful warfare, the city of Mecca in the Arabian Hijaz voluntarily opened its gates to the Muslim army. No blood was shed and nobody was forced to convert to Islam, but the Prophet Muhammad ordered the destruction of all idols and icons of the Divine. There were a number of frescoes painted on the inner walls of the Kabah, the ancient granite shrine in the centre of Mecca, and one of them, it is said, depicted Mary and the infant Jesus. Immediately Muhammad covered it reverently with his cloak, ordering all the other pictures to be destroyed except that one.

This story may surprise people in the west, who have regarded Islam as the implacable enemy of Christianity ever since the crusades, but it is salutary to recall it during the Christmas season when we are surrounded by similar images of the Virgin and Child. It reminds us that the so-called clash of civilisations was by no means inevitable. For centuries Muslims cherished the figure of Jesus, who is honoured in the Qur’an as one of the greatest of the prophets and, in the formative years of Islam, became a constituent part of the emergent Muslim identity.

There are important lessons here for both Christians and Muslims – especially, perhaps, at Christmas. [Read more...]

THE MAN FROM GALILEE

Chapter 10

THE MAN FROM GALILEE
by Douglas Reed

When Jesus was born the vibrant expectation that a marvellous being was about to appear was general among the Judeans. They longed for such proof that Jehovah intended to keep the Covenant with his chosen people, and the scribes, reacting to the pressure of this popular longing, gradually had introduced into the scriptures the idea of the anointed one, the Messiah, who would come to fulfil his bargain.

The Targams, the rabbinical commentaries on the Law, said: “How beautiful he is, the Messiah king who shall arise from the house of Judah. He will gird up his loins and advance to do battle with his enemies and many kings shall be slain”.

This passage shows what the Judeans had been led to expect. They awaited a militant, avenging Messiah (in the tradition of “all the firstborn of Egypt” and the destruction of Babylon) who would break Judah’s enemies “with a rod of iron” and “dash them in pieces like a potter’s vase”; who would bring them empire of this world and the literal fulfilment of the tribal Law; for this was what generations of Pharisees and Levites had foretold.

The idea of a lowly Messiah who would say “love your enemies” and be “despised and rejected of men, a man of sorrows” was not present in the public mind at all and would have been “despised and rejected”, had any called attention to these words of Isaiah (which only gained significance after Jesus had lived and died).

Yet the being who appeared, though he was lowly and taught love, apparently claimed to be this Messiah and was by many so acclaimed!

Subject: Has Europe gone crazy?

Title: David Duke in Iran: “Has Europe gone crazy?”

Speech delivered at the Teheran International Convention on the Holocaust:

Distinguished friends,

Thank you Dr. Mohammadi and all the distinguished scholars who are here at a conference that history shall one day deem as one of the most important of the 21st century.

I and all the conference participants must be especially thankful to the President of Iran, Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, who has had the knowledge, the foresight and the courage to convene this conference to offer free speech for the world’s most repressed idea, Holocaust revisionism. We must remember that the main themes of this conference as stated by Iran’s President are the vital human right of freedom of speech and the condemnation of the shameful imprisonment of European scholars and academics who simply dare to state their opinions of historical events that occurred over 60 years ago.

This conference embraces the idea of free speech, thought, and conscience. The U.S. State Department, under thorough control of International Zionism, in a formal statement called this conference a quote, “disgrace.” The real disgrace is that free men are imprisoned and silenced in Europe and in other European-descended nations around the world. The disgrace is that no leaders of our own nations seem have the courage to defend free speech.

I also want to thank your President for inviting me, as controversial as I am, to be here. The Zionist-influenced media lies about me with the same enthusiasm as they lie about him. He will be condemned for having me here, and I as a former American elected official will be condemned by the Zionist influenced press in America for coming here in peace and friendship to a nation that they hate: the nation of Iran.

But, we at this conference have decided that no longer will we let the Zionists dictate to us. They shall not dictate to us who will be our friends, who will be our enemies, nor will we permit them to dictate to us only their version of the past, and we will certainly not let them dictate our future!

COSMIC DIALOGUE

COSMIC DIALOGUE

by Peter Solomon
sirius.peter@ntlworld.com
Sunday, Dec. 17, 2006

The dialogue displacement theory, postulates that all intentionally generated communication between human beings who gather for higher purposes, will displace all personal history and identity into the Trans-human world of cosmic processes, where what we are is no less than the universe perceiving itself. This action is primal and binds the human agents involved to the whole of creation, and they become a function of the unified field of awareness which feeds back into the system the novelty of the unknown. We speak to the universe by harmonic resonance through the medium of intentional communication with each other.

Human beings are “whole systems” by that I mean they are not merely a part of some greater whole, they are the “Hole” through which All and Everything can enter, when they are in the state of divine emptiness, they are a hologram of the Cosmos. Everything they need to know is contained within them, about each other, and about the universe. To know ourselves is to know all. In any “intentional gathering” of people like ourselves there is a potential for “revelation” by that I mean an opening can be created in the Present Moment that will access the past as well as the future, which acts as a gateway to Other Worlds, Other Times, and Other Beings. We are not what we seem, and by being together intentionally in ” Dialogue ” with each other we remember this, and are freed from the forms and histories of the replicants we misidentify as ourselves.

Then the Mystery is revealed and we see, what we are, where we are, and where we are going. We can then aim our souls at the stars and communicate with Higher Intelligence’s, who only need us, to be looking in their direction for the process of Cosmic Dialogue to begin. Cosmic Dialogue is nothing less than Creation itself. We bring down to Earth the Meaning of the Universe, and incorporate it into the very flesh of our bodies and we see God in the face of everyone around us. And we project our being our humanness up to the heavens to commune in holy alliance, with the forces that maintain and create worlds. This mating of Heaven and Earth is what we do, when we talk to each other, and listen to each other, we are talking to the stars, we are listening to the story of the Universe, we are listening to Time’s endless song of creation reverberate in the voice the of person next to us.

These acts of Intentional communication paint realities on the fabric of time, this manifests in the human mind as perception. Perception is like an entity which acts through the medium of the present moment, and types upon the cosmic keyboard of consciousness messages from Higher Intelligence.

hmmmmmm. healthy hedonism

lol!! chocolate with almonds…… peach cobbler……. vanilla creme sandwich cookies

sitting around a food-filled table with smiling eyes and faces…….. sharing inspiration and insight…….. dancing in celebration of friendship with God and each other……. absorbing the beauty of a flower or a sunset….. listening to harmonious song of birds and the music of the spheres.

i know the pleasure thing is part of the “redemption” of matter……. that individuality must be deeply immersed in the form life in order to redeem ALL of it………. down to the lowest vibratory manifestation. it creates a tension that is purposeful and in a sense is a sacrificial work of salvaging substance/force and forwarding the evolution of matter.

the Old Commentary says…….”the Mother is saved by the birth of Her Son.” (the Son being the relationship between spirit and matter…….. God and His Form) “the forces of substance must eventually yield to the energy of the soul.”

so exploring the pleasure aspect is part of the process…… the catch word is “healthy” so humanity doesn’t end up trashing itself and the planet in wanton self-gratification …… and jeopardize the work of untold previous incarnations and group effort whose end goal is the spiritization of matter……. the manifestation of the Heavenly Man. as with everything else….. balance is key.

Dear Arthur –

Enjoyed your web page discussion [The Marijuana Dialogues]. Took me back to our “Let there be Light” series and pleasure as an ethic.

Speaking of addiction I wonder how many of these experts smoke tobacco and know of the death toll involved ?

Use and abuse through lack of discipline is quite another matter.

In the 1920′s hemp tea was a common remedy for many ailments – my grandmother – used it regularly for her rheumatism as a simple “herb of the field” as given by God in the Genesis 1 intro.

Rich intellectuals – poets – famous authors from our Brit Universities – used more powerful mental stimulents and this cultural cluster influenced global literature and my personal DNA unfoldment in wonderful ways.

Then one time when travelling down in N. Carolina – about 30 years ago – I saw a chain gang working in the ditches along the highway spoke with some of the men – and marijuana was how they got there.

“Cannabis-marijuana has a very long history as a medicinal plant. It was criminalized in 1937, on the basis of a self-serving, racist and agenda-laden campaign by a U.S. government bureaucrat, Harry J. Anslinger.” Who was this guy?

Dear Radical Reader.

Starting in October of this year I submitted a letter to the local Quesnel newspaper decrying the use of piss-testing of young people prior to considering them for lumber mill jobs. As a result of that letter the discussions turned to the topic of Marijuana and since then the newspaper has been publishing pro and con comments about this issue.

The list of responses can be found at the following url on the radicalpress website: http://www.radicalpress.com/?p=241

I’m now publishing the latest response for two reasons: 1. because it illustrates the degree of ignorance still present in the populace and 2. because if you find the discussions of interest you may wish to add to them by sending along your ideas on the topic to the Quesnel Cariboo Observer. Address your letter to: Editor Quesnel Cariboo Observer newsroom@quesnelobserver.com .

It’s rare these days to find a mainstream publication that will give so much coverage to this issue (the paper is a publication of Black Press which owns most of the community newspapers in the province of B.C.) so let’s do what we can to sustain the debate and provide positive feedback for the decriminalization and legalization of this much-maligned medicinal herb.

Thank you.

Re: Attack unnecessary, Feedback, the Observer, Nov. 15.

Arthur Topham’s letter glorifies the use of marijuana as a tremendous God-given gift to society.

A more direct interpretation of the Bible, in fact, proves God could indeed have provided us with Topham’s “sacred weed” not as a gift, but as a curse. Moreover, God dearly wants us to keep marijuana illegal even in the glaring absence of any solid scientific basis to make that decision. In fact, alpha and omega, the beginning and the end of the Bible make this abundantly clear.

What am I to do?

[Editor's Note: In 1776, as the American colonists prepared to disengage from King George's tyranny, an English patriot by the name of Thomas Paine, who,at the time was living in colonies, wrote a series of pamphlets known as The Crisis Papers. In the first of this series called The Crisis, Number 1 he opened with the statement:

"These are the times that try men's souls. The summer soldier and the sunshine patriot will in this crisis, shrink from the service of his country; but he that stands it NOW, deserves the thanks of man and woman. Tyranny, like hell, is not easily conquered; yet we have this consolation with us, that the harder the conflict, the more glorious the triumph. What we obtain too cheap, we esteem too lightly; 'tis dearness only that gives everything its value...."

Those words, plainly spoken at a time when freedom of the individual was a rare commodity in the marketplace of kings and tyrants, still stand firm today when we continue to struggle to maintain our personal freedom and our integrity as human beings. From all sides it seems we are surrounded and attacked by governments, media and a new tyranny known as the Corporation that is hellbent on hounding us to financial and mono-cultural death. How to resist this new crisis is of paramount importance to our sanity and to the well-being of our personal self, our families, friends and the Earth Mother as a whole.

The following rant by Mosiac is a reflection of the sort of dilemma that a person can find themself caught up in when the madness evoked by this vortex of uncontrollable tyranny runs amok in our social and physical environment. Thomas Paine also wrote another famous tract called Common Sense. The following might aptly be called an excerpt from what today we would call, "Common Vents"! Ed.]

Dear Arthur,

I have inserted a little rant I wrote and never found a home for… maybe it will become a radical contribution… or maybe it is too radical…? It doesn’t really serve a purpose other than to demonstrate one man’s exasperation with everything going on in the world. If you feel it can be used in your publications, let me know. -Mosaic

What am I to do?
by Mosaic

What am I to do as a father and a husband? What am I to do as a human being at this time? There is so much bullshit in the world right now, the Gods in the heavens must be reeling from the smell whilst the shit demons of old shriek in joy as they smear it all over their nipples.

I’m confused as to how such mass insanity can grip the world as a whole. What is the truth? Is there even such a thing anymore, or, like our bowels, has the shit become so impacted, so deeply layered, that the truth has smothered and died from stifling stench?

So many lies. Lies to cover the lies to cover the lies to cover the lies and so on…

I’m so disillusioned. I do not believe in country, nor in government, nor in economics, law, politics, religion or any of the other layers of shit that hide the underlying shitty intentions of my fellow human beings.

THINK TRIBAL, SPEAK UNIVERSAL

THINK TRIBAL, SPEAK UNIVERSAL
Don’t let the smear campaigners set the agenda

by Gilad Atzmon

I may as well be the King of The Jews. I have achieved the unachievable, accomplished the impossible. I have managed to unite them all: Right, Left and Centre. The entirety of the primarily-Jewish British political groups: the Zionists the anti-Zionists, Jewish Socialists, Tribal Marxists, The Board of Deputies, Jewish Trotskyites, Jews Sans Frontieres, Jews Avec Frontieres for the first time in history all speak in one single voice. They all repeat exactly the same misquotes. They all hate Gilad Atzmon.

“Pretty impressive,” I think to myself, “I must be doing something right.” Yet, I am slightly confused by my own achievement. When it comes down to it, I’m not the canonical enemy; I am a jazz musician and author. I am not a politician, nor am I a member of any party. I do not present or support any political agenda. I have never been involved in any act of violence (not even as an Israeli soldier) nor have I ever called for violence. I am what some may call an “independent critical thinker”. It is my personal understanding that I choose to share with my readers and listeners. I express my very own reading into events and some speculations regarding the notion of identity. I write about things that I find while looking into myself. This is indeed very dangerous for people who try to promote some collective dogmatic and ethnic tribalism. It is apparently the individual and critical thinker who endangers any form of ideological dogmatism (in general) and Jewish collectivism (in particular).

Surely, the most effective way to confront a thinker is through open intellectual debate. But somehow, this is precisely what those who oppose me refuse to do. Instead, they employ various tactics aimed at silencing me. They are filled with hate. Because, it seems, hate is the name of the game.

Routine and systematic torture is at the heart of America’s war on terror

Routine and systematic torture is at the heart of America’s war on terror

In the fight against cruelty, barbarism and extremism, America has embraced the very evils it claims to confront

After thousands of years of practice, you might have imagined that every possible means of inflicting pain had already been devised. But you should never underestimate the human capacity for invention. United States interrogators, we now discover, have found a new way of destroying a human being.

Last week, defence lawyers acting for José Padilla, a US citizen detained as an “enemy combatant”, released a video showing a mission fraught with deadly risk – taking him to the prison dentist. A group of masked guards in riot gear shackled his legs and hands, blindfolded him with black-out goggles and shut off his hearing with headphones, then marched him down the prison corridor.

Is Padilla really that dangerous? Far from it: his warders describe him as so docile and inactive that he could be mistaken for “a piece of furniture”. The purpose of these measures appeared to be to sustain the regime under which he had lived for more than three years: total sensory deprivation. He had been kept in a blacked-out cell, unable to see or hear anything beyond it. Most importantly, he had had no human contact, except for being bounced off the walls from time to time by his interrogators. As a result, he appears to have lost his mind. I don’t mean this metaphorically. I mean that his mind is no longer there.

The chickens are truly coming home to roost

14, November, 2006

Dear X

It’s less important to listen to what they say… It’s far more important to watch what they do!

As we are heading for the final few gasping days of this enterprise [remember, I am not permitted to discuss the legal case against me] I thought I’d comment on a few observations related to the political turmoil in the United States, in Iraq, Afghanistan, Gaza and Lebanon. The chickens are truly coming home to roost – right on the doorstep of the great deceivers and the ever so clever manipulators.

I have only five pages I am allowed to write, so I can’t possibly cover everything, but you are free and have access to far more news sources than I do, do some research and see if I’m not seeing things with clarity.

Thanks a lot for your letter of August 30, which I received yesterday, after I had not received any mail for exactly 3 weeks. Such gaps have happened before and the only guess I have is that the person in charge of censoring my mail is on vacation rather frequently, so things pile up unprocessed for weeks in a row.

I assume that your questions relating to my daily routine are meant to extract some answers that you – or Paul – intend to post online or use otherwise, like spreading it to other distributors, which is perfectly fine with me.

Let me, therefore, give you a summary of my weekly life, after I have described to you my cell here, so people can imagine how I live. [Read more...]

Assembly of First Nations “puts on the dog” at Ottawa colonial kennel party

helen michell telquaa@hotmail.com sends this story and prefaces it with the following words:

This story is so true. This has been going on far too long. Its time we dismantle the “goon squad”. They have stole and sold far too much of our sacred lands. Our indigenous people have become more and more uneducated and homeless and landless, as a result of this “goon squad”. They need to be stopped in their tracks. The AFN needs to stop living the high and mighty life, and abusing indigenous women and begin to take care of Indigenous children.

The illegal treaty process, in British Columbia, Canada, needs a thorough investigation and needs to be stopped altogether. The poor indigenous people of B.C. have no say in this sell off of our sacred lands. Our human rights are being violated on a daily basis. Water is a human right.

AFN “PUTS ON THE DOG” AT “COLONIAL KENNEL PARTY” IN OTTAWA

MNN. Dec. 7, 2006. Ottawa cuts education and basic health care to, as some people say, “pamper their pigs at the trough”. We prefer to refer to them as “taming the rez dogs”.

Band councilors of the colonial government are not just lap poodle show dogs. When our backs are turned they’re vicious junk yard guard dogs that will go for the jugular if any little kid happens to roll under their fence. They want to keep what they’ve got and they don’t care who falls along the side of the dirt road as long as their master is protected.

What went on in Ottawa at the Assembly of First Nations AFN conference was a disgusting display of raw colonial greed. Jim “Jonestown” Prentice must have been jumping with joy when he looked at the sea of former rez dogs yapping at his heels. They are the well-fed photo-op dogs that have come to sign whatever their master tells them to. The real rez dogs are back home in the poor Indigenous communities. At least these rez dogs are still roaming free.

It was said that you can tell the conditions of an Indigenous community by looking over the rez dogs. If they’re shaggy, dirty, skinny and mean, then the band councils have done a good job of keeping the people down. Over 100 Indigenous communities don’t even have decent drinking water. The most basic human right that the United Nations, another colonizing outfit, is attempting to ensure is decent drinking water in third world countries, those that have not been co-opted by the colonizer’s agenda.

The politics of anti-Semitism – Gilad Atzmon

Is Comment Free at the Guardian? Only if you are a Zionist running a smear campaign: the strange case of Gilad Atzmon

www.peacepalestine.blogspot.com

December 07, 2006

The Guardian’s blog section, “Comment is Free” allowed an article to be printed that was nothing but a Kangaroo Court against Gilad Atzmon. They did not allow his reply to be reprinted, but an edited version to go in the comments section for a day. Here is the full version. So that Comment is really free.

The politics of anti-Semitism – Gilad Atzmon

In an article published by the Guardian’s Comment is Free, David Hirsh an ultra-Zionist academic, accused me of being “anti-Semitic” and an “anti-Jewish racist”. Yet, even though the piece looks like it is fully researched, Hirsh fails to present one single argument that can support his accusations. On the occasions that he attempts to do so, when he seems to be getting close to substantiating his accusations, it is only because he takes my words completely out of context, crudely diverts their meaning and in doing so, deliberately misleads his readers. This is something you might expect from a politician but not from an academic.

In his comment, Hirsh extensively quotes from an old paper of mine in which I explore the politics of anti-Semitism. In this paper I argue that anti-Semitism is an archaic notion that exists only to fuel Zionism.

Here are my exact words:

“In the devastating reality created by the Jewish state, anti-Semitism has been replaced by political reaction. I am not suggesting that Jewish interests are not being mutilated and vandalized. I am not saying that synagogues aren’t being attacked, that Jewish graves are not brutally smashed up. I am saying that these acts, that are in no way legitimate, should be seen as political responses rather than racially motivated acts or ‘irrational’ hate crimes.”

The argument is rather simple. Zionism is fuelled by the vivid image of anti-Jewish feelings. Indeed, in a world without anti-Semitism, there would be no need for a Jewish national shelter, i.e. Israel. In other words, we are facing here a vicious circle in which Israel is the first to benefit from the growth of anti-Semitism. Thus, it is not very surprising that Hirsh, being a Zionist ideologist, would seek to present any form of anti-Zionism as a manifestation of anti-Semitism. However the question is whether he succeeds in this premise of his.
