Dear Freedom of Speech supporters,
This is the the second Legal Update from RadicalPress.com regarding my pending Sec. 319(2) CC “Willful Promotion of Hatred” court case initiated by Richard Warman and Harry Abrams on behalf of their taskmaster, B’nai Brith Canada.
Allow me first to say that I am thankful for the opportunity to be still able to post this update on my website without fear of the thought police commissars busting down my door at midnight and hauling me away to some jail cell. Big thanks to my lawyer Douglas Christie for his professional assistance in court yesterday (Tuesday, November 13, 2002) via telephone from his Victoria, B.C. office.
The purpose of yesterday’s court proceedings was to set further court dates in order to deal with two outstanding issues:
1. To argue the issue of what if any restrictions should be imposed on my ability to communicate on the internet.
2. To ask that a clone of the hard drive of one of my Mac computers be returned to my lawyer so that we would have all the necessary information to use in my defense.
Let me elaborate a bit here on what transpired during this session before the representatives of the Queen of England aka “Regina”, aka “the Crown”.
First off with respect to the Honourable Justice Morgan who has been overseeing these proceedings during most of my appearances.
Judge Morgan has, up to this point, behaved in a most exemplary manner toward myself and my lawyer Doug Christie, treating both of us in a respectful manner and in the case of myself, when Doug is not able to be there either by phone or in person, the Judge has been most helpful in pointing out my legal rights and making practical, helpful suggestions.
On the other hand, when it comes to Crown Council Jennifer Johnston, I am witnessing a person who has been pursuing this case in a most aggressive and fiercely relentless manner since the start.
Granted she is young and in all likelihood as unaware of what the issue is as any other person who has never taken the time to research the whole phenomenon of Political Zionism and its connection to those who are now out for blood in this case.
Nonetheless her manner in the court room, while a touch more than border-line theatrical, is a thing to behold. I will undoubtedly have more to say about CC Johnston in further updates but I thought it might be appropriate at this point to give readers my personal impression of her demeanour. It really does appear that the more nonsense she receives from her guiding spirit, Det-Cst Terry Wilson of the BC HATE CRIME TEAM, the ‘meanour’ she gets. 
When the issue of setting a date for my lawyer to address the draconian conditions that the Crown is again wanting to impose on me (likely for the duration of the upcoming trial by Judge and Jury) CC Johnston did her utmost to inform Judge Morgan that since November 2, 2012 (when I first realized I was free to post on my website once more), I had displayed the unabashed temerity and outright audacity to post 19 new articles!!!
OMG! or as my Talmud-driven detractors over at B’nai Brith Canada might have muttered under their breath, “Oi veh, such chutzpah coming from that anti-Semitic, hate-mongering goy!”
Then, in her ensuing ardour, she added for emphasis a few juicy headline quotes that Det-Cst Terry Wilson had furnished her with; ones that he and his pretty partner in crime, Cst Normandie Levas, obviously gleaned from their daily inspection of my website, RadicalPress.com and figured were more solid proof that I’m continuing in my “Willful Promotion of Hatred” toward the “Jewish religion” and those of “Jewish ethnic origin”.
Your Honour, she said, the defendant has posted such headings as:
“Rothschild Zionist front designed to destroy free speech and control the internet”
“Jewish Supremacist Onslaught against Arthur Topham”
“Canada Is under brutal Jewish occupation”
I’m really not sure what she was expecting Judge Morgan to say to this but he responded in an impartial, intelligent manner conveying to the court that basically these are alleged offences, if in fact “offences at all” and then proceeded to go on to set a new date in order to deal with upcoming issues.
I should also add as a final note that the Disclosure documents containing all the information as to what the Crown intends to use in their subsequent court proceedings had still not arrived at Doug Christie’s office so the Judge set a new date of Tuesday, November 20th at 1:30 pm when the Crown and Defence will then try to find a further agreeable date to hold a Preliminary Hearing on the matter.
That is basically what took place yesterday, November 13th, 2012 in the Quesnel Court House.

As one can see from Ezra’s photo that appeared on the back cover of his 1996 book, YouthQuake, a production of The Fraser Institute, a right wing think tank that tends to promote Zionist ideals masked under deceptive language, he was at that time a fairly chipper-looking, albeit geeky looking eager beaver 24 year old young man already marked for fame and fortune.
In fact he’s actually the same age as my eldest daughter and obviously grew up in the same Canadian cultural setting and time period albeit it’s highly unlikely that his parents were hippies like my children’s parents were.
At the time Ezra’s book came out Michael Walker, Executive Director for The Fraser Institute remarked in its Preface that it was, “…written by one of the brightest student interns ever to work at The Fraser Institute. It is important because of the insights it provides into the mind-set of the next generation of Canadian leaders. For, certainly, Ezra Levant is going to be a Leader.”
Well, sixteen years later and many a mile down the road to fame and fortune we see that Ezra the younger, now 40 years, is in a position of some importance within the Zionist mainstream media in Canada having his own talk show on the SunTV News Network out of Toronto called The Source and having within his power the ability to help set the nation’s trends in terms of influencing television viewers across the country and beyond.
Now recently, having been charged by the Queen of England for supposedly committing a “hate” crime against “people of the Jewish religion or ethnic origin” I noticed that Ezra had taken a keen interest in my case and requested an interview with my lawyer Doug Christie to discuss it on his talk show. Having been caught up in the “hate speech” web himself over the past number of years with the same culprit responsible for having laid the present charge against me I could see why he would find the subject of some interest and want to discuss it further.
Of course Ezra didn’t have the chutzpah to invite me on to his show like he did in the case of Marc Lemire who also has been battling with the B’nai Brith “Hate Speech” Internet censors for so long that I can’t recall when he first was attacked. Marc, like Ezra and myself, also was falsely accused by this same chronic complainer Richard Warman; a deluded die-hard deceiver and Zionist psychophant who has filed more suits in his closet of hate than most Jewish tailors manage to do in a lifetime!
So I figured, second best, that it was a good thing Ezra should at least interview Doug Christie and get some measure of response from the man who has been defending innocent victims of this hate lobby for decades now. When Marc Lemire sent me the url to Ezra’s show later the same day I was pleased to see that it had taken place. Then, after watching Ezra’s performance, I readily saw that for all of his feigned concern over the injustices of the infamous sec. 13 legislation and now section 319(2) of the Criminal Code of Canada, both of which Warman and Harry Abrams and the B’nai Brith have been and are using in their ongoing witch hunts to silence criticism of Israel and the Zionist doctrine, there he was on national television doing his damnedest to slander and libel my name ostensibly in the interests of ‘free speech’!
Oi vey I thought to myself, with friends like this who needs enemies? Here he is, one of Canada’s most vocal advocates for freedom of speech on the Internet and he’s sitting there telling the world blatant lies about me and making me out to be some sort of crazed Jew hating anti-Semite!
Within the short span of about six minutes good ol’ free speech advocate Ezra Levant managed to slander, defame and libel me as many times as possible punctuating every comment or question to lawyer Doug Christie with at least one or more ad hominem epithets all in order to show the world just how grand and liberal the mainstream media truly is when it comes to freedom of expression.
Yes, said Ezra, that Topham is an “anti-Semite” and “offensive” and an “anti-Zionist [which is] code for anti-Semitic” and his website is “gross” and his comments “repulsive” and everything that he does is “motivated by a form of malice” and on top of that I also think he’s a “nobody” and an “anti-Semitic idiot and a right wing wacko” and you know really when it comes right down to it “I HATE ARTHUR TOPHAM!”
It was truly amazing to watch and listen to all his hyper-charged frenetic frothing regarding my person all the while waxing eloquent about I was surely going to win my case. Well, being a Zionist insider maybe he’s privy to something most people don’t know. Time will tell.
Now the question needs to be asked, “Where is the deception in this apparently earnest show of support for freedom of speech on the part of Ezra Levant?”
When Ezra first introduced his topic to his television audience his initial statement was that he knew of me because I had been “spamming” him for years which, of course, was an outright lie. Ezra and myself had in the past exchanged emails and I was registered on his blog where I contributed commentary on some of articles. On top of that other supporters of his had gallantly attempted to solicit Ezra to lend his support to my case with Canadian Human Rights Commission but he merely dismissed them by stating that I was an “anti-Semite” and that he didn’t deal with such creatures. When Ezra eventually asked to be taken off my list I respected his request and did so.
In this vein therefore I would ask readers to take a look at an article which I wrote and published on my website that was written back in July of 2008; one that deals with precisely the same issues that are still being argued and discussed today with regard to Ezra’s one-sided view of who exactly ought to be given positive exposure when it comes to Freedom of Speech and who is deserving of the type of defamation that one witnessed during his Nov. 8th interview with Doug Christie.

During the show the point was made, by Ezra Levant and Doug Christie, that both hate and love are emotions which should never ever fall under the control of any government agency and that they ought to remain sacrosanct and protected by law. And that is true. And for that reason alone I could say that I ought to love Ezra Levant for espousing such a view just as I love Doug Christie for taking a similar and adamant stand on the same issue.
But, as a person who, in years, has also come to realize that our nation is not functioning by the rule of law any longer and also by the fact that the Deputy Assistant Attorney General of the province of British Columbia (an appointed minion of the ‘Crown’ who in all likelihood is pro-Zionist) has saw fit to actually proceed with an attempt to find me guilty of an alleged “thought crime” by the most notorious witch hunting Jewish lobby group on the face of the planet, I find myself having to protest to the maximum this deceitfully sly slight of hand which Ezra Levant has used to tarnish my good name and to prejudice the Canadian public against me right from the start of my impending trial.
Ezra Levant is a lawyer as well as a Zionist mouthpiece for the msm and he is fully cognizant of the fact that while Sec. 13 of the Canadian Human Rights Act is now in the process of being wiped off the books by the federal government he is also well aware that Section 319(2) of the Criminal Code of Canada is still in full operation and remains a lethal weapon for use by the B’nai Brith lobby here in Canada. They obviously intend to use it to their fullest potential in order to set a precedent in law that would, should I be convicted of this phoney charge, affect any other Canadian who might at some time in the future try to speak and write the truth about what Zionism truly represents or who might question the genocide of the Palestinian people in Gaza by the Israeli government. And so in that context I find it absolutely disgraceful and outrageous and malicious that someone in Ezra’s position would be doing his utmost to bad mouth me in every way possible at a time when this despicable action is being taken against me by B’nai Brith Canada.
There are of course other more sinister aspects to the hate-mongering of Ezra Levant which should be noted and addressed. The world is full of medicated mind-controlled zombies these days and should one of them happen to hear Ezra Levant going on and on about how how he hates me and what a malicious idiot and anti-Semite I am there is then the possibility that my life could be endangered by such acts of premeditated hatred and slander. Add to that the fact that I am now forced to live unarmed in an area where there is no emergency police assistance close by and you can see why I am a bit concerned about these spiteful lies that Levant has been spreading throughout the msm via Sun News Network. In this sense, rather than loving Ezra, I think I ought to sue Ezra Levant and the Sun News Network for having jeopardized both my physical safety and the safety of my family as well as prejudicing the public against me via his libelous and hurtful lies.
Four years ago when composing the critique mentioned above I wrote, “But, alas, I cannot, at this point and in good conscience, condemn Ezra Levant fully for some of the errors he is making. Whether it is conscious on his part or just plain ignorance of all the facts I truly do not know… when I was 36, I too was unaware of the degree of involvement in global politics that the Zionists actually represented. It took me close to sixty years to finally figure it out so in that context there is always hope that a bright young man like Ezra Levant, will come to realize the error of his ways [but] if you are going to be a “Leader” here in Canada then you are going to have to hit the books some more and get a much firmer grasp on the issue of Political Zionism and learn how this alien and anti-Christian Talmudic doctrine is affecting the Canadian landscape. It behooves you to understand the primary motives of those who are determined to turn this nation into another Communist gulag. Not just for the sake of those “individual Jews who love “freedom of speech” but for the rest of us non-Jew Canadians who also cherish these very same ideals.”

Dear Radical Readers & Free Speech Supporters,
The plan is to provide readers with legal updates on my court case involving B’nai Brith Canada aka The Crown aka Regina aka the Queen of England and the two Rothschild agents Richard Warman and Harry Abrams versus Arthur Topham Owner, Publisher and Editor of RadicalPress.com.
A brief recap of the issue will be given here for those unaware of the case but will not be republished with subsequent updates.
On May 16, 2012 I was arrested while on my way to work by Det-Cst Terry Wilson and members of his BC HATE CRIME TEAM as well as some local RCMP officers who assisted in the attack. I was read out a charge Sec. 319(2) of the Criminal Code of Canada which states, “Willful promotion of hatred” and then handcuffed and taken to the Quesnel City RCMP jail where I was incarcerated for twelve hours.
During my incarceration Det-Cst Terry Wilson obtained an illegal search warrant and then proceeded to enter my home and remove all of my computers and electronic files plus four of my firearms, two of which were kept upstairs unloaded and two of which were kept loaded downstairs. One was a 30-30 Winchester and the other was a Marlin 22. calibre rifle. The two loaded rifles have been kept loaded and in my place of residence for the past 35 years without incident and are there to protect both my family and myself from predators of all types. I live approximately thirty kilometres (20 miles) out of Quesnel in an isolated area where there is no police station and no possibility of assistance in the case of emergency.
Prior to being put in jail Det-Cst Wilson asked me if I had any firearms in my home and I told him exactly what I stated above.
While in jail I was able to contact my lawyer Douglas Christie who lives in Victoria, B.C. and he was instrumental in assisting me until such time that I was released at approximately 11:00 p.m. on the same day.
Before being released I was given a number of documents which I was asked to sign but didn’t on advise of my lawyer.
The first document was called a PROMISE TO APPEAR and included a second document called an Undertaking Given to a Peace Officer or Officer in Charge.
The PROMISE TO APPEAR document stated the date of the alleged offence, the place, a Description of the Offence and the Section of the Criminal Code Act where it was to be found.
The Offence Date was given as: April 28, 2011 to May 14, 2012.
The Place was: Quesnel, B.C.
The Offence is described as “Willful Promotion of Hatred”
The Section of the Act: CC 319(2)
I was ordered to appear in Quesnel Provincial Court on the 9th of October at 9:00 pm.
The second document called an Undertaking Given to a Peace Officer (basically the bail conditions for my release) stated:
1. That I would appear at the time and place stated in the first document.
2. That I abstain from possessing a firearm and surrender any to Det-Cst Terry Wilson.
3.That I would abstain from communicating directly or indirectly with Richard Warman and Harry Abrams.
4. That I Can not access the internet or be in possession of a device that would be capable of accessing the internet except in the course of lawful employment.
The third document was a copy of the illegal Search Warrant which Det-Cst Terry Wilson used to steal my computers from my home.
This document was submitted by Det-Cst Terry Wilson’s second in command, Cst. Normandie Levas, who provided a Justice of the Peace down on the lower mainland of B.C. with all the purported “proof” that I had committed said offence of “Wilful Promotion of Hatred contrary to Section 319(2) of the Criminal Code”.
The Search Warrant stated that there were “reasonable grounds” to believe that the following items will afford evidence of the Offences:
1. Computer, laptop, Smartphone or device that accesses the internet and is capable of uploading and downloading information, and all their peripheral equipment, computer discs, drives or storage devices which could be used to store information; and
2. Billing records, receipts and correspondence with ABC Communications and Netfirms, and any correspondence in the form of mail or physical documents directly related to Radical Press.
The Search Warrant authorized the thought police to enter my home from 1700 hrs (5 pm) until 2100 hours (11 pm) on May 16, 2012 and was finally approved at 1655 hours (4:55 pm) by F.D. Hodge a Judicial Justice from Burnaby, B.C. I had been placed in jail for close to 6 hours while the Hate Crime Team waited to enter my residence and steal all of my computer equipment.
Over the course of the spring and summer I worked placer mining and my lawyer assisted me in trying to have the original conditions of my release changed so that I could email friends and associates and browse the Internet and write and post articles on my website.
It was not until the date of my first appearance on October 9, 2012 that things changed. After over five months of holding my computers and reapplying for extensions to detain them further Det-Cst Wilson still hadn’t been able to discover whatever additional “evidence” was required in order for the provincial Attorney General’s office to issue a formal Information or what is better know as an Indictment. When the Appearance date arrived there was still no “Information” as the legal beagles word it, so on that day the Order to not go on the Internet and post articles, etc. ended and I was then free to write and post to my website RadicalPress.com.
The unfortunate thing was that neither the Crown Council nor my lawyer informed me of this fact and so it wasn’t until November 1, 2012 that I finally realized I was free to use the Internet once again. Since that date I have been attempting to put out as much information regarding my case as possible because I knew that the Crown was still pressing to have charges laid and that when a formal charge did occur that the Crown would once again try to impose the same (or worse) conditions on my Charter Rights to access and use the Internet.
After receiving word of the Indictment I once again appeared in Quesnel court on Thursday, November 8, 2012 in order to hear Crown Council Jennifer Johnston notify Judge Morgan that an Indictment had indeed been issued on November 5, 2012. My lawyer Doug Christie was in Winnipeg, Manitoba at the time and appeared via telephone to address any concerns. It was just as well as it became clearly evident that CC Johnston was aggressively pursuing the same agenda as before in that she wanted these same extreme conditions imposed upon my new bail conditions that were to be issued that same day by Judge Morgan.
CC Johnston was fully aware that my lawyer Doug Christie was opposed to this as he had already submitted applications prior to that date attempting to have the terms of my initial release lessened. The Judge ended up deciding to issue a new Undertaking because of the Indictment but one that would only include the first 3 conditions of the first Undertaking and not the one dealing with my former restricted right to access the Internet, post to my website or other websites or write emails to whomever I chose (apart from the two complainants). He gave Crown Council until November 13, 2012 (Tuesday) to furnish my lawyer with the Disclosure documents or the Particulars explaining the actual postings on my website that the Crown was alleging violated sec. 319(2) of the Criminal Code and that at 1:30 pm on the 13th we would meet again in court before Judge Morgan to argue against the Crown’s outrageous attempt to silence me while this court case is being staged.
That was the last legal event to date but what followed in the mainstream media regarding my case is of utmost importance with respect to both my pending trial and the critical necessity of retaining my right to use my website to both defend myself and to present MY side of the story as to what is and will be transpiring over the course of my court trial, one that will be held before a Judge and a Jury. It’s evident from what took place on the SunTVNew Network’s, The Source with host Zionist Jew Ezra Levant, a died in the wool kosher Zionist Jew, that the mainstream media is not about to give this case any fair, unbiased coverage.
While on the surface of the six and a half minute interview with my lawyer Doug Christie Ezra Levant was spouting off platitudes about freedom of speech in rapid succession at the same time he was spreading across the television network and the nation as well as globally a number of lies concerning my character and my motives and my writings and website.
Allow me to quote some of the epithets and defamatory remarks Ezra Levant used to describe my person on his tv show:
“I call him an anti-Semite”
“I call Arthur Topham offensive”
“I don’t care much for Arthur Topham. He’s anti-Zionist. I think that’s code for anti-Semitic”
“We’re showing you some screen shots from his website. I disagree with them. I find them gross. I find some of his comments repulsive.”
“I’m sure that Arthur Topham is motivated by a form of malice.”
“I see hate everywhere in Canada, especially in B.C.” [where Arthur Topham just happens to reside. Ed.]
“He’s a nobody”
“I HATE ARTHUR TOPHAM”
“I think he’s an idiot. An anti-Semitic idiot”
“right wing wackos like Topham”
If this is the sort of coverage that I can expect from the mainstream media when it comes to unbiased reporting is it that strange that I would not want to be prohibited from publishing my side of events when it comes to my defence?
Let us see what happens on November 13, 2012 and whether or not our justice system will treat an innocent man fairly or else side with the traitors who now are in control of this nation’s media and money.

(JTA) – A Canadian miner was charged with a hate crime for anti-Jewish content on his website.
Arthur Topham, 65, of Quesnel in British Columbia, was charged Monday with promoting hatred against an identifiable group on his website, Radical Press. Topham has run the website, described by the local media as anti-Zionist, since 1998.
The charge comes six months after a criminal investigation into the website’s content was launched, according to the Toronto Sun.
Topham also was charged with a firearms-related offense. He is due back in a British Columbia court on Thursday.
Complaints against the website, which has referred to Jews as snakes and Zionists and posted the anti-Semitic hoax “The Protocols of the Elders of Zion,” date back to 2007.
“Judging from the wording of this indictment, it looks like it’s going to be a battle between the Christians and the Jews,” Topham wrote in a post on his website Monday.
Topham’s lawyer, Doug Christie, has defended Holocaust deniers Ernst Zundel and James Keegstra. Christie told a British Columbia news radio station that Zionism is a political belief, “albeit connected effectively to Jewish groups, Jewish ideas,” and that opposing a political belief is not a crime.

Owner Arthur Topham, Quesnel, B.C., has been charged with willfully promoting hatred against Jews.
The publisher of a British Columbia website that has drawn repeated complaints over its portrayals of Jews has been charged with promoting hatred following a six-month police investigation, officials said Tuesday.
Arthur Topham, 65, was charged with a single count of willfully promoting hatred against “people of the Jewish religion or ethnic group” as well as improper storage of firearms found in his house near Quesnel, B.C.
“The branch has approved charges against him,” said Neil MacKenzie of the B.C. Criminal Justice Branch. He said the province’s assistant deputy attorney general had sign off on the hate crimes charge.
Mr. Topham was to make a court appearance Thursday.
“We’re glad that the government and the police have taken our concerns seriously and proceeded,” said Anita Bromberg of B’nai Brith Canada, which had asked police to investigate the website last May.
Mr. Topham is a miner and is listed as secretary of the Cariboo Mining Association. He also publishes Radical Press, a website that posts materials with conspiracy theory themes such as the “Biological Jew” and the “Protocols of the Learned Elders of Zion.”
The Biological Jew depicts Jews as parasites that suck the blood from their “host” societies while the Protocols is a fraudulent book that purports to describe a conspiracy for worldwide Jewish domination.
In May, Harry Abrams, a B’nai Brith volunteer in Victoria, B.C., and Ottawa lawyer Richard Warman both complained to police about the website. Mr. Warman’s complaint said both the Biological Jew and the Protocols were banned from import into Canada as hate propaganda.
“When you’ve got that kind of just rabid attack against the Jewish community I think it’s incumbent on people to stand up in society,” said Mr. Warman, who regularly files complaints about racist websites.
“It seems that a lesson needs to be learned and the criminal system might be the best way to do it”
Police arrested Mr. Topham and questioned him on May 16. According to a transcript of his police interview that was posted online, he asked the investigating officer, Det. Const. Terry Wilson of the B.C. Hate Crime Team, whether he had been trained in Tel Aviv or whether Mossad had come to Canada to train him.
He lectured the officer about how Jews “control what you’re doing” and said they had “created the unit you’re working for.” He asked the officer if he was a Christian and scolded him for what he was doing.
“These guys have spent the last 2,000 years trying to destroy our religion, and you like a Judas are out here like a, like one of their dogs chasing down people who are trying to defend the Christian religion,” he said. “You ought to be ashamed of yourself.”
Doug Christie, Mr. Topham’s defence lawyer, confirmed in an email his client had been formally charged. Asked if he wanted to comment, Mr. Christie responded: “Opposition to Zionism should not be illegal.”
But Ms. Bromberg said the website went well beyond that.“This isn’t a free speech issue about the politics behind Israel. It is borrowing on age-old canards that raise our concerns that this is designed to spread hate,” she said. “Our concerns were valid, they were carefully considered by the police and obviously, because these were hate crimes charges, by the attorney-general.”
Mr. Topham announced on his website he had been charged. He portrayed himself as a defender of free speech and asked for donations. “Judging from the wording of this indictment it looks like it’s going to be a battle between the Christians and the Jews,” he wrote.
Complaints about Radical Press go back to 2007, when B’nai Brith took the website to the Canadian Human Rights Commission. But the case stalled due to uncertainty over the law. Police assumed sole responsibility for investigating hate crimes complaints about websites after the Conservatives voted in June to repeal a law that had previously allowed the rights commission to deal with such matters.

HYTHE, ALTA.â€â€Eco-warrior Wiebo Ludwig is fighting his final battle. It’s a question of when, not if. Diagnosed last year with cancer of the esophagus, Ludwig, 70, is in palliative care and preparing for death.
Ludwig was rushed to hospital in nearby Grande Prairie last Monday after food became lodged in his throat. Doctors enlarged the stent they first inserted in his esophagus in late January.
The patriarch of a Christian clan returned to the compound of his roughly 60 followers and family near here at Trickle Creek Farm, the 324-hectare parcel of nearly self-sufficient land in northwest Alberta’s Peace River country. The Dutch-born enemy of the oil industry  eco-terrorist, his many foes would label him  has lost 30 pounds in the past month alone.
“It doesn’t bother me,†Ludwig said of his impending death, during a Trickle Creek interview last week. “I’m quite grateful about my life, in many ways a concentrated series of battles. I enjoyed the battles. They were difficult times, but meaningful. I was seldom bored, put it that way.â€Â
Boring is definitely not a word to associate with Wiebo Ludwig.
Ever since he moved here in the mid-1980s, his name has been a lightning rod for deep, bitter controversy over the good and bad things about life in the oilpatch.
For those who espouse green living and turning our collective backs on uncontrolled oil and gas drilling and development, Ludwig is something of a messianic folk hero. For decades he has stood as an outspoken, implacable, media-savvy foe of the oil and gas industry, as evidenced by Toronto filmmaker David York’s 2011 National Film Board-backed documentary, Wiebo’s War.
That history, however, also carries a murky, lawless side that includes a 28-month prison sentence for oilfield equipment destruction and vandalism (he served 19 months, released in 2001), other arrests, most recently in January of 2010, multiple armed RCMP raids of the Trickle Creek compound, and the unproven suspicions of involvement in numerous other bombings and oilpatch vandalism across northern Alberta and B.C.
Most tragic was the still unsolved death of a 16-year-old local girl, Karman Willis, shot while roaring around the Trickle Creek compound with other teens in pickup trucks early one morning in June, 1999.
Instead of battling oil and gas companies, Ludwig will spend his final days with his family. “I feel there’s a time when you have to sign off,†he says. “You have to stop at some point.â€Â
He plans to die in his log cabin at the farm he founded nearly three decades ago, now a sprawling complex of modern chalet-type homes, industrial shops, barns, a gazebo, greenhouse, power-producing solar panels and a windmill.
Ludwig spends a lot of time resting in bed, lying down on the couch or sitting in a recliner chair near a wood-burning stove. His eyes still penetrate, but he sounds exhausted. When he’s up to it, Ludwig and his wife of 43 years, Mamie, walk hand-in-hand along paths that cut through nearby woods.
He maintains he’s looking forward to “crossing over.â€Â
“It is apparent to everyone there is an afterlife, even though we repress that in our anxieties,†he says. “In some ways, I am eager for redemption, eager to see what’s there. I just hope I die without too much pain.â€Â
Ludwig, a carpenter, has completed his final construction project: a wooden casket. Last month his daughters finished the lining  a cream-coloured satin that covers a layer of soft foam and straw. The simple casket rests on two metal stands in one of the compound’s main houses.
In months, perhaps weeks or even days  his pain-ridden voice could barely be heard on the phone three days ago  Ludwig will die. That coffin will be placed in a concrete crypt above ground in the family cemetery in the nearby woods. Ludwig at first jokes that the government might go after him if he went underground, but later says the reason for having the crypt above ground is for “possible future restlessness … in case we have to move again.â€Â
He expresses no regrets about the infamy of his life at Trickle Creek.
“I feel very reconciled,†he says. “My life has had some sordid chapters, especially my youthful life. But I feel a peace with the Lord and with man in terms of having dealt with those things in my soul, my spirit.
“I’m not a person who has had small prayers. I’ve asked for major things to change my life and the lives of those I’m with. I’m not disappointed.â€Â
“I have been somewhat persistent  I guess that’s been my one quality that’s been admired, not to give in and compromise with the BS … not to complain all day long either but to work at something that is commendable, a solution to some of our problems, hopefully.â€Â
According to family members, their leader’s funeral will be a private affair, not open to the public or to the news media. Ludwig says he wants the people of Trickle Creek to “retreat†for a while after his death.
“Not so much to mourn my dying,†he says, “but to give them some time to work their way through it.â€Â
“I’m glad this is a bit of a process. I can spend time saying goodbye to the family and give them some direction on different issues. Everybody has a chance to face it … rather than ‘boom, he’s gone.’â€Â
“We’ve had some beautiful conversations about the reality of us having to give up mortality,†he adds. “We’ve worked out some good things together.â€Â
Ludwig won’t miss much about the broader world outside the compound, the one he led his family away from so many years ago.
“It’s gone that wild out there,†he says. “Our social life is in shambles … family, marital … all these things are just busted up. Individualism has wrecked us terribly, made us lonely and isolated.â€Â
In musing about his accomplishments, he doesn’t dwell on his infamous battles with the oil and gas industry, but on what his family and followers have built at Trickle Creek.
“I’ve seen men and women here really taking hold of this vision. They’ve come through. Many talks, many plans … They’ve come to see the beauty of withdrawing from all the riff-raff the world wants you to chase.
“They’ve pursued something quite steadily that has some character, that has some sense again when it comes to practical issues, like raising your own food. That is almost critical.â€Â
He can’t resist some perhaps final advice to the oil and gas industry:
“Get rid of this stuff and replace it as soon as possible with alternatives, and stop being so stubborn and stupid about it. My advice is, why don’t you just go for it? Do the right thing.
“You can tell the oil and gas industry that we knew we were right all along, but I’ve come to see they also knew that.â€Â
“In the end,†he predicts, “good will win out over evil.

Jim Townsend has spent most of his lifetime fighting for peace and freedom, both within Canada and globally. Like many of us from the 60′s Generation he was able to see the future for the simple reason that he spend his time living in the now. And ‘now’, because of his beliefs, in his country and in life itself, and in his knowing that freedom means the God given right and duty to speak one’s truth, he has been pursued and harassed and hunted down like a dog by those forces within our nation who, for vested and criminal reasons, have set out to silence one of Canada’s great and patriotic citizens.
One might, if they wished to find a comparison to Jim’s voice of reason and common sense, find his equal in that great English patriot and hero of the American War of Independence, Thomas Paine. It was Paine’s ideas; the fruit of his discerning and independent spirit, that tipped the balance of both opinion and history itself, during a period of history when the early American colonies, fast waxing in freedom and prosperity thanks to an abundance of natural resources and space, were faced with the prospect of having to make an ultimate decision; one that would decide their fate as a nation.
The British Crown in 1776 was determined to go to war against the newly founded colonies in the new found world where so many Europeans had fled in vast numbers to escape the endless maelstrom of wars, tyranny, taxation, wage slavery and religious persecution that was then order of the day. Men like George Washington and Thomas Jefferson and Benjamin Franklin all were influenced and impressed into action by the rational arguments made by Paine; arguments as old as dawn’s history and as cold and tangible as the chains that bind every free born human forced to bow down before another’s will.
The fact that today Jim Townsend is in jail in Kamloops, British Columbia, attests not only to what Thomas Paine warned the American people of but also speaks volumes in terms of just how much (or little) humanity has actually progressed over the past 236 years of living in what purports to be a “democratic” country.
Jim, like myself, and many other seekers after truth and justice of the 60s generation, has gone through the mentally challenging incremental stages of growth and learning that are a prerequisite to the actual gaining of a broad, encompassing knowledge of how the world of politics and religion actually works. He began his journey to awareness, not by gazing out idealistically from the hallowed halls of academia and studying college text books in comfort but by entering the real world of common man; a world where freedom depended upon how much money was in your pocket not how many certificates hung from your office wall.
When it comes to understanding how a person’s country is ran politically and economically and who the players are that tend to shape its destiny such degrees of understanding, no different than the academic credentials that adorn the intellectual classes of today’s world, demand a willful, determined effort; one continuously accosted by the conditioned customs of the day.
Jim met these challenges and as a result accomplished what most people today still yearn for: an all encompassing realization and a lucid comprehension of how our world actually is organized when it comes to the basic mechanisms that permit the wheels of both industry and intellect to revolve in harmonious fashion. It is due to his understanding of these principles as well as his cognizance of how they have been usurped and perverted and the fact that he has used his verbal and technical skills via the Internet to transmit his truth that he and his family have been threatened, accosted, literally shot at and prevented from living their lives in peace and comfort.

Jim’s story is much too long and way too interesting for me to tell it in a short introductory essay. My purpose in writing these lines is to hopefully convey to Canadians the urgency of Jim and his family’s plight. The police forces, the judicial forces, the msm forces, and assorted government ministries (both provincial and federal) have determined to destroy Jim’s character and his ability to support his family all because of what Jim has learned about how the “system” works and because he had the courage and integrity to risk his personal freedom in order to convey his truth to other Canadians.
The state is doing its damnedest to stop Jim’s ideas from gaining any traction on the Internet and thus they have arrested him and forced him to remove his websites that contain the incriminating evidence of their own malfeasance. What remains though and what I would encourage anyone reading these words to do is go try and watch Jim’s YouTube productions that still remain in cyberspace and are the essence of what his life’s work has taught him. If you Google “Jim Townsend – videos” you will still be able to find numerous short 10 minute presentations that cover a number of core topics dealing with how our country has been shaped and manipulated into the conditions that presently prevail. I will be posting the titles and urls to a number of them below.
I have been associated both with Jim’s his work and his valiant efforts to support his family for over a dozen years now. His situation, not that unlike my own, is symbolic to other Canadians who are also struggling to shed light on our collective plight as a nation and who find themselves up against a common, conditioned wall of prejudice and idiosyncratic ignorance coupled with a form of self-imposed bigotry that is as daunting as it is delusional.
As the line from another of Phil Ochs’ famous songs goes; one that applies to not only Jim Townsend but to all who strive for freedom and justice, “there but for fortune, go you or I.”
Back in November of 2011 I posted on my website the following message and plea for Jim. If you haven’t signed that petition request yet please try to do so.
Jim’s case is urgent. He was supposed to go to court for a trial and instead they just grabbed him and put him in jail. His health has been compromised due to an unfortunate tractor accident that crushed his body a few years ago. His condition has forced upon him and his family a scenario where finding the wherewithal to survive financially has been an ongoing challenge. As such I would ask you, dear reader, to look into your heart and try to imagine yourself in Jim’s situation and from there extrapolate to whether or not you might be able to help him and his family out. Just when you think they have had their fill, when they couldn’t possibly fit any more into their collective gullet after engorging themselves at the buffet table of vulgar, brutish, boorish behavior, well, surprise, surprise, they come along and one-up themselves, just as they always have, always do, and unfortunately for the rest of us, always will.
It’s probably not a good thing to admit at this particular moment, given what it is I do these days for a living, but the fact of the matter is that until this afternoon, I had never heard of Sarah Silverman.
I do not watch television except for the news and the weather, and not because I am some sort of advanced, enlightened being who doesn’t need distractions like everyone else. Rather, it is because peace of mind is more valuable to me than gold, and thus the last thing I want to hear about are the details of the decadent, depressing world of show business types in America and what life is like for them in the sewer. Thus, I do not know who the latest flavor of the day is with regards to movies, music, television, etc, and therefore why up until today Mz. Silverman was someone unknown to me.
You can imagine then how shocked I was to read the following quote from one of her comedy routines. As usual, I apologize ahead of time to those with delicate ears or delicate eyes –
“I hope the Jews did kill Christ…I’d do it again. I’d fucking do it againâ€â€in a second.â€Â
‘Must be a mistake’ I thought to myself. ‘They’re not that bold yet’.
A quick google search, using the name of this illustrious, much-celebrated and adored Jewish American Princess and a few of the key words attributed to her performance (that I was just sure couldn’t have taken place in this ‘Christian’ country known as the United States, and particularly with all those ‘God Bless America’ bumper stickers flying around these days) and, as luck would have it – ‘Bingo’! just as Fr. Burger used to say on Friday nights at St. Bernadette’s when I was a grade school youngster… Page after page after page of that infamous one-liner, along with page after page after page of praise and rave reviews from the most influential newspapers and periodicals in America.
Of course, in hindsight I now realize that this assumption on my part, that ‘They’re not that bold yet’ was merely symptomatic of this thing known as denial that a lot of us are going through these days as we consider the immensity of the situation we are facing. Again, in the interests of my own defense, this is a perfectly understandable, human thing, this ‘denial’ business. What is taking place with regards to the ‘nice Jewish folks’ who run our entertainment industry and the level to which they are willing to stoop these days is so insane and incomprehensible that it would appear to be impossible to any person of relatively sound mind.
More than this though, this ‘denial’ thing is perfectly understandable when considered in the context of what it means to be a Gentile. The fact is, we do not know what it is like to think with a Jewish mind and to see things through Jewish eyes. As much as we have been propagandized into thinking that we are all the same and that we all share the same basic values, needs and affections, the truth is that this is just another clever marketing ploy on the part of their PR people in making us and our behavior more predictable and pliable. We were not cut from the same cloth. We are not fruit that has fallen from the same tree. We Gentiles do not think like our Jewish counterparts, the history of the last 2,000 years being proof positive of this. As long as we remain Gentile and they remain Jewish we will never see eye to eye, just as we never have, something that they realize all-too-well despite the fact that we do not.
And it is for this reason that there is this undeniable predominance of Jews or else Jewish influence in American media, because Gentile culture has to be remade in their image so that it is more ‘hospitable’ to their affections and their agenda. If the proof of this is not self-evident to us it certainly is to them, partial evidence of which can be found in that infamous article written by Joel Kline appearing in the LA Times a few years ago–
‘This is what happens when you (Gentiles) forget to keep scaring us…Now that we’ve assimilated to the point where we’re completely the same as white people, we’re trying to re-create a community by shoving our culture down your throats.’
And thus, given that we do not think like our counterparts in the Jewish community means we have a difficult time understanding what drives and motivates them. We have trouble appreciating the ‘qualities’ that many (if not most) of them hold dear to some extent, such as nerviness, the willingness to ‘cross the line’ in terms of polite behavior, the willingness to offend and the seemingly ever-present proclivity towards defaming and degrading what is sacrosanct to others, something they refer to collectively as ‘chutzpah’.
And it is this fact – meaning that I still – even in 21st century America – think like a Gentile rather than a Jew, that is the reason for my briefly entertaining that ‘They’re not that bold yet’ notion’.

Terrorism is violence and intimidation used to get people to do what you want. For example, if you want college students to go along with invasive video cameras placed everywhere on campus, just get “a crazy gunman” to shoot a few of them. Like the man wrote in The Protocols of the Learned Elders of Zion, all you have to do is show people some blood and they will do anything you want.
After the Virginia Tech “gunman” sprayed bullets into a classroom, suddenly our campus turned into a video surveillance police state. It was like they were at the ready to slap everything into place as soon as young Mr. Cho shot his classmates. My campus changed over night. To me there seemed a strong correlation between the Cho killings at Virginia Tech and sudden video surveillance at college campuses.
Notice how rapidly a similar thing occurred after 9/11. A sudden upsurge of surround-sound surveillance of every technology. Video, audio, database, cyber-space, in-your-face… Everywhere at every angle. And of course the panted-after wars for Israel.
This was further proven by how corporate wage-slaves were herded into briefings about how to only “give out” their first names. No more proper identification required from those who are supposed to serve you, but they now demand a dossier on every Joe Citizen.
Speaking of Joe’s — Joe McCarthy was right. Get up the guts to look around. Who can deny it? Terrorism, usury, 360-degree surveillance, torture, Guantanamo Bay Gulags — that’s Trotskyite communism. And we got it, Daddio, like a case of lice.
Remember Point Lookout, Maryland? How different is that from the prison on Key West? Only one road in and out of the place. A tight bottleneck of control. In Maryland it was a freezing, burning spit of land that jutted into the water. Chesapeake Bay on one side and Potomac River’s wide mouth on the other. A place where they tortured Confederate prisoners of war by exposure to the elements, disease and deprivation. Key West is surrounded by bull-sharks just like Cuba. Their potential for hell on earth is staggering. Don’t let your government get too big. If they can pull a Point Lookout in the 1860′s, what can they pull today? And yes, “honest” Abe Lincoln was no such thing. That’s why his statue is the biggest one in Washington DC, the City of Truth.
Terrorism is a tool of politics.  Politics is power. A nation/country/state has power only so long as it is able to wage war against other powers. War is when two opposing forces set about killing each other. The winner then takes from the loser whatever he wants. One of the papers from the war college stated casually, “There will always be war as long as one guy wants another guy’s stuff.”
Once a State loses the ability to wage war, it is usurped and dominated by another State who can. Case in Point. Germany. Since Germany’s defeat by the allied forces of WWII, it has been occupied, enslaved, slandered, lampooned and calumniated. It’s culture and people have been under siege since 1945.
What’s going on in the Middle East is very much similar. Israel, backed by world Jewry and their money-power, uses the armies of other nations as their attack dogs. The counterfeit State of Israel whose plinth is a lie, wages unprovoked wars against weaker States like a school-yard bully. The bully extracts money from other States via usury, “hollow-cost” reparations and taxes, taxes, taxes. Their financial rape of the world is almost as bad as their terrorism.
The “War on Terrorism” is yet another elaborate Jewish hoax begging for exposure. A great thinker once wrote that if you tell a big enough lie, most people will believe it. Simply because nobody believes that someone would tell that big a lie. The “War on Terrorism” is that big a lie.
There is no Al Qaeda anymore than there is an Easter Bunny. There is no Islamic culprit for the “kick-off” that started our 9/11 mess. Anymore than there was a systematic killing of Jews by Nazi Germany. One tall tale is as big of a lie as the next one for which there stands not a jot of forensic evidence. Here I have to quote CSI MIAMI, “People sometimes lie — but the evidence never does.”
Terrorism, thy name is Israel. The Whore of Babylon who sits on many waters. She who purchases the souls of men and leads them to the abyss. The corrupt governments of Pakistan, Afghanistan, USA, India, Great Britain, Canada, Australia, the ridiculous European Union and many others all fit the bill and set the stage for the course we are on today.
Let’s name the dirty dogs. Based in Afghanistan are shady characters who fund, support and train mercenary terror. These Joe Shady’s cultivate terrorism like fish in a trout farm. They sneak around Pakistan, running weapons. Then when they are caught red-handed, the U.S. Embassy plays dumb and anybody else involved gives them the old “deny it” routine.
Mercenary terrorism is being injected into Pakistan today by our Central Intelligence Agency (CIA), India’s Research and Analysis Wing (RAW) and Israeli Mossad. The so-called terrorists are simply a fabrication. Just find yourself some low-life thugs, the starving unscrupulous, secular mercenary scum and half-hearted dullards. Unfortunately the world has no shortage of these. For money they’ll do just about anything. What have they to lose? By the looks of some of these campers — not much. I have seen footage of Pakistani soldiers unveiling them from women’s clothes. They were hiding under burka’s.
The CIA drone-bombs sleeping children in back-country Pakistan whilst protecting their terrorist assets in the region at the same time. That is, unless any of them try to strike a peace deal with the locals — then the CIA picks them off. Awe, don’t you wish that I didn’t read so much “real news?” Like how our Joe Shady’s send unsuspecting Middle Eastern boys on errands to drop off U.S. vehicles that blow up when they reach a crowded destination. You inglorious bastards are so busted.
The underhanded money-power knows that there is always a soldier of fortune to be found. A pit-bull who knows nothing but a fight. Problem is with these attack dogs, most haven’t a clue what they are fighting for. If they did they would die of shame and regret.
As for the young soldier who is drafted into warfare, given a weapon and pushed into the field — his is another story. For him, there is only kill or be killed. Cock fight. Dog fight. A game of dodge-ball. Like two years ago in Iraq. American war planners stormed in and tried to “deputize” the Iraqis into killing their own countrymen. Today they are pulling the same schtick in Pakistan, trying to bamboozle Pakistanis into picking fights with their virtuous Muslim brothers, the Taliban.  Now smeared and calumniated by the Jewish press world-wide, the Taliban was the best thing that ever happened to Afghanistan. There’s an American soldier who died with these words on his lips, “Why am I guarding the poppy fields?” He was not killed by Al Qaeda the Easter Bunny. He was picked off by our crooked government. You may have heard of him. His name was Pat Tillman.
One thing the boys from the war college don’t seem to understand is how Muslims don’t live and think like garden variety Americans. They are not dumbed-down and hypnotized by TV. Nor romanced by smut and junk food. They don’t pop pills and worship at the temple of Mammon. And they don’t give a damn about what’s in style.
Muslims fear God. And God alone. Hence, there are few cowards among them. And hence the hounds of war are getting their asses handed to them in Afghanistan as I write. It is never an easy fight — besieging God’s people. Ask the men in blue at the First Battle of Bull Run. They said it would be over in one afternoon. They spoke too soon. An invading mercenary cannot fight like a man who is defending all he has and loves. I don’t care how much money you pay him.
Let us not forget the secular Marxist grumblers in Baluchistan who lend themselves fortuitously to CIA’s “make a terrorist” drive. Exploiting sectarian unrest for one’s own agenda has ever been the hallmark of CIA. So they stir up all the divisive hate and discontent they can in Baluchistan between Marxist and Muslim — and have a field day.
Add to such wheelings and dealings any installations of grinning poser puppets like the ones presently holding office in Pakistan, Afghanistan and in our White House — then you have the rest of the story.

ADL’S TWISTED HATE CRIMES DEFINITIONS: A DICTIONARY

Yellow plastic arches looming above streets from Taiwan to Tripoli mean McDonald’s USA. In the same way, identical terms in hate laws throughout the Western world are the logo of their architect: the Jewish Anti-Defamation League. ADL recently boasted of having masterminded the whole idea of hate laws, particularly in America.
ADL was privileged to lead a broad coalition of civil rights, religious, educational, professional, law-enforcement, and civic organizations that worked in support of the HCPA [Hate Crimes Prevention Act] for more than a decade. A pioneer in advocating for hate crimes legislation, the League published its first model hate crimes statute almost 30 years ago. Forty-five states and the District of Columbia have enacted laws based on or similar to the ADL model. (“ADL Welcomes First Indictments under Federal Hate Crimes Prevention Act,” adl.org)
Hate laws set up Christians and free thinkers for prosecution, making free speech into hate speech. To understand and combat hate laws, lovers of freedom must be able to recognize the twisted terms that show up in all hate crime educational materials and legislation. Virtually none mean what they suggest or promise. They are cleverly contrived to disempower Western majority populations’ Christian values; to fragment society into separate groups with different legal privileges and punishments; and to silence critical speech about sexual morality and minority religions. In short, there is no legislative tool more powerfully equipped to destroy Christian civilization today.
Here is a concise dictionary of the devious “doublespeak†ADL weaves into hate laws worldwide.
Affirmative Action – Unequal rights and advantages in employment and education given to ethnic minorities and women as a result of the Civil Rights Act of 1964. Ostensibly meant to right historical wrongs, affirmative action undermines Christian society by moving it away from laws for individuals to laws for groups. It says people are deserving because of the class they belong to, not what they do. This inherently discriminatory principle continues to drive “civil rights” legislation today, especially in favor of blacks, Latinos, and women.
Anti-Semitism – To ADL, this term is not limited to belief that Jews are evil or deserve to die. It refers to: mere criticism of matters Jewish, including Jewish dominance of big media (See, Jews Confirm Big Media is Jewish), finance, and Congress; criticism of Israel; questioning the accuracy of the six-million figure of Holocaust Jewish dead; agreement with the New Testament claim that Jews masterminded the crucifixion of Christ; quotation of unflattering statements by Jews.
Attack on Israel – Any strong criticism, even if constructive or well-intentioned, of the Jewish state.
Bias (includes Bigotry and Prejudice) – Negative attitudesâ€â€primarily rooted in Biblical valuesâ€â€that are critical of homosexuality, Judaism, Islam, abortion, political liberalism, and other anti-Christian establishments that ADL believes it is wrong to oppose.
Bias-Motivated Crime (Hate Crime) – Any violation of US law motivated by a politically incorrect bias such as “homophobia;†such a crime deserves triple penalties compared to the same crime committed for a random or more personal reason. (In many countries mere public criticism of federally protected groups is also a hate crime.)
Blood Charge – The “anti-Semitic†New Testament statement that Jewish leaders masterminded and the Jewish population demanded the crucifixion of Christ. This is defined as the seminal cause of anti-Semitism over the past 2,000 years, leading to the Holocaust. It is defined as a source of continuous “anti-Semitism†and “irrational hatred†of Jews by Christians, making Christian countries inherently unsafe, violence-prone, irrational and racist.
Bullying – Criticism of homosexuality, Judaism, Jews or Israel, Islam, or minorities (other than whites or Christians) on campus, especially when it causes emotional discomfort to students who are part of such groups. Cyber-bullying – The same, only online.
Censorship – Attempts by Christian parents and leadership groups to restrain ADL/liberal promotion of homosexuality, pornography, sex education and secularist “respect for diversity†in public schools. (This term, of course, does not refer to ADL’s right to silence any form of Christian speech or of criticism of Israel on campus or online.)
Civility – ADL-suggested restraint in public criticism of President Obama and Democrats in Congress.
Civil Rights – Special rights and privileges in employment and housing given to blacks, Jews, Muslims, Hispanics, homosexuals/transgenders and womenâ€â€not afforded to white, straight males or anyone with politically incorrect “biases.â€Â
Civil Rights Act of 1964 – Basis for all US federal hate crimes legislation. Exalts certain favored groups above majority. Opens door for yet more classes to acquire such preference.
Conspirators – Millions of Americans, particularly Tea Party activists, who are intent on defeating Pres. Obama’s agenda and unseating Democrats in government through vehement criticism. (See, ADL Blasts ‘Paranoid’ Right)
Cyber Hate – Criticism of matters Jewish or of Israel online; quoting Bible passages against homosexuality online; distributing photographic evidence of abortion procedures online; etc.
Delegitimization of Israel – “Anti-Semitic†Biblical claim that God abhors occupation of His Holy Land by a nation of disobedient Jews (See, Israel: On the Way to Empire in the Mideast); “terrorist†claim that Israel acquired most of Palestine through violent theft and expropriation of 800,000 Arabs to concentrations camps; demand that dispossessed Palestinians be allowed to return and reoccupy stolen lands; statement that Israel at present is a racist and fundamentally unjust state which should be dismantled and replaced by a state equally participated in by Jews, Muslims, and Christians, all of whom are beneficiaries of its Abrahamic legacy.
Domestic (homegrown) Terrorists – (According to ADL/SPLC’s MIAC directives to police) Not just Muslim saboteurs but U.S. “anti-government” protesters, including supporters of Ron Paul and Chuck Baldwin, members of the Constitution Party, “militia” activists, “white supremacists,” proponents of a Constitutional Convention, “militant” opponents of abortion, and opponents of illegal immigration and the New World Order, NAFTA, federalization of the states, restrictive gun laws, and confiscatory taxation. Discrimination – In public schools, criticism of homosexuality, Judaism and Israel, Islam, etc. In business, refusal to hire a known homosexual or firing him or her because of their sexual activity. In housing, refusal to sell or rent to any of the above.
Diversity – Participation in a non-Christian sexual behavior or religion. Membership in a sexual, ethnic or religious group outside the white Christian majority. Respect for diversity — Acceptance of such divergent groups or lifestyles, particularly of homosexuality.
Equality (as promised in hate crimes bills) – Special rights and privileges for Jews, blacks, Latinos, women and homosexuals, with no such rights implied for the majority.
Gender Identity – The sex one perceives oneself to be, regardless of designated sex at birth; this gender identity should be respected by society and determines where a person should go to the bathroom, whom they can marry, and how they should be treated. If a person’s biological gender is different from their gender identity, society is responsible to ignore it.
Genocide – In a Jewish context, genocide can happen through delegitimization of the Jewish state and also through Christian conversion of Jews which kills Jewish souls.
Hate – Bias or criticism against specially protected groups.
Hate Crimes Statistics – Reports by police of alleged hate crimes, the great majority of which have never been adjudicated in court, most consisting of altercations and name-calling yet considered actual hate crimes by police and government and used as proof of an “epidemic of hate” in America and the world.
Hate Speech – Speech critical of protected groups, which should not be protected under the First Amendment; a form of psychological abuse of a persecuted community which government must end, even at the cost of others’ freedom.
Harassment (Intimidation) – Public criticism of protected groups (especially in government and public education); even if not accompanied by any threat of physical violence, such criticism of historically oppressed groups creates feelings of fear and intimidation and therefore must be outlawed and ended.
Hate-free environment – Public spaces, especially college campuses, where criticism of protected groups is not tolerated; in these spaces, it is unacceptable to speak against abortion (thus traumatizing post-abortive women), minority religions (upsetting their adherents), homosexuality (causing “mental anguish” to homosexuals), or other “historically marginalized†groups. The consciences, religious beliefs, and free speech of the white, Christian majority are not as important as the freedom from hurt feelings (and the lurking threat of violence) for minorities. Eventually, all of society should be a “hate-free environment.â€Â
Holocaust – The indisputable fact that six million Jews were killed during World War II. Any questioning of this fact is evil and defames the memory of Jewish dead. Such Holocaust denial is an “anti-Semitic†hate crime worthy of loss of freedom and civil rights, deportation and imprisonment for more than six years.
Homophobia – Criticism of homosexuality.
Perceived Gender or Ethnicity – How others view you, regardless of how you view yourself, in regard to gender or ethnicity. Even if the bias-motivated attacker incorrectly perceives the victim’s gender or ethnicity, he must be punished as a hate criminal with triple penalties. The real crime is having biased thoughts.
Persecution of Jews – Vicious, primarily Christianity-incited verbal, social, and physical attacks on Jews for nearly 2,000 years, the ultimate hate crime.
Proselytization – Christian attempts through evangelism to destroy Jewish souls and cultural/ethnic identity. Successful proselytization leads to belief in the false prophet Jesus.
Racial profiling – Consideration by police (resulting in action) of the fact that members of certain specially protected groups (such as blacks) have a much higher rate of crime per capita than the majority population or may be illegal aliens (Latinos).
Racial Quotas – Government requirements that businesses, education institutions, government agencies, etc., prefer members of favored groups with hiring and admissions advantages, fulfilling prescribed numbers.
Racists – Individuals, particularly in white Christian culture, who advocate the superiority of white Christian civilization and morality. Zionism and the State of Israel, however, reflecting the exalted ethics of Judaism, do not exemplify such bigotry.
Religion (As Protected by Hate Laws) – Judaism and Islam, as minority religions in America, are protected while Christianity, a historically overgrown and persecutive religion, is not.
Sexual Orientation – Homosexuality and sexual deviancies which merit special hate crimes protection. Heterosexuality, preferred by the majority, is granted no protection.
Stereotypes – Broad, negative descriptions of blacks, Jews, Latinos, homosexuals or Judaism and Islam. It is permitted, however, for ADL to make sweeping negative generalizations against critics of Israel, portraying them as “anti-Semitic,†or against Christians, calling them homophobic, intolerant, bigoted, hateful, etc.
Tolerance – Non-criticism of Judaism, homosexuality or Islam.
Targeted Groups – Classes meriting special federal protection from verbal or physical “hate crime†attacks.
Transgender – A person who has had or merely intends biological sex change; anyone involved in gender-crossing or gender-bending requires special consideration by society and must be treated as a member of the gender with which they currently identify, regardless of whether it aligns with their biology or with their past or future gender identity.
Triple Penalties – The standard level of punishment merited by a hate crime under hate crimes law. Implication: A bias-motivated assault is three times as bad as a conventional assault.
Violent Radicalization – Becoming violent under influence of bias, particularly cyber-hate.
Xenophobia – Fear and mistrust, particularly by the white majority, of vastly disproportionate numbers of historically alien people which ADL encourages to settle in host countries, increasing “diversity” and diluting those cultures.
Zero Tolerance for Hate – Acceptance of free speech rights of homosexuals and religious minorities on campus but not for the rights of “homophobic†or Christian critics.
Summary
It is very clear that ADL hate lawsâ€â€ostensibly meant to end biasâ€â€are themselves the epitome of bias. Virtually nothing ADL says, in public statements or the hate crimes legislation it writes, can be taken at face value. A manipulative, anti-Christian, anti-America agenda is always right below the surface. At this moment, the most glaring example of such duplicity is ADL’s bill HR 6216 which seeks to add “religion†to the protected classes in the Civil Rights Act. In this bill, ADL has no intention of giving special rights and protection to all religions from bullying on tax-supported American campuses, but only to “harassed minorities:†Judaism and Islam. (We wish to point out that no religion should receive this twisted “protection†from criticism; we would oppose this legislation even if it gave special protection to Christians above the rights of atheists.)

Preface: Recently an associate, still struggling with the bigger picture of what “Israel” and political Zionism actually represent, sent me an article by an American writer, Howard Galganov. Her motive in doing so was to try and weaken my resolve on the issue of political Zionism and Palestine and persuade me to see the current state of Israel’s policies from her and Howard’s flawed and premature perspective. After reading Howard’s “in your face” piece of blustering Zionist propaganda I decided to respond to its contents. What you see in the article below therefore is a line by line deconstruction of Galganov’s pro-Zionist, pro-”Israel” editorial. Throughout the essay I surround the word “Israel” with double quotes to indicate that I do not recognize this false state as a viable and legitimate member of the world’s nations.

I AM ISRAEL
To all those who worry most about Obama’s quest to “deal†with Israel, Obama is not to be as feared as many dread, simply because Obama is not Israel.
LDH (Lame Duck Howard): “I was RE-BORN after an exile of 2,000 years, because I am Israel.”
Howard, you’re dead wrong in titling your editorial “I AM ISRAEL“. You definitely ain’t Israel. What you are is just another lame duck Zionist hack attempting to bamboozle the gullible goi with deliberate, confusing subterfuges and insufferable obfuscations all designed to thwart a clear understanding of the true nature of the Beast that you and your ilk perceive as the new Jewish Messiah. I will outline these accusations for you in my critique below. In doing so it’s hoped that readers will see through the deceptive rhetoric and the real purpose for your pathetic attempt to conceal the facts about “Israel”.
You start off (in stereotypical Zionist form) with a massive lie then follow through with more of the same intensity and end on a similar note giving your readers nothing beyond a short cacophonous symphony of contemptible lies that culminates in a crescendo of cunning, annoying noise all designed to further the illusion that the premise of your present existence is valid and true.
I don’t disagree with you saying that you were “re-born”; most, if not all of us, were re-born. Some are re-born on a daily basis even. The fact that we were born even once is just as miraculous as being born twice and so as we near the grand finale in this round of the cosmic dance many of us have returned to bear witness to these times and learn from the coming revelation and the imminent demise of Zionism.
In your case though Howard I think you may have emerged again from the Great Mystery, not because you are “Israel” and can therefore legitimately lay claim such a title but likely to learn a harsh lesson that you refused to heed in your past incarnations. You aren’t the true Israel because the entity that you’re now attempting to pawn off to the public as the real thing is, in truth, but a vile and deceptive shadow of the real thing; a by-product of the finite minds of those Pharasaic Talmudic rabbis of old who first conjured up the sacrilegious concept of man as the center and seed of all Creation.
I will grant you the fact though (based upon your conceit and your cocksureness and level of maturity), that you may have been suspended in some Talmudic bardo plane hell for the past two thousand years, frozen in time like some forlorn Vonnegut character. Your attitude is strikingly similar in many respects to those ancient Pharisaic sorcerers of Old Testament days.

They brew poison and cook disease. Manufacture bombs. Rape children in snuff films. Slaughter race horses for spite. Pit dogs, cocks and soldiers against each other. Then watch the fight.
They instigate wars under your noses and blame it on their enemies  who are always the good guys. They have to be. Anybody in their cross-hairs deserves to be your best friend. Rule of thumb.
They rape and torture nuns. Of course they will torture confessions out of Muslims and call them terrorists to keep the wars going.
They are the architects of strife. Pitting women against men. Blacks against whites. Southern States against Northern States. Homosexuals against heterosexuals. But they always stick together like a tightly-woven rug, working in unison across all borders, speaking every language. Knowing every road. Sitting like trolls at every bridge. Guarding every bottle-neck and gate.
They are the swindlers, hackers, name-changers, tricksters, calumniators, assassins, show trial lawyers, pornographers, drug traffickers, the slave fleet owners of history, trafficking slaves both black and white. They are the slum lords, foreclosure lawyers, the perverters of vegetation  destroyers of the seed so that cultivation of future food is in their control.
With bulldozers they uproot orchards. They are bribery and extortion. Blackmail. The string-pullers of corrupt governments, propaganda mills and publishing houses that keep the truth out of print.
They fabricate authors and write composite yarns aimed at the middle class. Their goal is to distract, confuse, discredit and muddle. Inundation and exclamation (!!!!!) are their hallmark. They cannot resist bragging.
Their signature appears on decoys and propaganda to divert the masses from low-orbit surveillance, un-manned warfare systems, psychotropic drugs, amnesiacs, witchcraft, hypnotism, and other items of concern. Many of which are being used tactically at the moment. It’s not a gremlin. There “is†a ghost in your machine. That’s where witchcraft enters computer systems. Not that bigga stretch, energy-wise.
Why do you think they are trying to get the Book of Revelation outlawed as “hate speech?â€Â Two verses will shed big light on that. See Rev. 2:9 and Rev. 3:9.

Read the Bible and the Qur’an. It’s all in there, man.

So you thought the Jews were just another clannish and ethnocentric group interested in preserving their religious and cultural traditions. You believed the Jews when they told you that they only wanted to live and let live. You took them at their word when they said they were only desirous of a country where they could reside free of persecution. You didn’t think twice when they larded up their pronouncements with lots of inclusiveness and out-group words of good will. You believed the scholars who pinned all the blame for anti-Jewish persecution, pogroms, expulsions and genocide on those people who were not Jewish. You thought it not unseemly that these same Jews were a bit touchy when it came to their history and their preoccupation with Holocaust dramatizations. Boy, were you ever wrong.
You knew your country was sick, didn’t you? Yes, you did. You can feel this sick degeneration down deep in your bones. It was a sixth sense you had. It spoke to you like a still small voice and it whispered ever so softly. It told you that the foundations were crumbling and the buffering institutions were being eroded. But you wanted to call it something else. You ranted about “liberalismâ€Â, “big governmentâ€Â, “high taxesâ€Â, “overregulation†and how bad those Democrats were. Perhaps you attended a few Tea Parties and whined to your friends about the dangers and wickedness of an Obama administration. You might have even dropped a few dollars in the coffers of yet another “conservative†group, thinking you were doing your due diligence. Sarah Palin is probably your girl in 2012. Her shallow rhetoric and inane sound bites did not dissuade you one bit. You, a solid red state flag-waving “patriot†probably cheered the war in Iraq even as the pseudo-mission became more and more opaque and fuzzy. This didn’t stop you from sending your precious son or daughter to “fight for democracy and freedom†and kill more Muslim people all for the nebulous pronouncements of War Party bureaucrats who knew nothing about Sherman tanks, but spent most of their time in think tanks.
When your child came home from college or university mocking the religious beliefs you taught them since their birth and began spouting rehearsed bromides against the evils of white European culture, you blamed “liberal professors.†When your offspring waxed pretty about alternative lifestyles, the merits of homosexuality and the open-minded beauty of bi-curious pursuits, you blamed those damn liberals and Communists. You were half right, which still means that you were also half wrong too. You didn’t look any deeper, did you? You asked shallow questions and you got shallow answers. What did you expect?
Now, as you glance about you and see very few Americans flying American flags (they are almost non-existent in my community), you are chagrined. Like you, many of our citizens know that a sick force has seized our government and our institutions. You know something is awry. But that’s all you know. You, even more than a liberal or a progressive, believe what the controlled, so-called “conservative†media tells you. You don’t ask questions. You are a “controlled opponent†and don’t even know it. You parrot the tired rehashed lines of a Glenn Beck, a Rush Limbaugh or (god forbid) a Sean Hannity. These folks talk about the symptoms all day long, but they want to leave the causes untouched.

[Editor's Note: This interview with Gilad Atzmon, undoubtedly, is one of the best examples I have read of an explanation for why the so-called "Left" here in the West has lost its relevancy in terms of the greater, burning question of global, moral outrage and dissatisfaction with both the state of Israel and its fundamental, supportive ideology known as political Zionism.
It identifies Marxism for what it truly is: a Zionist/Talmudic/Jewish concept based on a disbelief in God coupled with a supremacist attitude toward others who do not fit the cold, Marxist calculations of what defines a family, a community and a nation and also what is relevant to others in terms of their innate spiritual beliefs and/or consciousness of good and evil.
Gilad's clear, frank and unambiguous responses to Miriam Cotton's assumptions about Zionism and the Left were, for me, a joy to read. They acted like a cleanser, wiping away the grime that both smothers and conceals the seemingly endless discourse and rhetoric which inevitably composes the Marxist dialectic.
This interview is indeed a welcome response to these liberal assertions that the Left espouses under the guise of being humanists and ought to be seriously read and seriously promoted online in order to assist others who are still struggling with this divisive and essentially moral, ethic and spiritual Marxist conundrum that continues to plague humankind's ability to live in peace and harmony and understanding.]

Discussion with Gilad Atzmon by Miriam Cotton

Gilad Atzmon is a world renowned saxophonist and musician with a deep political passion for humanist issues and concern for the fate of the Palestinian people. He has written extensively about the issue and been published widely. As a self-exiled, former Jewish Israeli and IDF soldier, Atzmon’s perspective within the raging public discourse on Palestine is relatively unique. His views are bitterly opposed by some among anti-Zionist Jewish groups, who accuse him of anti-Semitism and of being a ‘self-hater’.
Atzmon fiercely resists the charge of anti-Semitism and insists that he is concerned with a proper and thorough examination of the ideology of what it is to be Jewish – in particular about how the notion of the Jews as ‘a chosen people’ has led, as he sees it, inexorably to the rise of Zionism and its present disproportionate influence on world affairs.
Atzmon also takes issue with the Western Left which he believes has failed either to recognize the true extent of Zionist influence (he singles Noam Chomsky out for criticism) and of not understanding how western Marxist/socialist ideologies are incompatible with Islamic societies and therefore can be of no use to them.  These and other issues are discussed with him below. There are many things in what Atzmon says below that beg further question and comment but hopefully the exchange has served to illustrate his interpretation of the Palestinian situation and to provide an insight on a less frequently aired or understood perspective.

MC: Following the murder and kidnap of unarmed aid activists in international waters by Israel, General Petraeus has said the situation [in Gaza] is no longer sustainable. Though he was in no sense condemning what Israel had done, do you think there may be a beginning of an end to unconditional US support for Israel?
GA: It is actually the other way around. It is Israel that ditches America. Israeli leadership realises that with America in the background the Jewish state won’t be able to pursue its next two lethal plans: Nakaba 2 and dismantling Iranian nuclear capacity. Israel realises that if it wants to maintain its Jews only state as a regional power, it must ethnically cleanse the rest of the Palestinians. Israel is also convinced that its only chance of surviving in the region is if it maintains a nuclear hegemony. The USA makes things difficult for the Jewish State at the moment; it tries to slow Israel down. I believe that it is Israel that is leading the conflict rather than being subject to it.
MC: But surely that assessment overlooks some important factors. Nobody can seriously doubt that the US obsession with the region is entirely to do with oil, gas and geo-strategic matters such as Russian and Chinese proximity to these resources, in particular.
GA: This is a good way to put it. However you may also wonder what American interests are, who defines these interests and who shapes them. As it happens, AIPAC (American Israeli Public Affairs Committee) has been pretty effective in shaping American interests; we also know that the Wolfowitz doctrine made it into Bush’s doctrine. For the last three decades Americans failed to see the clear discrepancy between cheap oil and alliance with Israel. They might start to understand it now.
MC:  But the Bush family was/is an oil dynasty too – with ties to as many if not more Arabic vested interests as to the Israelis – there are many more non-AIPAC, US vested interests like these than are in AIPAC. Everything the US has done there since the beginning of its so-called ‘war on terror’ – and long beforehand – has been aimed at securing the Middle East and about energy and other resources.
GA: This is all true. It is also true that AIPAC won’t necessarily interfere with unrelated political matters unless it involves Zionist, Israeli or Jewish interests. However, the Jewish lobby in America and in the UK has managed to shape the English speaking Empire’s vision of its needs and interests. From an American perspective, instead of admitting that American soldiers were actually sent to fight war for Israel, they were told instead that they were sent to die in the name of moral interventionism and democracy. They were actually told that they were ‘liberating the Iraqi people’. How wonderful! The oil and Israeli interests were presented as side issues. As we know, oil prices didn’t drop after 2003. And yet, Sadam Hussein, the bitterest enemy of Israel was removed. In the long run this plan didn’t work for Israel either. Iran had become the unchallenged Muslim leading power. Inshalah it also becomes a nuclear super power soon. This would obviously deter the Israelis from accomplishing its endless imperial aspirations.
MC: There is no other country in the Middle East in which the US and its allies could position the vast military threat that Israel has been made into if they are to achieve their ambitions for the region. The realisation of Zionist ambitions for Israel was and still is a secondary consideration for the US, despite the relatively powerful Israeli lobby.
GA: I am not so sure at all. I actually think that the Zionist Lobby has managed to destroy the American empire. I argue that the Credit Crunch is in fact a Zio-Punch. I argue that Greenspan created an economy boom to divert attention from Wolfowitz’ wars.  The Zionists in fact have managed to bring down every super power they cling to. Britain, France and now America. You have to allow yourself to admit that the ‘War on Terror’ was actually a Zionist led war against Islam, a battle that was there to serve Israeli interests.
MC: Israel has been funded and encouraged to develop a nuclear arsenal of several hundred warheads, while the Iranians who do not even have one, but who control a lot of oil, are deemed to be a threat to world peace. Frankly, in these circumstances the Iranians and others would be justified in thinking they need some means of defending themselves against the only real threat at present- and against those who are in fact being the most provocative as well as doing the vast majority of the killing: US-Israel.
GA: This is indeed a very valid point. From an Iranian perspective, nuclear military capacity is a defensive means. The Iranians are constantly under a nuclear threat and so are the rest of the countries in the region and beyond.
MC: Britain and America don’t fight any wars that they don’t want to fight – not even justifiable wars, unless there is a percentage in it for them.
GA: Are you sure about this, or is that something we all prefer to believe? As it happens both in Britain and America the political parties are funded heavily by Jewish pro Israeli lobbies. Haim Saban, the multi-billionaire Israeli fund raiser for the American Democratic Party said last year that the best way to influence America is through political funding, the media and think tanks. There you go. Even the vision of ‘American interests’ can be no more than false interests when they have been manipulated into an alignment with what are really Israeli interests. At the end of the day, it is far cheaper to by a western politician than buying a tank. It is far cheaper to recruit a ‘new friend of Israel’ than flying an F15 for one hour.
MC: Israel is essentially a creation of the British and other European powers – and the oil was firmly at the front of their minds even way back then.
GA: This is another myth that people like Chomsky want us to believe in. In fact the Balfour Declaration was there to pull America into the war. It was there to push Jewish German and Russian bankers to change their allegiance from Germany to Britain so they could fund the new American war. Amos Alon presents an embarrassing chapter in Jewish history in his monumental book The Pity of It All. In fact it worked for the British. Two months after the Declaration, America was in the war. This wasn’t about oil. It was another war funded by a Jewish political lobby.

From the first line of The Holy Qur’an I was gripped by the acerbic Voice of superhuman rank – words smote me from a General Officer in God’s Army who had no time for pleasantries or political correctitude. He knew my guts. He knew my soul. Turn the page.
I couldn’t put it down, The Qur’an. I’m only sorry that I have waited this long to read another of God’s great books. A fiercely-written manual of operations. Orders from the top.   No minced words. No split hairs. Just a rapid succession of clarion blasts from the High Ground that blow anti-Muslim propaganda out of the water.
The clarity of Gabriel’s message is 20/20 acuity on a sunny day.
There is no ambiguity, contradiction, double-talk or gibberish in the pure and literal translations of the Qur’an. For such roads to Chicago, you can go to the Thompson Chain-Reference Bible (Fifth Improved Edition) published by B.B. Kirkbride Bible Company. What a rip-off. They advertise this “Bible†as a large print version. That is a lie. I have a standard print version of the text that is twice the size of the font in Thompson’s “large letter†version. Thompson’s dead wood is a falsely-advertised tome of reference gibberish designed to discourage Bible reading. This cumbersome load of wearying twaddle boasts 80+% of superfluous microscopic print that smothers the King James text. God’s Word is reduced to 50% of each page, flanked by distracting margin notes (forked roads to nowhere leading the reader away from the text and dropping him off down a dirt road). What a burdensome load of wasted paper, this thing. They made sure to weigh you down with useless words and the dead wood they are written on. Most of this text is a burden to the mind and body. They want to make sure that you will only pick it up once.
Gabriel has a few words for the B.B. Kirkbride Corporation and all those with whom they have set up partners. His pert words can be found in The Holy Qur’an. Read them, o’ Biblica, and be afraid. They were written for you expressly. Compliments of God Almighty.  Known to the Muslims as Allah. Jesus called Him, “The Father who sent me.â€Â
Throughout the text of The Holy Qur’an, one is overwhelmed by hurricane-force, minimalist eloquence. Gabriel explicitly points out how his message is written to be clear and direct. He uses few words with high impact, God’s hallmark – always. The verses are lain out, boldly, clearly, bulletized, itemized. Bam, bam, bam. In tandem. The antithesis of Lucifer’s rambling deltas of rubbish.
The Qur’an is brazen, beautiful, forceful, over-powering. Wanted. Needed. Hungered-after. Any seeker stops here in his tracks, falls to his knees and knows that this is the Word of God. Gabriel pistol-whips you with it. He punches you in the kisser and knocks you off your feet. There’s nothing else you can say. You are breathless. Speechless. On your knees. Listening in humility and belief to his Voice.
Doubt me? Read it and find out. I dare you.
What Voice is that you ask? The brash Voice of a warrior angel, Mr. War College. That’s who. He of the tri-pinions. The Messenger of the Annunciation. Force Multiplied beyond anything you guys can envision for 2025. The Voice of Archangel. One to reckon with Mr. Battle Ax, God’s Business End. Is he your foe? Or is he your friend?
Better check that IFF.
Throughout the Qur’an, Gabriel speaks from the Collective. Often he uses the pronoun, “We†in reference to The Host to which he belongs. He speaks in a Commander fashion. Like a leading General who answers directly to God. A Voice that belts out The Law with punch, pluck, saucy wit and superhuman charisma. A chest jutting out firm against all Eternity. Woe unto the fool who dares to meet him on the field.
There is nothing in this brilliant book that demeans or demoralizes women. All that propaganda about how Islam abuses women based on the Qur’an is a lie. Her place in God’s design is clearly stated. But it is nothing that human anatomy has not already borne out. Fight city hall if you want to, lady, but Gabriel will only smirk. He knows who you are. And how God made you. You are by design, sister.
Gabriel says that God made the angels out of smokeless fire. And that they were not made in the image of women  “Why would God make angels like women who are no good in a fight?â€Â
Everyone should read this Book. Especially Christians. If every Christian read the Qur’an, they would never take up arms against a Muslim.   Because we’re on the same team.

A holy book is a manual of operations. Without it, we are a people rudderless. The King James is glorious high impact. Succinct. Lyrically-perfect. Untouchable. Like Gabriel’s Qur’an. Beyond the craft of man.
Other versions of the Bible seem to me like gradations of literary corruption. This was done so moderate Christians can be led astray over time. It is a gradual process, this negation of God’s Word, but I see that it proceeds without obstruction. Karl Marx can be proud of how today’s church is not so much a church as it is a social club and dating service.
There reigns supreme today a shadowy hive of linguists, writers and editors whose mission it is to castrate the Word of God. They have re-written the Christian Bible in convoluted, wearisome gibberish, loosely adhering to and sometimes altering the text. Their aim to me is a clear one  wear down Christians with bad writing to discourage them from consulting their Bibles. Casting them spiritually adrift has never been easier. Just give them a bunch of new world Bibles. This strategy softens up the lukewarm loam of today’s congregations. It lays open the furrows for the seeds of a new Sodom.
The writing in today’s “new and improved†version of the Bible is clear as mud to the literature scholar. I can imagine what it must read like to the average American. It burdens the mind to decipher all the new, “improved,†modern English that is purposefully anything but easy to understand. The Wizard’s new world Christians are good and confused. Now they are more easily molded to his impending regime as they tap their feet to his contagious, happy-go-lucky pop music and sing along with his vague, bland, politically correct lyrics.
Today’s Christians have no firm foundation text. Their manual for living has been contaminated by mumbo-jumbo. A demoralized, mentally-scattered population is more easily seized by an iron hand. A house divided cannot stand. Once they lose faith in their Divine Potter, they become easy putty for the Wizard.
There are many different versions of the Bible today. This is part of a master plan to divide and cripple Christ’s church from the inside. The Wizard blithely encourages his Christians to study their new world Bibles. He knows that they will get lost in the labyrinth of his meaningless jabberwocky. He inundates them with margin citations and weighs them down with footnotes. These footnotes are loaded with bogus decoys. He distracts their eyes with fine print, tiny letters and numbers in super and subscript, hoping this will further weary them. It mentally exhausts and frustrates any reader.
Bible readers today are bombarded with instructions, details and forked roads of “useful guidance†throughout their texts. The Wizard knows that most readers will thus give up on Bible-reading altogether  his express aim. Where knowledge is power, ignorance is a stumbling block. Without knowledge of God’s Word, Christians are only so by title.
Without knowledge of their Bibles, Christians are like a flock of sheep without a Good Shepherd. The Wizard is a timeless wolf seeking whom he may devour. Far be it from their preachers to preach it like Jesus did. Today’s sermon dares not offend the Wizard of the New World Order. What do you think got Jesus crucified after all  being politically correct?
It has been my finding that outside of the King James, one is not reading what the holy scribes intended. Part of the Wizard’s plan for Christendom is to infiltrate their Bible publishers, liberalize their Vatican, cool the passions of believers and render them into tolerant, easy-going cattle. The Wizard wants a peaceful, acquiescent herd that can be corralled and led without much struggle. An anxious animal does not bleed-out as fast. One gets the most out of one’s cattle if he keeps them calm and ignorant of their impending fate. By the time they smell the blood it will be too late.
The enemy of God has entered the churches via the Trojan horse of his “new, improved†versions of the Bible. Now the poor Christians are out in left field, buying the lies and distortions of false prophets and misleading, centrist pastors quoting from these horrendous new world translations.
The King James Bible is considered a great work of English Literature. As such we are familiar with its poetry. It is written that all poets channel their verses from external and higher intelligence. The seculars call this phenomenon “when a poet finds his muse.â€Â Some believers hold poetry to be the language, aye, the very signature of God. When the Almighty sends a message through the language of man, it comes in verses.
All beauty expressed in art comes from God. Whether a symphony, cathedral, song, sculpture or painting  if it’s any good, God had something to do with it. I theorize that this is why certain cultures and ethnicities cannot make “art.â€Â They are Godless. These are the people who invent “better†ways to make war. They cultivate diseases in petri-dishes and develop faster-killing poisons. One of them invented the nuclear bomb.
I have been studying assorted new translations of God’s Word and it reads like no such thing. What is being done to the Holy Scriptures today is corruption of the original text. Readers are at the mercy of a committee of translators  faceless, nameless mystery writers who take it upon themselves to undo the work of God-inspired monks. The translators, in my literary opinion, have thrown a monkey wrench into the Word of God. They have perverted it with double-talk and gibberish that turns around what a verse is saying. They strive to be gender-inclusive and politically correct. These Bible-manglers fail to realize that God is not politically correct.
The new-mangled Bibles read like the work of a Marxist think-tank. They are re-inventing a wheel that was never broken. The King James is a pleasurable read. There is nothing archaic or hard to understand about it. Conversely it is the clarity of the King James that threatens the Wizard. This Bible came along years after William Shakespeare wrote his plays. I don’t see them re-writing Hamlet or trying to improve on what Shakespeare wrote. Why then do they dare to improve on the Word of God?
The Bible re-writers are a global outfit. They read like the enemy of Christ who is working hard to dismantle His churches, confuse and divide his people and lay waste to the Holy Covenant between God and man. Hold fast to your King James Bibles my friends. God’s Word requires no footnotes.

According to the famous Israeli-born Jazz musician, Gilad Atzmon, “The ideology that carried out execution-style killings on the Gaza aid flotilla the ‘Mavi Marmara’ is the same ideology that carried out the massacres at Deir Yassin, Qibya, Sabra and Shatilla, Qana, Gaza, Jenin and the murder of Rachel Corrie  more than that it is the same ideology that killed Christ.” He continues: “there is no biological, racial or ethnic continuum between the ancient Israelites and the contemporary Israelis. The attack on the aid convoy is a continuum of the same ideology that killed Christ. Christ’s killing is a symbol of a brutal assault against goodness, in the same way the attack on the aid convoy was against humanity and compassion.” Speaking to Arab News after the deadly attack on the aid Flotilla where 9 peace activists were shot dead and around 50 injured Atzmon was scathing against Israel’s actions and demanded that it should be stripped of its UN membership.
Atzmon is a former Israeli soldier who now lives in London. He is not only a renowned author and writer but also a famous award-winning jazz musician. Described as a musical genius he has recorded with the likes of Robbie Williams, Sinead O Connor, Robert Wyatt, Paul McCartney, Tunisian singer Dhaffer Youssef and countless others.
With a strong presence on and off stage and a disarming smile, Atzmon has a huge following not only for his music but for being a unique thinker and philosopher.
Admired for his fearless stance against oppression, he is also at the forefront of a taboo discourse that many will not venture into out of fear of being branded anti-Semite; and that is the discourse on the Jewish identity, Zionism and Israel.
Because of this stance, he has been branded a “Jew self-hater.” Atzmon smiles: “in fact I correct them ‘I am not only a self-hater but a proud self-hater.’”
The accusations do not deter him as he is quite vocal about the self-hatred he feels for the Israeli part of him.

To stop further world conflicts, Atzmon believes that governments should confront Israel. He argues that unlike the last Labour government that indulged Israel to continue its brutal assaults, while its leaders Blair and Brown were honorary patrons of the Jewish National Fund UK, the new government has to take a stronger stand. “In order to end one of the most brutal occupations of Gaza we need to ban Israeli aircraft from British airspace, impose EU trade sanctions against Israel and strip Israel of its UN membership.” For Atzmon the tide is turning and humanity which is bound together by human ethics and morals need to stand together against Israel before it takes us to war with Iran which according to him “is its next step.â€Â

It’s for reasons such as these that “lobby groups” like B’nai Brith and the Canadian Jewish Congress here in Canada and in the USA the ADL (Anti Defamation League) ought to be outlawed and anyone who stridently objects to their dismantling should be sent to Gaza or the West Bank or Iraq or Afghanistan (preferably in areas saturated with depleted uranium) to do community service for the victims of Zionist aggression.
Federal NDP Leader Jack Layton, in making his monumentally ignorant comments about how the NDP would never “ever deny that Israel not only has a right to exist but a right to exist in secure borders in a safe context,” has exhibited his own vastly uniformed knowledge of how Israel actually is constituted and operates. He speaks about “secure borders” in total ignorance of the fact that Israel has no defined borders and never did (Israel is Rothschild is Zionism and their objective is a world without borders for the simple reason that they will control it all). He also speaks as if Israel has a defined and written constitution (which it doesn’t) and assumes that their ongoing “right” to steal land from the Arabs and call it their own is somehow clearly understood and beyond dispute. For a federal leader of one of Canada’s three major political parties to be so misinformed and outrightly stupid is a poignant illustration of just how deep and widespread this fable of Israel truly is.

Prime Minister Stephen Harper called on NDP MP Libby Davies to resign as her party’s deputy leader after she suggested Israel has been occupying territory since the country came into existence.
“Mr. Speaker, this is a fundamental denial of Israel’s right to exist,” Harper said in the House of Commons on Tuesday. “It repeats the kind of comments that were made by Helen Thomas on which she was forced to resign and the member of the NDP who said those should be forced to resign as well.”
Thomas was the veteran White House correspondent who resigned after saying Jews in Israel should “get the hell out of Palestine” and “go back to Poland, Germany, America and everywhere else.”
Liberal foreign affairs critic Bob Rae also denounced Davies’ comments.
“To deny the state of Israel’s right to exist and to propose an international campaign of boycotts, divestments and sanctions against a legitimate member of the world community for over 60 years is to reveal a level of hostility and ignorance that is truly breathtaking,” Rae said in a written statement.
In a media scrum later, Rae argued that Davies’ comments were not simply a slip of the tongue and called for her to step down as deputy leader.
Earlier this month, Davies was interviewed at a rally in Vancouver and asked if she believes the occupation in Israel began in 1948 or 1967. After hesitating, she answered:
“Forty-eight. I mean, it’s the longest occupation in the world. But I mean, I’m not going to argue numbers. It’s too long, right?” She went on to say, “I mean, this is the longest occupation in the world. People are suffering. I’ve been to the West Bank in Gaza twice so I’ve seen for myself what’s going on.”
The state of Israel was established in 1948.
In the video, Davies is also asked if she supports the international campaign of boycotts, divestments and sanctions against Israel (known as the BDS movement).
“I haven’t even actually gone that far. You gotta understand, I’m probably the strongest supporter in Parliament. There is virtually no information in the political arena or understanding about the BDS movement. People are actually afraid to speak out on this issue.… Elected people who are sympathetic are actually afraid to speak out,” Davies answers.
Later in the video, Davies says she personally supports the BDS movement, adding, however, that she’s not “someone who’s there” but is instead a Canadian politician demanding the Canadian government speak out more on the issues.
The interview was posted on YouTube.
Since her comments were made public, Davies has posted on her website a letter she sent to the editor of The Ottawa Citizen.
“My reference to the year 1948 as the beginning of the Israeli occupation of Palestinian territory was a serious and completely inadvertent error,” she wrote. “I apologize for this and regret any confusion it has caused. I have always supported a two-state solution to the ongoing Israeli-Palestinian conflict and have never questioned Israel’s right to exist and the Palestinians’ right to a viable state.”
NDP Leader Jack Layton defended Davies Tuesday.
“Libby Davies has apologized and did so immediately around the serious mistake about a date. She has never and our party has never, nor would we ever deny that Israel not only has a right to exist but a right to exist in secure borders in a safe context,” he said.
Layton added that the party does not support the BDS proposal.

RadicalPress.com editor and publisher Arthur Topham, in a short interview with Ben Ludwig, son of Wiebo Ludwig, on Saturday morning, January 9th, 2010 was informed that Wiebo Ludwig, contrary to reports in the mainstream media, has not been formally charged by the RCMP with “extortion” as reported in the msm on Friday, January 8th.
The RCMP have a time limit of 24 hours in which to lay formal charges and according to Ben Ludwig they didn’t do so. At the time of the conversation, Ben told Topham that his Mother, Mamie Ludwig, had gone to pick her husband up from the police station in Grande Prairie.
In a subsequent call only minutes after the interview Ben informed RadicalPress.com that his father was now safely home and the charges against him were not forthcoming.
Close to a decade has passed since the Radical Press last covered the grotesque tale of the harassment and victimization of the Ludwig Christian Community known as Trickle Creek farm as a reporter for the now defunct alternative newspaper, The Radical.
Editor’s note: It was in my January, 2001 edition of the newspaper that I ran a feature length article on the Ludwig story and manner in which the RCMP, the media and the vigilante groups in the area had acted throughout the course of the investigation leading up to the arrest, trial and subsequent imprisonment of Wiebo Ludwig. It’s not a pretty picture but a vivid example of how the state and its complicit media, aided and abetted by the corporate interests involved, conspire to create scapegoats out of decent, innocent people in order to cover up for their own ineptitude and crimes committed against the environment and people who become victims of industrial pollution and poisoning.
In the interests of telling the truth about Wiebo Ludwig and the Trickle Creek Christian Community I am again publishing this important article. It has never seen the light of day on the Internet prior to now. Please feel free to pass this document on to any interested party.

The Setting
There is a belief held by the native American Sioux people that at the beginning of each new cycle of Creation a buffalo is placed in the West in order to hold back the waters. With each passing year one hair falls out of the buffalo and with each passing Age one of the buffalo’s legs falls off. When all the hair and the four legs have fallen off the cycle will be complete and the waters will again rush in and signal the end. Strangely enough there is a similar belief contained within the Hindu mythology. What is also of interest is the fact that both the American Indian and the Hindu believe that in our present age the buffalo is now standing on only one leg and is pretty much bald.
To say therefore that we’re living in an apocalyptic period of increasing social injustice may soon prove to be an understatement. The longstanding notion that our hard-won democratic institutions are shielding us from foreign threat is no longer valid as we witness our emergence into the 21st Century and, along with it, an increasingly unprecedented and unabashed assault on our basic human rights and economic freedoms. What makes it striking though is not that it’s sources stem from international financial and corporate interests, but more importantly and much closer to home it seems, from within the very institutions of our own domestic governments; entities ostensibly created to prevent just such occurrences from ever manifesting.
Aided and abetted by megalithic media monopolies, domestic (and soon to be foreign U.N.) military and police units, and a select assortment of traitorous citizens who’ve succumbed to the overt financial pressures of greed and survival, thus making them willing pawns in the game of “power-over†those who resist their efforts, Canadian citizens are now finding themselves strangers in a strange land whenever and wherever they insist that justice be meted out in a fair and equable manner.
The ways and means of achieving such an overall, suppressive system of slavery is not new, only the tactics have changed due to the increased development and use of more sophisticated mind-control techniques, surveillance systems and high-tech gadgetry. Of fundamental importance to the successful completion of their nefarious plan though is the maintenance of a vehicle or medium for disseminating the Orwellian Newspeak that comprises the daily dispensation of media deceit called “news.â€Â
Legitimate dissent, it appears, has now become illegitimate – a bastard child of a once virgin system of justice and a naive and complacent populace no longer deemed expedient in a New World Order of corporate philistines out to conquer the globe. Peaceful protest is no longer considered an acceptable form of political expression by the corporate business sector, nor, as the following article will hopefully show, is it deemed such by our governments or our courts. Instead of having the rights and freedoms that are supposedly “guaranteed†under our suspect “Constitutionâ€Â, an increasing number of politically aware citizens are being subjected to a new, raw, unexpurgated version of growing police harassment and violence often attended by a treasonous and surreptitious forgery of fact by both media representatives and a lackey police force. Such overt behaviour is quickly becoming a growing threat to all who still believe in the principles of justice, liberty and freedom and the ensuing thought of a corporate-controlled government combined with a partial judiciary acting at the behest of financial interests, rather than a dedication to upholding the sovereignty of one law for all, is most abhorrent.
Still, for all the subterfuge within the mainstream media, the alternative, independent media is rife with growing reports of these sorts of terrorist tactics that western governments are inflicting upon their own citizens in order to quell dissent. A prime example of such corporate, police and government parole-perpetrated propaganda against protesters involves one of the leading figures within the environmental movement in Canada – the Reverend Wiebo Ludwig – along with the extended family who comprise the Christian Community known as Trickle Creek Farm located in the northwestern region of Alberta’s Peace River district near the towns of Hythe and Beaverlodge.
The community of Trickle Creek (numbering 35 at the moment) [Editor's note: This figure is likely much higher today ten years later.] has been carrying on a protracted and bitter struggle with the giant Alberta oil & gas industry over the poisoning of their air, water and soil for over a decade. Flaring of toxic gases from oil and gas wells that surround their farmlands became an urgent, life-threatening concern when the community suddenly began experiencing the negative effects that such practices were having on their unborn children and livestock. Mother’s were aborting or giving birth to abnormal, still-born babies and animals were dying and aborting. Children and adults began suffering from a litany of skin rashes and flu-like symptoms that eventually forced this peaceful, God-fearing community to seek out the cause of their ill-fortune. It didn’t take too long for them to realize what and who was responsible for their sickness but that in itself turned out to be only the first step in what later became a long and arduous battle to seek redress.

After years of struggling to have the problem of oil and gas pollution recognized as a legitimate threat to all life-forms and in dire need of stringent safety regulations, the bubble of blacked-out information finally burst when a growing wave of protest culminated in a series of attacks upon oil and gas installations in the areas affected by the toxic emissions. The RCMP ended up launching an investigation and in the process of attempting to come up with a suspect they themselves fell prey to using illegal means such as faking a phony explosion of a well-site in order to incite fear and uncertainty into a region where levels of paranoia were already rampant. The numbers of incidents of police collusion with the corporate oil and gas sector and governmental bodies associated with the Alberta government must unfortunately, because of space restraints, remain a separate issue for another time.
In the process of trying to expose the toxic practices of a obscenely bloated and arrogant oil industry that’s been habitually trampling over citizens’ rights for generations the members of Trickle Creek found themselves victims in new and wondrous ways. Some residents of the surrounding municipalities, consisting mainly of farmers and oil workers directly or indirectly dependent upon the oil and gas industry for their livelihood, turned on the Trickle Creek community with a vengeance. After the unfortunate shooting of Karman Willis during a trespassing incident in June of 1999, they formed an ad hoc group of self-appointed vigilantes who dubbed themselves the West County Concerned Citizens (WCCC) led by spokesman Brian Peterson. Once up this organization began a smear and disinformation campaign against the Ludwig and Boonsta families that is ongoing to this day. As one reads through the various assessments carried out by Corrections Canada after Wiebo Ludwig’s imprisonment, it becomes readily apparent that the negative effects of these smear tactics permeate much of what is accepted as truth and fact by the RCMP, the parole board, and the general public. All of this deception ultimately played a crucial role in prohibiting the early release of Wiebo Ludwig.
When Wiebo Ludwig and Richard Boonstra’s controversial trial ended both men were sentenced on April 26, 2000 to prison terms based on circumstantial evidence that they had participated in the blowing up of a Suncor oil well north of Hinton, Alberta. Richard Boonstra was given a short jail sentence but Wiebo Ludwig, pumped up by the prosecution, police and the media as the prime instigator of all the bombings, received a sentence of 2 years 4 months in federal prison. He is currently serving time in a minimum security jail known as the Grande Cache Institution located about a hundred miles north of Hinton, Alberta. I went to visit Wiebo Ludwig on Saturday, October 21 to discuss his situation, in particular, the refusal by Corrections Canada to allow him out on accelerated parole. While I was there I also met his wife Mamie Lou, two of their children and grandchildren and their close friends and in-laws Richard and Lois Boonstra.

During the course of our amicable meeting I was presented with a number of official documents and letters related to the subject of Wiebo’s parole. After returning home I read through the lengthy Intake and Community assessments that were recorded by Corrections Canada parole officers only to discover that they had been liberally seasoned with a large amount of police and “communityâ€Â  (read WCCC) input. Taken at face value the accusations contained in these documents portrayed a rather frightening picture of Wiebo Ludwig and the community of which he is a father, grandfather and spiritual Elder. Had I only these government documents as a reference it would have been virtually impossible to come up with a reasonable and unbiased sense of who Wiebo Ludwig really was. I say this in retrospect though because it was only after reading through the equally lengthy rebuttals to these government assessments, later submitted to the parole board by both the Reverend Ludwig and the rest of the resident members, that it became glaringly obvious that the Trickle Creek community was confronting yet another head on the Hydra of Corporate Globalization, this latest menace taking on the shape-shifting form of none other than Corrections Canada itself.
It’s not easy to perceive just how the parole board fashions its assessment data in order to achieve a preconceived agenda but it must be borne in mind that the mainstream press gets much of its information from police and parole officer reports and then adds its own sinister twist to the supposed “facts†that appear in official documents thus projecting an image to the general public that, upon closer examination, reveals an almost unbelievable bias toward the institutions and values of which it too is an integral part. In doing so the media becomes a willing agent, both complicit in and guilty of, forging lies and half-truths in order to assist its counter-parts in the global scheme for world domination.
The oil and gas industry wants Wiebo Ludwig in jail. The West County Concerned Citizens (known locally as the “WKKK†because of their overt, antagonistic actions against Trickle Creek) want Wiebo Ludwig in jail. The Alberta government, which draws its economic breath from out of the black, porous, subterranean lungs of oil and gas lying beneath its troubled landscape, also wants Wiebo Ludwig locked up and silent, a grim and sphinx-like reminder of what lies in store for those who dare to challenge an industry that feeds the voracious belly of an antiquated industrial system long overdue for radical change.
Once in the clutches of Correction Canada the agents of persecution aligned with the oil industry knew that it was essential to portray to the public and the parole board a picture of Wiebo Ludwig that was in keeping with the RCMP’s and the WCCC’s preconceived and concocted image of a man who they wanted the public to view as an egotistical, domineering, violent, sexist, tyrant. It therefore became necessary to paint such a picture into the framework of Corrections Canada’s bureaucrat assessment process. That is what was done using unsubstantiated allegations, half-truths, twisted logic, gossip and out and out lies. Once the maligning by parole assessors was complete, the media was given this distorted palate containing a potpourri of darkly-coloured images depicting a man wholly out of keeping with his basic persona. They then proceeded to use these false images with willing intent, malice and premeditated editorial malediction. That is what this article is all about: the subversion of truth for the sake of greed, power and injustice.

The Christians of Iraq have had it REAL BAD since 2003. They have had it as bad as the Arab Sunnis, this group that has seen its population dwindle in Baghdad alone from 45% to around 15 % due to ethnic cleansing, torture, arbitrary arrests, exile and targeted killings.
The number of Christians in Iraq has also dwindled to a mere 400,000 left. Many were killed, and a whole lot exiled… They have had their clergy assassinated, their churches bombed and have been excluded from important posts in the sectarian Shiite government put in place by none other than a so-called Christian superpower – the swamp of criminality and filth called America and not so great Britain.
There are virtually no Christians left in Iraq. They were the first inhabitants of this land and the first community of people to receive the message of Christ and embrace Christianity. The Chaldeans followed by the Assyrians are one of the most ancient Christians of the Middle East.
There are only a very few Christian families left in Southern Iraq, a handful in Baghdad, and those in the North, like the Nineveh province, where the majority of Chaldeans live, are being evicted from their homes, harassed daily, killed and pushed into exile.
Only yesterday, 2 churches in Mosul have been bombed again and the Archbishop of Mosul has not ceased sending out messages to the puppet government with “please save us”, “please protect us”….
Many Iraqi Christians lay the blame on the puppet sectarian government and on the Kurdish warlords for their plight. And rightly so.
The Christians of Iraq have never experienced a level of discrimination, harassment and violence like they have since 2003. It is truly unprecedented.
And each time I hear of one more attack against the Iraqi Christian community, my blood boils with rage and my heart breaks with more sadness… and in my mind the major culprit remains that piece of shit called America.
I am no longer into Christmas myself. I used to buy a tree and decorate it, visited family and friends, bought presents and sent cards… not anymore. The same applies to the Muslim Eid. All these festivities have become devoid of meaning for me. I go through the motions on each occasion but inside I feel nothing…
I feel nothing because there is no longer a sense of community, and even those of us in the diaspora of the mass exodus, are having a very tough time re-creating it. Our families are split apart, dispersed, some have been imprisoned, some tortured, some kidnapped, some in need, some killed… and around these “holiday” seasons, the sore wounds re-open, glaring us in the face…
Yet, as an act of defiance, my family insisted on having the traditional Christmas eve dinner. So I went along with it…I ate and watched TV. That was my Christmas eve.
I zapped and zapped to the annoyance of everyone else and stopped zapping when a whole mass ceremony was aired live from Iraq on Al-Sharqiya TV, who dedicated this whole evening to the Christians of Iraq. I was most pleased with this TV station for doing so.
I love listening to the liturgy in Arabic mixed in with some Aramaic. Mass usually puts me to sleep but not this kind of mass. I watched eagerly the faces of those seated. What they were wearing, their facial expressions, the look in their eyes, any sign for me to interpret…
The women had their best clothes on, most had their heads covered with a thin veil made of dentelle, and they sat separate from the men, on one aisle, while the men, mostly in suits, sat on the other…I noticed they were fewer men than women and the men all seemed to be either above 55 or below 20. In other words the age group of 20 to 50 were absent. I wondered what had happened to them…
It was a Chaldean mass. The bishop had to borrow St John the Baptist church from the Assyrian community to conduct this Christmas eve mass and it was in Erbil, Northern Iraq.
The commentator said that in Baghdad and Mosul, the Christians were keeping a low profile this Christmas, “out of respect for Ashurra”. Ashurra is the month that commemorates the killing of Imam Hussein and is considered by the Shiites as a month of grieving and “repentance”, accompanied by the traditional self flagellation….
Since when do the Christians of Iraq stop attending Christmas eve mass because of Ashurra ? This is unheard of before… Clearly, they feel threatened enough not to conduct mass on Christmas and in an act of self protection they have abstained from celebrating the birth of Christ.
The priest then gave a short sermon/speech, praying for all those who were killed, and all those who could not attend because they did not have the means to travel to Erbil, and all those who are not being employed because of their faith and all the students who have been kicked out of schools because of their faith…He prayed that Allah guides those responsible, he also said that Christmas is not about eating and drinking, and buying and celebrating, Christmas is about contemplating what Allah’s message to the world is all about with the virgin birth of Jesus.
The priest used the word ALLAH, and asked Allah to protect the Christians of Iraq, all believers and Iraq herself.
I am stressing on the fact that the priest used the word ALLAH, because a lot of westerners are totally ignorant about Arab Christians and their use of the language when it comes to God. They think ALLAH is only the God of the Muslims – which of course is absolute nonsense.
Listening to this mass and the sermon made me even sadder…
Memories rushed before my eyes, and I remembered my grandmother with her veil and rosary and my grandfather and many others…and I remembered our gatherings, the warmth, the joy…the meaning…the love.
I also remembered Tariq Aziz, the loyal, righteous, faithful, kind man who is still in an American jail in IRAQ, very ill, and now in his 70′s. I remembered him and his family in exile. And I don’t know if they read me or not…but if they do — know that I have not forgotten you.
And I felt the irony, the derision, the utter hypocrisy of the West…the Christian West who through its occupation crusade has totally devastated the first Christians of this world, the Christians of the East, the Christians of Iraq.
