Preface: Recently an associate, still struggling with the bigger picture of what “Israel” and political Zionism actually represent, sent me an article by an American writer, Howard Galganov. Her motive in doing so was to try and weaken my resolve on the issue of political Zionism and Palestine and persuade me to see the current state of Israel’s policies from her and Howard’s flawed and premature perspective. After reading Howard’s “in your face” piece of blustering Zionist propaganda I decided to respond to its contents. What you see in the article below therefore is a line by line deconstruction of Galganov’s pro-Zionist, pro-”Israel” editorial. Throughout the essay I surround the word “Israel” with double quotes to indicate that I do not recognize this false state as a viable and legitimate member of the world’s nations.

I AM ISRAEL

To all those who worry most about Obama’s quest to “deal” with Israel, Obama is not to be as feared as many dread, simply because Obama is not Israel.

LDH (Lame Duck Howard): “I was RE-BORN after an exile of 2,000 years, because I am Israel.”

Howard, you’re dead wrong in titling your editorial “I AM ISRAEL“.  You definitely ain’t Israel. What you are is just another lame duck Zionist hack attempting to bamboozle the gullible goi with deliberate, confusing subterfuges and insufferable obfuscations all designed to thwart a clear understanding of the true nature of the Beast that you and your ilk perceive as the new Jewish Messiah. I will outline these accusations for you in my critique below. In doing so it’s hoped that readers will see through the deceptive rhetoric and the real purpose for your pathetic attempt to conceal the facts about “Israel”.

You start off (in stereotypical Zionist form) with a massive lie then follow through with more of the same intensity and end on a similar note giving your readers nothing beyond a short cacophonous symphony of contemptible lies that culminates in a crescendo of cunning, annoying noise all designed to further the illusion that the premise of your present existence is valid and true.

I don’t disagree with you saying that you were “re-born”; most, if not all of us, were re-born. Some are re-born on a daily basis even. The fact that we were born even once is just as miraculous as being born twice and so as we near the grand finale in this round of the cosmic dance many of us have returned to bear witness to these times and learn from the coming revelation and the imminent demise of Zionism.

In your case though Howard I think you may have emerged again from the Great Mystery, not because you are “Israel” and can therefore legitimately lay claim such a title but likely to learn a harsh lesson that you refused to heed in your past incarnations. You aren’t the true Israel because the entity that you’re now attempting to pawn off to the public as the real thing is, in truth, but a vile and deceptive shadow of the real thing; a by-product of the finite minds of those Pharasaic Talmudic rabbis of old who first conjured up the sacrilegious concept of man as the center and seed of all Creation.

I will grant you the fact though (based upon your conceit and your cocksureness and level of maturity), that you may have been suspended in some Talmudic bardo plane hell for the past two thousand years, frozen in time like some forlorn Vonnegut character. Your attitude is strikingly similar in many respects to those ancient Pharisaic sorcerers of Old Testament days.

LDH: “I rose from the ashes of Hell on Earth we call the Holocaust, because I am Israel.”

I don’t think so Howard. Your current state of consciousness rose from the ashes of Hell period. You’re a product of the Babylonian Talmud; an after-effect of centuries of rabbinical mind-fucking, sophistry and perfidy. Your treachery knows no bounds and your principles (if one might call them such), forged as they were in the molten crucible of these wayward wizards of deceit give you a false sense of superiority. The exhibition on the world stage of your “Holocaust” circus show is proof positive of this fact.

You fail the test Howard (once again). You don’t apparently see the Machiavellian links between the Rothschilds, the Illuminati, the World Zionist Organization of Hertzl, B’nai Brith International, the Arab domains of Palestine, the Belfour Declaration, World Wars I and II and the end result – that Frankenstein of the Middle East you call “Israel.”

It’s not because you are some actual DNA remnant of those hoary tribal misfits from Judah who were booted forth from the Middle East because of their lying, destructive, murderous and tyrannical ways that you now believe you are “Israel.” Nope. Far from it. It’s because you’re a flawed piece of Talmudic machinery, likely raised up in the rabbinical traditions of your equally flawed forefathers, that you and your calculating cohorts churn out this daily deceptive junk product of Zionist propaganda in addition to the already abundant overload of lies that permeate your Jewish International Media Monopoly (aka JIMM).

LDH: “I clung to the earth of my promised land with flesh-torn-hands to reclaim what for thousands of years was always mine, because I am Israel.”

Alas, Howard, you’re wrong again. You clung to a false belief; a lie, branded into that “re-born” soul of yours by Zionist Talmudic inculcators, that somehow you are the rightful owner of that tiny piece of cosmic real estate known as Palestine, when, in fact, it was your Rothschild-inspired terrorist Urgun “elders” who, via stealth, collusion, blackmail and cold-blooded murder, stole the once good earth from the true and original inhabitants of that sandy section of somewhere you now attempt to convince others is rightfully yours.

It’s true that your hands and the hands of all Zionists are bloody Howard but the flesh that was torn away to release the metaphoric blood now dripping profusely from your claw-like keyboard consciousness, was the collective flesh of the Arab people, who, from the onset of the Rothschild quest to conquer the world, have become your sacrificial host.

LDH: “I opened my Jewish doors to Christians, Muslims and all others who yearned to live in religious FREEDOM, because I am Israel.”

Again, Howard, no cigar. The doors that you opened were doors illegally taken by force and terror from the original inhabitants of the good earth that your recent forefathers acquired by violence and sadistic torture in 1948.

The Babylonian Talmud, the ultimate reference point in this dimension for your professed “Jewish” philanthropy, doesn’t open doors for any of the goyim (cattle) religions. Quite the contrary. Your Talmudic traditions are anathema to any religious freedom for anyone who isn’t designated by the rabbis to be a “Jew.”

Have you studied your own “religious” works Howard? Are you aware of the venom and the hatred and the barbaric, mendacious attitudes toward others that infest your Talmudic teachings?

No, Howard, your “Israel” doesn’t open doors for anyone who isn’t a member of your tribal troupe of misguided malcontents. You slam doors in the face of those who try to encourage you to see the good in humanity as a whole; you lock and barricade the doors and hide away the keys that hold the Christians and Muslims captive to your demented, psychopathic ideology known as Zionism; you attack and murder and corner and brutalize and rape Christians and Muslims all the while professing some sort of sordid “religious” kinship with your victims that you spew forth via JIMM and your bought and paid for pulpit preachin’ pranksters like Jim Hagee, et al.

No, Howard! You fail the acid test for both honesty and integrity in making such serpentine statements. Your “Israel” will never bring “FREEDOM” of any sort to anyone, least of all the Jews. It’s not designed to. It’s a vehicle for creating disease, death, misery and slavery of every type for every person and every nation that doesn’t bow down in obeisance and kiss the hairy ass of the Rothschild criminal cartel now animating JIMM, US foreign and domestic policies, and similar national government policies throughout the world.

What you call “freedom” Howie is but a license for your “Israel” to commit the grossest crimes known to mankind and then twist them, via JIMM, into convoluted cords of contemptible and contiguous lies all the better to bind and deceive the minds of the unwary and innocent.

LDH: “I ask for nothing other than to be allowed to live in peace and security, so that my children can also grow and prosper under the Sun and Stars like all others, because I am Israel.”

Oi veh Howard! Such chutzpah! Such claptrap! Such Talmudic double-think! Statements such as this only confirm the fact that you regard all non-Zionists as a bunch of deluded shmucks.

Your feigned sentiments of “living in peace and security” are reminiscent of another of your Zionist ilk, Nahum Sokolow, author of History of Zionism: 1600 – 1918. In his Introduction to the 2-volume set, published in 1919, he voices similar flourishes of deceptive rhetoric while stating:

“Let humanity do for Palestine only a small part of what has been done so liberally for the most exotic colony – nay, less than that, because Zionists ask for no material support [U.S. taxpayers exempted of course], and for no embarrassing responsibility [like obeying international law and UN resolutions for example]. They ask only for sympathetic consideration and help, for recognition and protection. And let humanity be sure of the loyalty of a people which, although, sorely tried, has never grown cold in its affections, a people which by its resurrection will become again what it was in very ancient times, not a military power but a spiritual and peaceful power. Then the time will come when this people’s gratitude will recognize its indebtedness to the world for the co-operation which will assist its great and just cause.” [bold and brackets are mine. A.T.]

Because you think you are “Israel” Howard you feel that you can lie through your cyber teeth to everyone about all the shit that’s come down over the past century and more due to endless Zionist deception and terror and that the stupid goi will swallow whatever swill you and JIMM feed them. Well, this harbinger is here to tell you that the game’s up Howard. As Bob so succinctly said, “the times they are a’ changin.” Big time. Thanks to the Internet and its anarchist model of no centralized control, your dirty, stinking, blood-soaked laundry is now being hung out on the cyber line to air and the neighbours, to put it mildly, are not impressed with the foul stench that your “Israel” undergarments are emitting.

LDH: “I stand with but a few friends, who stand by me in a hostile world with whom I will stand forever, because I am Israel.”

Forever is a long, long time Howard and I doubt that for all your lavish display of lies that your “Israel” will withstand the test of time. Only that which is truthful and valid and honest and real and loving and nurturing has such resilience and longevity.

The world is “hostile” Howie because your “Israel” has made it so and your “few friends” are likely to become fewer yet as the months and years pass by and the nefariousness of your dastardly deeds, as witnessed by the world in the two most recent ones – the Rothschild’s British Petroleum poisoning of the world’s oceans via the Gulf of Mexico and the slaughter of innocents on the Gaza relief flotilla – come more and more to light.

LDH: “But I also know that in the end, I will be standing alone, because I’ve always stood alone, because I am Israel.”

No Howard you’ll end up standing alone because you’re basically a fragile, sick, dislocated and twisted mind suffering from delusion of grandeur and a self-imposed persecution complex brought on by centuries of  rabbinical brainwashing conjoined with the attendant restrictions of living within a rigid set of ghetto consciousness guidelines forged within your tortured soul by the precepts contained within the Babylonian Talmud.

You and your “Israel” have been fucking up in every nation that you’ve wormed your way into since Christ was a corporal and then using the “poor us, the self-chosen, the misunderstood and the persecuted” ruse all these centuries because you inevitably always get caught trying to undermine and destroy whatever host country you deceitfully inhabit. In other words Howard you stand alone because you behave like the proverbial asshole bigot to the rest of the world and you just can’t seem to get it through your thick head what everyone else inevitably is forced to conclude regarding your modus operandi.

LDH: “I live by the tenets of thousands of years of Biblical Covenant to do what is right, regardless of the cost and risk, not just because of the word of God, but more so because without a moral compass there is no direction, because I am Israel.”

Again Howard, pure balderdash and lies compounded with an all too liberal sprinkling of conceit. The so-called original “Covenant” wasn’t for a gang of thieves, terrorists, rapists, murderers and usurers such as are those who profess to be “Israel” today. If you truly think that you’ve been given some “god-given” right as “Israel” to hold the world hostage and mutilate and torture and pillage and extort the planet and its non-Jewish population, then I’m afraid that you’ll have a few more incarnations to go before the Light of truth finally dawns for you.

If you were truly a member of the original 12 tribes that comprised what, in the Bible, is called the true Israel then you would be obeying the one God and also the teachings of His Son, Jesus Christ, who taught LOVE AND PEACE AND BROTHERHOOD AND SISTERHOOD FOR ALL PEOPLE (not just the blatant, selfish aberrations of the self-chosen Ashkenazi hybrid “Jews” that you are attempting to hood-wink people into falling for).

As a purveyor of lies and deception for your “Israel” do you actually think you’re doing what is “right, regardless of the cost and risk”? At whose cost? At whose risk? Certainly not yours Howard.

Do you also believe that your “Israel” is setting a precedent for the world as THEE moral standard? My God man! give the rest of us a much needed break from your moralizing mania. Any GPS unit on the market today would clearly indicate that “Israel” is hopelessly lost and wandering about in a mentally and spiritually frenetic wasteland of its own making in search of its lost sense of self. Further denial of this fact may prove fatal for not only your lost tribe of psychopaths and its attendant sycophants but also for the world as a whole.

Is this your idea of joke Howard? Is this your concept of what constitutes “Israel’s” notion of “moral”?

LDH: “I pray every night to be accepted by those who wish me ill, even though I know my prayers will go unanswered, because I am Israel.”

Spare us the feigned, sanctimonious sniveling Howard. You damn well know deep down inside why your prayers to your god of war and deception go unanswered. It’s because you are worshiping at the foot of Mammon and Moloch the Destroyer; demons from the depths of the very Hell you now try to associate with your weasel tales concerning the supposed Jewish “6 Million Holocaust.”

Your self-chosen “god” is not the God of true Christians and Muslims; the one God of love and peace and true freedom. No Howard, your prays are being sent to the Devil himself whose earthly residence is the synagogue of Satan, deceiver of all who have turned their eyes from that which is good and pure and innocent and loving.

LDH: “I’ve begged to be accepted. I’ve surrendered territory won in bloody battles to be accepted. To be accepted, I’ve forcibly removed my own people from their homes as they cried with despair, because I am Israel.”

Good God man, is there no shame within you at all? Do you spout off this sort of rubbish on a regular basis? Do you actually believe yourself?

Begged? Surrendered? Forcible removed your own people? From what? The very lands that you stole from the Arab people of Palestine through clandestine and macabre blood sacrifices and torture and terrorism?

And why did you remove your fellow “Israelis” Howard? Not because you were returning those stolen lands to their rightful owners but because your Zionist plotters were planning on turning those vacated areas into pits of Hell and prisons where you could then sit back on your concrete ramparts and harass and shoot and bomb and burn and starve the inmates to death in a slow and definite process resembling, for once, a holocaust that truly is real?

Statements such as these Howard are the reason why, after reading them through, I quickly came to the logical conclusion that you must either be delusional or else at some point in your short life you got a good kick in the head from that horse you’re parading about on your website and you just don’t know any better. Either way, only a lame duck Zionist would have the bloody nerve to make such asinine statements as these.

LDH: “I rush to give aid in times of need during a Tsunami or a massive Earthquake, even to those who wish I did not exist, or wouldn’t lift a finger to help me in my hour of need, because I am Israel.”

Spare us Howard. A lame duck with crocodile tears dribbling down his face is too much of a mixed metaphor even for me.

LDH: “I warn the families of those who are trying to murder my family, when and where we will attack, so as not to harm those who are not directly engaged in our destruction, because I am Israel.”

Yes Howard I can see from the examples above that your Zionist killing machine goes to great lengths to ensure that the innocents are duly warned.

These and countless examples now on the books and on the web which refute this sort of psychosis Howard are too plentiful to argue or dispute. You’d be much better off if you just stated, “I warn the world that anyone who stands in the way of ‘Israel’s’ agenda for global hegemony and the creation of a New World Order totalitarian government will be murdered.” That’s the reality of “Israel” both today and since its inception so why make bones about it?

LDH: “I share with the world magnificent technologies, medical discoveries, and ways to feed those who without my help could not feed themselves, because I am Israel.”

Ugh! More self-serving praise from the self-chosen “saviors” of the world Howard?

Are you referring here to Oppenheimer’s creation of the atomic bomb that your Zionist Jew “advisers” had Truman drop on a defenseless population of sleeping Japanese citizens? Or possibly you’re thinking of all the Depleted Uranium that you’re  poisoning and mutating the planet with so you can gain more control of the world’s resources? Then again could it be the AIDS virus that you sent to Africa to help out with population control? No? Oh, I know, I’ll bet it’s all those lovely GMO seeds that you and Monsanto and Bill Gates are involved with so that the world will be guaranteed a good, wholesome, secure supply of fresh, healthy organic food crops, right? Na, I guess you’re just thinking about Gaza and its starving population of useless cockroaches, eh?

Yes, indeed Howard, without your help we’d all be in deep doggy do do wouldn’t we?

LDH: “BUT I AM NOT JUST A PLACE:

I am not just defined as a piece of barren unproductive geography brought to life by the dreams and resilience of a people who reach far beyond their grasp.”

This schpeel Howard is the same pile of horse feathers (or hogwash, depending which term one prefers) you’ve been ranting about from the moment you opened your bill confirming again that you’re just another lame duck Zionist peddling myths in order to justify the unjustifiable.

You stole the lands of Palestine from millions of its inhabitants through subterfuge and barbaric, terrorist tactics and yet you still have the audacity to claim that these stolen lands were “a piece of barren unproductive geography brought to life by the dreams and resilience of a people who reach far beyond their grasp.” Are you for real Howard the Lame Duck Zionist or are you simply another figment of George Lucas’s imagination? Can’t you see the obvious discrepancy in what you just wrote? Millions of Palestinian Arabs living on a piece of “barren, unproductive geography”? Really now. And just how did they manage that act for the past few thousand of years Daffy… I mean Howard? Was it manna from Heaven that fed them all that time?

It appears you’ve been reading too much of Joseph Farah’s writings on his Zionist site WorldNetDaily. Thanks to the Rev. Ted Pike, in a recent article on this very issue he had the following remarks and factual information to offer that counters all your sly, quacking lies.

For example, the Encyclopedia of the Palestine Problem explains Israel’s strategy:

“In order to create an alleged justification for the crime of genocide they have committed against the Palestinian Arabs, the Zionists have tried to convince the world that Palestine was practically uninhabited, ‘A Land Without People For a People Without a Land.’ They created and propagated the myths that the Palestinian Arabs were nomads or semi-nomads without a culture and a civilization, that the Palestinians had neither a national identity nor existence, that the Palestinians lacked an economic structure and roots in the land.”

Numerous pre-20th century accounts, recounted in the Encyclopedia of the Palestine Problem, describe it as a veritable cornucopia of every kind of agricultural produce, with excess exported by the Palestinians even to the nations of Europe.

The Encyclopedia confirms that before 1948,

“these Arab towns and villages were not merely place names on a map. They were developed communities containing farms, factories, stores and schools, with an infrastructure of doctors, lawyers, teachers, engineers, merchants, mechanics, industrialists, workers, and farmers which would be the envy of any developing country today…Before 1948 they resided in 12 cities, 8 major towns, and 830 small towns and villages. Arab homes in the cities were either luxurious stone villas with beautiful gardens, or apartments with 2-5 bedrooms. These residences were well-furnished with modern furniture and household goods. No Arab home of the middle and upper classes contained less than eight valuable Persian carpets. All these homes and their furnishings were usurped by Israel.”

Pike goes on to say, “After 1948, Israel took over 12 cities and large towns and 526 small towns and villages. They bulldozed the towns and villages, building new towns with Jewish names.

The Encyclopedia extensively documents from British records that, far from Palestinians depending on Jewish prosperity, the Zionists were permeated with Marxist/collectivist values, resulting in eventual failure of the “kibbutz” experiment. Fairly new to Mideast agriculture, they were largely inefficient, dependent upon regular massive infusion of Western Jewish capital. Despite a general Israeli policy of boycott of Palestinian goods and services, the Palestinians, with a rapidly growing population in 1948 of 1,444,274, were both politically, socially, and economically racing toward UN-sponsored nationhood in 1948.”

Not exactly a chunk of “barren geography” Howard by any stretch of the imagination.

LDH: “ISRAEL IS AN IDEAL:

All of us who reach beyond our grasp, who live by a moral code that cannot be shaken, who wake every day in the hopes of waking to a better world are Israel.

All of us who stand against evil while defending the essence of truth, justice and FREEDOM are Israel.”

In your case Howard you’re living proof of someone who has definitely reached beyond his grasp. The semantic straws that you’re attempting to muster up and clutch at here in this ignorant argument of yours, proffered in order to justify the brutal robbery and murder and dislocation of a whole people are pathetically vacuous and non-existent.  If shame was a word that existed in your vocabulary here is a place where it would fittingly apply.

Your “ISRAEL” isn’t an ideal Harold; it’s a LIVING NIGHTMARE! one shared by all the countless victims of Zionism’s horror show around the world and over the past centuries. Your Mossadic inversion of the truth as in the statement, “All of us who stand against evil while defending the essence of truth, justice and FREEDOM are Israel” is pure, unblemished, transparent Orwellian double-speak. Nice try Bubba but in terms of ethical conduct you still come out a loser.

You Zionists, in true deceptive fashion, took a name that was not rightfully yours, just as you took a country that was not rightfully yours, then twisted it into some sort of hideous Talmudic caricature and called it “Israel,” all in order to further your heinous and evil agenda.

LDH: “Christians who care about their soul are no less Israel. Jewish believers and non-believers who do right by mankind are Israel. And people who believe only in the heart of mankind to do the right thing are also Israel.”

Christians, Howard, who are truly concerned about their souls would be heeding the words of their teacher, Jesus Christ, who recognized the inherent evil in the Pharasiac rabbis of his day and warned His followers to be vigilant of their deceitful and treacherous ways. He knew then, two thousand years ago, full well what your game is and clearly stated it when he said, “I know the blasphemy of them which say they are Jews, and are not, but are of the synagogue of Satan.” His ‘Woe to the Scribes and Pharisees” found in Matthew 23 is a summation of all that I and numerous others are saying today about your hypocritical, deceitful Zionist ways.

He compared your ilk to whited sepulchres that, on the outside, shone resplendent yet within were full of dead men’s’ bones and all sorts of uncleanliness.

He correctly stated that you’re the offspring of those who killed the prophets.

He was bang on the money when he said that you loved to appear outwardly as righteous to the world but that within you were full of hypocrisy and iniquity.

Probably His most poignant and scathing criticism of you was when he said, “Ye serpents, ye generation of vipers, how can you escape the damnation of hell?”

Is it any wonder then Howard you sense somehow that you rose from the some nether-world? How typical of you, in all your unabashed hubris, to equate it with the lie of Auschwitz rather than the hell of the Babylonian Talmud from whence your tormented soul gained access to the third dimension.

Jesus Christ also forewarned the world that you Pharasaic usurpers would eventually shape-shift into the present-day Zionists then try to blow your satanic, deceptive smoke into the ears of the apathetic and complacent Christians who, for a variety of reasons, had grown lax and sloppy in their reading and understanding of the words of Him who they professed to be followers of. As He said, “For there shall arise false Christs and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect.”

With the Torah Jews I find little fault Howard for they see the evil of your ways too and do their best to expose your lies.

As for the atheists their reward is their loneliness and their existential suffering.

When you speak of the “heart of mankind” know that the world is now witnessing as your beloved “Israel” continually plunges its knife into the heart of the Palestinian people of Gaza and the West Bank and deceitfully attempts to use its media monopoly to give it another name.

LDH: “People who will not bend a knee or surrender to those who cast upon them terrible aspersions, lies and hatred are Israel.”

Continual calumny and vituperation directed toward the truth-seekers who are now exposing your evil agenda Howard are a sure guarantee of a lack of cigars for you in the days ahead. Given the growing volume of critique surrounding your shady ways you best stock up on them as soon as possible.

LDH: “Those of us willing to share our good fortune with others, not through coercion, but through compassion are Israel.”

There goes another cigar Howard. The truth is: Those who will defend those who cannot defend themselves, i.e. the Palestinian people, et al, are the peacemakers, activists, freedom lovers and truth-seekers around the world who now know what your agenda is and are doing something to prevent it from happening. You know, like those nine people trying to bring food and medical supplies to Gaza that your Zio-commandos murdered in cold blood on the freedom flotilla. You do recall that don’t you?

LDH: “And all those who stand and fight against all who wish to force themselves upon humanity to take what is not theirs are Israel.”

Lordy, lordy but you do have a way with words Howard! Suave as a Tik Tak and flagrant as a plastic rose. It’s unfortunate that in this instance you forgot to put the “not” between “are” and “Israel”.

Most readers by now are aware of the motto of the Israeli Unintelligence Agency. It goes, “By Way of Deception Thou Shalt do War.” This sentence of yours could have been taken directly from their manual of deception. Collusion via inversion of truth. Who woulda though, eh?

LDH: “Israel can never be defeated without first defeating decency in humanity, because in the final truth, those of us who really care about doing what is right are Israel. Even to the last person.

Because of the ideals of Israel, and as long as one decent person who is willing to stand-up and be counted continues to take breath, Israel will survive to the end of time.”

That’s it Howard. You’re a dead duck! You had one cigar left in the box and you just blew it! Your false Messiah, call it “Israel” or “Zionism” or some other deceptive Utopian title you choose, WILL BE DEFEATED. It’s a foregone conclusion, as certain as day follows night. Evil never triumphs in the end and, surprise, surprise, the end for your gargantuan, global deception is now nigh.

Boy, Were You Ever Wrong

So you thought the Jews were just another clannish and ethnocentric group interested in preserving their religious and cultural traditions. You believed the Jews when they told you that they only wanted to live and let live. You took them at their word when they said they were only desirous of a country where they could reside free of persecution. You didn’t think twice when they larded up their pronouncements with lots of inclusiveness and out-group words of good will. You believed the scholars who pinned all the blame for anti-Jewish persecution, pogroms, expulsions and genocide on those people who were not Jewish. You thought it not unseemly that these same Jews were a bit touchy when it came to their history and their preoccupation with Holocaust dramatizations.  Boy, were you ever wrong.

You knew your country was sick, didn’t you? Yes, you did. You can feel this sick degeneration down deep in your bones. It was a sixth sense you had. It spoke to you like a still small voice and it whispered ever so softly. It told you that the foundations were crumbling and the buffering institutions were being eroded. But you wanted to call it something else. You ranted about “liberalism”, “big government”, “high taxes”, “overregulation” and how bad those Democrats were. Perhaps you attended a few Tea Parties and whined to your friends about the dangers and wickedness of an Obama administration. You might have even dropped a few dollars in the coffers of yet another “conservative” group, thinking you were doing your due diligence. Sarah Palin is probably your girl in 2012. Her shallow rhetoric and inane sound bites did not dissuade you one bit. You, a solid red state flag-waving “patriot” probably cheered the war in Iraq even as the pseudo-mission became more and more opaque and fuzzy. This didn’t stop you from sending your precious son or daughter to “fight for democracy and freedom” and kill more Muslim people all for the nebulous pronouncements of War Party bureaucrats who knew nothing about Sherman tanks, but spent most of their time in think tanks.

When your child came home from college or university mocking the religious beliefs you taught them since their birth and began spouting rehearsed bromides against the evils of white European culture, you blamed “liberal professors.” When your offspring waxed pretty about alternative lifestyles, the merits of homosexuality and the open-minded beauty of bi-curious pursuits, you blamed those damn liberals and Communists. You were half right, which still means that you were also half wrong too. You didn’t look any deeper, did you? You asked shallow questions and you got shallow answers. What did you expect?

Now, as you glance about you and see very few Americans flying American flags (they are almost non-existent in my community), you are chagrined. Like you, many of our citizens know that a sick force has seized our government and our institutions. You know something is awry. But that’s all you know. You, even more than a liberal or a progressive, believe what the controlled, so-called “conservative” media tells you. You don’t ask questions. You are a “controlled opponent” and don’t even know it. You parrot the tired rehashed lines of a Glenn Beck, a Rush Limbaugh or (god forbid) a Sean Hannity. These folks talk about the symptoms all day long, but they want to leave the causes untouched.

[Editor’s Note: This interview with Gilad Atzmon, undoubtedly, is one of the best examples I have read of an explanation for why the so-called “Left” here in the West has lost its relevancy in terms of the greater, burning question of global, moral outrage and dissatisfaction with both the state of Israel and its fundamental, supportive ideology known as political Zionism.

It identifies Marxism for what it truly is: a Zionist/Talmudic/Jewish concept based on a disbelief in God coupled with a supremacist attitude toward others who do not fit the cold, Marxist calculations of what defines a family, a community and a nation and also what is relevant to others in terms of their innate spiritual beliefs and/or consciousness of good and evil.

Gilad’s clear, frank and unambiguous responses to Miriam Cotton’s assumptions about Zionism and the Left were, for me, a joy to read. They acted like a cleanser, wiping away the grime that both smothers and conceals the seemingly endless discourse and rhetoric which inevitably composes the Marxist dialectic.

This interview is indeed a welcome response to these liberal assertions that the Left espouses under the guise of being humanists and ought to be seriously read and seriously promoted online in order to assist others who are still struggling with this divisive and essentially moral, ethic and spiritual Marxist conundrum that continues to plague humankind’s ability to live in peace and harmony and understanding.]

Discussion with Gilad Atzmon by Miriam Cotton

Gilad Atzmon is a world renowned saxophonist and musician with a deep political passion for humanist issues and concern for the fate of the Palestinian people.  He has written extensively about the issue and been published widely.  As a self-exiled, former Jewish Israeli and IDF soldier, Atzmon’s perspective within the raging public discourse on Palestine is relatively unique.  His views are bitterly opposed by some among anti-Zionist Jewish groups, who accuse him of anti-Semitism and of being a ‘self-hater’.

Atzmon fiercely resists the charge of anti-Semitism and insists that he is concerned with a proper and thorough examination of the ideology of what it is to be Jewish – in particular about how the notion of the  Jews as ‘a chosen people’ has led, as he sees it, inexorably to the rise of Zionism and its present disproportionate influence on world affairs.

Atzmon also takes issue with the Western Left which he believes has failed either to recognize the true extent of Zionist influence (he singles Noam Chomsky out for criticism) and of not understanding how western Marxist/socialist ideologies are incompatible with Islamic societies and therefore can be of no use to them.   These and other issues are discussed with him below.  There are many things in what Atzmon says below that beg further question and comment but hopefully the exchange has served to illustrate his interpretation of the Palestinian situation and to provide an insight on a less frequently aired or understood perspective.

MC: Following the murder and kidnap of unarmed aid activists in international waters by Israel, General Petraeus has said the situation [in Gaza] is no longer sustainable.  Though he was in no sense condemning what Israel had done, do you think there may be a beginning of an end to unconditional US support for Israel?

GA: It is actually the other way around. It is Israel that ditches America. Israeli leadership realises that with America in the background the Jewish state won’t be able to pursue its next two lethal plans: Nakaba 2 and dismantling Iranian nuclear capacity. Israel realises that if it wants to maintain its Jews only state as a regional power, it must ethnically cleanse the rest of the Palestinians. Israel is also convinced that its only chance of surviving in the region is if it maintains a nuclear hegemony. The USA makes things difficult for the Jewish State at the moment; it tries to slow Israel down.  I believe that it is Israel that is leading the conflict rather than being subject to it.

MC: But surely that assessment overlooks some important factors.  Nobody can seriously doubt that the US obsession with the region is entirely to do with oil, gas and geo-strategic matters such as Russian and Chinese proximity to these resources, in particular.

GA: This is a good way to put it. However you may also wonder what American interests are, who defines these interests and who shapes them. As it happens, AIPAC (American Israeli Public Affairs Committee) has been pretty effective in shaping American interests; we also know that the Wolfowitz doctrine made it into Bush’s doctrine. For the last three decades Americans failed to see the clear discrepancy between cheap oil and alliance with Israel. They might start to understand it now.

MC:   But the Bush family was/is an oil dynasty too - with ties to as many if not more Arabic vested interests as to the Israelis - there are many more non-AIPAC, US vested interests like these than are in AIPAC.  Everything the US has done there since the beginning of its so-called ‘war on terror’ - and long beforehand - has been aimed at securing the Middle East and about energy and other resources.

GA: This is all true.  It is also true that AIPAC won’t necessarily interfere with unrelated political matters unless it involves Zionist, Israeli or Jewish interests. However, the Jewish lobby in America and in the UK has managed to shape the English speaking Empire’s vision of its needs and interests. From an American perspective, instead of admitting that American soldiers were actually sent to fight war for Israel, they were told instead that they were sent to die in the name of moral interventionism and democracy.  They were actually told that they were ‘liberating the Iraqi people’.  How wonderful! The oil and Israeli interests were presented as side issues. As we know, oil prices didn’t drop after 2003. And yet, Sadam Hussein, the bitterest enemy of Israel was removed. In the long run this plan didn’t work for Israel either. Iran had become the unchallenged Muslim leading power. Inshalah it also becomes a nuclear super power soon.  This would obviously deter the Israelis from accomplishing its endless imperial aspirations.

MC: There is no other country in the Middle East in which the US and its allies could position the vast military threat that Israel has been made into if they are to achieve their ambitions for the  region.  The realisation of Zionist ambitions for Israel was and still is a secondary consideration for the US, despite the relatively powerful Israeli lobby.

GA: I am not so sure at all. I actually think that the Zionist Lobby has managed to destroy the American empire. I argue that the Credit Crunch is in fact a Zio-Punch. I argue that Greenspan created an economy boom to divert attention from Wolfowitz’ wars.   The Zionists in fact have managed to bring down every super power they cling to. Britain, France and now America.  You have to allow yourself to  admit that the ‘War on Terror’ was actually a Zionist led war against Islam, a battle that was there to serve Israeli interests.

MC: Israel has been funded and encouraged to develop a nuclear arsenal of several hundred warheads, while the Iranians who do not even have one, but who control a lot of oil, are deemed to be a threat to world peace.  Frankly, in these circumstances the Iranians and others would be justified in thinking they need some means of defending themselves against the only real threat at present- and against those who are in fact being the most provocative as well as doing the vast majority of the killing: US-Israel.

GA: This is indeed a very valid point. From an Iranian perspective, nuclear military capacity is a defensive means. The Iranians are constantly under a nuclear threat and so are the rest of the countries in the region and beyond.

MC: Britain and America don’t fight any wars that they don’t want to fight - not even justifiable wars, unless there is a percentage in it for them.

GA: Are you sure about this, or is that something we all prefer to believe?  As it happens both in Britain and America the political parties are funded heavily by Jewish pro Israeli lobbies. Haim Saban, the multi-billionaire Israeli fund raiser for the American Democratic Party said last year that the best way to influence America is through political funding, the media and think tanks. There you go. Even the vision of ‘American interests’ can be no more than false interests when they have been manipulated into an alignment with what are really Israeli interests. At the end of the day, it is far cheaper to by a western politician than buying a tank. It is far cheaper to recruit a ‘new friend of Israel’ than flying an F15 for one hour.

MC: Israel is essentially a creation of the British and other European powers - and the oil was firmly at the front of their minds even way back then.

GA: This is another myth that people like Chomsky want us to believe in. In fact the Balfour Declaration was there to pull America into the war. It was there to push Jewish German and Russian bankers to change their allegiance from Germany to Britain so they could fund the new American war. Amos Alon presents an embarrassing chapter in Jewish history in his monumental book The Pity of It All. In fact it  worked for the British. Two months after the Declaration, America was in the war.  This wasn’t about oil. It was another war funded by a Jewish political lobby.

ALAN HART: Zionism’s Colonial Enterprise Is Doomed, but…

Ronen Bergman, a senior military and political analyst for the Israeli daily Yedioth Ahronoth, recently wrote what I consider to be one of the most important articles for decades on the subject of the mindset of the Zionist state’s military and political leaders. It was reproduced in the Wall Street Journal under the headline Siege Fatigue and the Flotilla Mistake.

Getting to the main thrust of his analysis, Bergman wrote this (my emphasis added): “What we witnessed in the early hours of Monday morning was symptomatic of a new degree of fatigue in Israeli governing circles. The fact that both the political and military authorities could sign off on such an irresponsible operation  suggests that the leadership of the country has given up what it has concluded is ultimately a Sisyphean attempt to accommodate world opinion. Isolation is no longer a threat to be fought, their thinking seems to go, because Israel is terminally isolated. What remains is to concentrate exclusively on what is best for Israel’s survival, shedding any regard for the opinion of others.”

Bergman went on to quote from a conversation he had with a very senior military source two days before Israel’s attack on the Gaza-bound flotilla. The source said it made no difference how careful Israel was in its actions or how it tackled the flotilla. “Whatever we do, they’ll all be against us, they’ll condemn us at the UN and we’ll be scolded. We might as well at least preserve our national dignity and maintain the blockade of Gaza.” In other words, Bergman commented, “the war over world opinion is over and Israel has lost.”

A little later in his article Bergman wrote: “Israel’s fatigue and deep sense of ostracism is, to say the least, unhealthy… And, of course, it is profoundly disturbing when the fatigued and isolated country itself has the means to strike pre-emptively and punishingly at its enemies, including in ways from which, realistically, there may be no return.”

As I note in the three-volume, American edition of my book ZIONISM: THE REAL ENEMY OF THE JEWS (www.claritypress.com), the question of whether or not Israel should care about what the non-Jewish world thinks was the ticking time-bomb at the heart of Israeli politics from the moment of the Zionist (not Jewish) state’s birth.

David Ben-Gurion, Israel’s founding father and first prime minister, was firmly and unshakably of the opinion, as were most of his leadership colleagues, that what the non-Jewish world thought of Israel’s policies and actions did not matter. “Our future,” Ben-Gurion was fond of saying, “does not depend on what Gentiles say but on what Jews do.” The logic (paranoia?) supporting this way of thinking went something like this. The world has always been and always will be anti-Semitic (anti-Jew). Holocaust II, shorthand for another great turning against the Jews, is at some point in the future inevitable. So by definition there can be no limits to what Israel might have to do to preserve Israel as refuge of last resort for all Jews everywhere.

My own Gentile take on this aspect of the matter is that after the obscenity of the Nazi holocaust, and because of it, the giant of anti-Semitism would have gone back to sleep and, very probably, would have died in its sleep – if the major powers had not allowed Zionism right or wrong to have its way. But let’s put that to one side.

The only heavyweight Israeli leader who opposed Ben-Gurion’s view of Israel’s position in the world was Moshe Sharett, the state’s first foreign minister and prime minister for a short period after Ben-Gurion stood down because of doubts about his mental stability. In my view Sharett was the only completely sane member of Israel’s early leadership.

I think the most perceptive summary of Sharett and his significance is to be found in The Iron Wall, Israel and the Arabs, a book of revelations by Avi Shlaim, one of Israel’s leading “revisionist” (meaning honest) historians who now lives in the UK and is Professor of International Relations at St. Antony’s College, Oxford. Shlaim wrote (my emphasis added):

“In sharp contrast to Ben-Gurion, Sharett was highly sensitive not only to what the Gentiles said but even more to what they did. He acknowledged that the UN had played an indispensable part in the creation of the State of Israel, and he was in favour of allowing it to play a larger and more effective role in the regulation of the Arab-Israeli conflict. He believed that international public opinion had a bearing on Israel’s security and was, therefore, a factor worth taking into account. Above all, he was eager to enlist the sympathy and support of the Western powers in Israel’s quest for security and peace. To this end he deemed it necessary to abide by the prevailing norms of international behaviour and to refrain from actions that would fuel Arab hatred.”

The quality of Sharett’s insight into what would be in store for Israel if its hawks had their way was indicated by his diary entry for 12 October 1955, shortly before Ben-Gurion reclaimed the dual role of prime minister and defense minister. This diary entry, an expression of naked despair, was in the form of a question: “What is our vision on this earth – war to the end of generations and life by the sword?”

As I explain in detail in my book, Sharett was destroyed by Ben-Gurion not only because he wanted Israel to be a normal state, but also because he wanted to make peace with the Arabs. (Sharett responded positively to secret messages from Eygpt’s President Nasser who wanted an accommodation with Israel).

Now to the headline over this article – Zionism’s Colonial Enterprise Is Doomed, but…

In 1948, as a consequence of Israel’s victory on the battlefield, the Palestine file was closed. One of the unspeakable truths of the time was that behind closed doors the divided, defeated and impotent Arab regimes shared the same hope as Zionism and the major powers. It was that the Palestine file would remain closed. In the script written by Zionism and endorsed by the major powers and the Arab regimes, there was not supposed to be a regeneration of Palestinian nationalism. The Palestinians were supposed to accept their lot as the sacrificial lamb on the altar of political expediency.

On reflection it’s my view that Zionism’s colonial enterprise was doomed by its failure to keep the Palestine file closed. Once the file was re-opened by Yasser Arafat and his Fatah colleagues, Zionism had a choice – either to make an accommodation with the Palestinians (by the end of 1979 Arafat had prepared the ground on his side for peace on terms which any rational government and people in Israel would have accepted with relief);or by all and any means, including state terrorism, to try to break the will of the Palestinians to continue their struggle for an acceptable amount of justice.

Israel’s leaders chose the latter course, and in doing they have not deviated from Zionism’s defining ethic as written and published by Vladimir Jabotinsky, the founding father of Israel’s army. His text, published a decade before the Nazis came to power in Germany, explains why Israel was bound to become a rogue state and, at the time of writing, a monster beyond control. As put into words by Jabotinsky, the following was, is, Zionism’s defining ethic (my emphasis added):

“Zionism is a colonizing adventure and therefore it stands or it falls by the question of armed force. It is important to speak Hebrew but, unfortunately, it is even more important to be able to shoot – or else I am through with playing at colonization.

“To the hackneyed reproach that this point of view is unethical, I answer – absolutely untrue. This is our ethic. There is no other ethic. As long as there is the faintest spark of hope for the Arabs to impede us, they will not sell these hopes – not for any sweet words nor for any tasty morsel, because this (the Palestinians) is not a rabble but a people, a living people. And no people makes such enormous concessions on such fateful questions, except when there is no hope left, until we have removed every opening visible in the Iron Wall.”

Taking it as read, as I do, that Zionism’s colonial enterprise is doomed, the following question is in order. How will the story end?

Were it not for the fact that the Jew Media shields the West from reading such speeches I’m certain the outcry here in Canada and the USA and elsewhere would be much more vocal than it already is.

Today I do not only want to speak to my dear people but to all of humanity.

I want to call to the conscience and hearts and minds of the whole of humanity, I would like to share courageously my feelings.

Yesterday, in the darkest moment of the night, two bloody attacks occurred.

The first of them was the terrorist attack against our military troops at the Iskenderun Naval Base. In this malicious, vicious attack six of our soldiers died, and have become martyrs. Seven of our soldiers have been injured.

The second, at dawn in the waters of the Mediterranean Sea, the heart of humanity has taken one of her heaviest wounds in history. The aid ships, from the humanitarian heart, these flowing aid ships have been hindered by guns, by violence, and by despotism.

They, who with mercy, compassion and humaneness, loaded aid onto these ships, could not reach their place of destination; they were wreaked in carnage.

Yesterday, beginning in the morning hours, armed elements of the Israeli Army stopped humanitarian aid being brought to the Gazan people. From more than 32 countries, with 600 people inside the Free Gaza Flotilla traveling in international waters, in an absolutely illegal way did they attack, spilling the blood of innocent humans.

During this violent attack, resulting in death, casualties and persons being wounded, the humanitarian aid ships were seized and sequestered. This inhuman attack against those women, young people and religious functionaries that the ship was carrying, I do one more time strongly, severely condemn.

I have declared this in Chile. Here I do stress it one more time. This bloody massacre by Israel, brought against the ships bringing humanitarian aid to Gaza is a massacre deserving of every kind of curse and condemnation. This is openly an attack upon international law, against the heart of humanity, against world peace. I say against the heart of humanity, for, on those ships were people from all nations, all religions. People alone and defenseless who were bringing humanitarian aid to those under blockade, embargo; the people in Gaza.

According to the famous Israeli-born Jazz musician, Gilad Atzmon, “The ideology that carried out execution-style killings on the Gaza aid flotilla the ‘Mavi Marmara’ is the same ideology that carried out the massacres at Deir Yassin, Qibya, Sabra and Shatilla, Qana, Gaza, Jenin and the murder of Rachel Corrie — more than that it is the same ideology that killed Christ.” He continues: “there is no biological, racial or ethnic continuum between the ancient Israelites and the contemporary Israelis. The attack on the aid convoy is a continuum of the same ideology that killed Christ. Christ’s killing is a symbol of a brutal assault against goodness, in the same way the attack on the aid convoy was against humanity and compassion.” Speaking to Arab News after the deadly attack on the aid Flotilla where 9 peace activists were shot dead and around 50 injured Atzmon was scathing against Israel’s actions and demanded that it should be stripped of its UN membership.

Atzmon is a former Israeli soldier who now lives in London. He is not only a renowned author and writer but also a famous award-winning jazz musician. Described as a musical genius he has recorded with the likes of Robbie Williams, Sinead O Connor, Robert Wyatt, Paul McCartney, Tunisian singer Dhaffer Youssef and countless others.

With a strong presence on and off stage and a disarming smile, Atzmon has a huge following not only for his music but for being a unique thinker and philosopher.

Admired for his fearless stance against oppression, he is also at the forefront of a taboo discourse that many will not venture into out of fear of being branded anti-Semite; and that is the discourse on the Jewish identity, Zionism and Israel.

Because of this stance, he has been branded a “Jew self-hater.” Atzmon smiles: “in fact I correct them ‘I am not only a self-hater but a proud self-hater.’”

The accusations do not deter him as he is quite vocal about the self-hatred he feels for the Israeli part of him.

He argues: “We are dealing here with a morbid collective that sets itself against humanity.” He believes the reason why he is at the forefront of this discourse is because he is more able than others to understand Israeli mentality because, “I come from them, and I know how they think.”

He himself has studied for many years the issue of the Jewish identity, and in his talks is often found quoting philosophers like the Austrian Otto Weininger, Kant, Heidegger, Nietzsche, Lacan, Marx as well as Eastern philosophers.

He explains: “Israel has violated all international laws, it has never been held accountable for the countless massacres.” However, he argues the latest massacre of peace activists on the aid flotilla with the emerging forensic reports which suggest Israeli execution-style killings of the 9 peace activists has resulted in shock horror around the world.

“The remarkable fact is they don’t understand why the world is beginning to stand against them in the same way they didn’t understand why the Europeans stood against them in the 1930s. Instead of asking why we are hated they continue to toss accusations on others.”

In his latest article titled “Jewish Ideology and World Peace,” he argues: “Within the discourse of Jewish politics and history there is no room for causality… Within the Jewish tribal discourse every narrative starts to evolve when Jewish pain establishes itself. …It also explains why for most Jews the history of the holocaust starts in the gas chambers or with the rise of the Nazis. I have hardly seen any Israelis or Jews attempt to understand the circumstances that led to the clear resentment of Europeans toward their Jewish neighbors in the 1920s-40s.”

Born and brought up as a Zionist in Israel, Atzmon believes it was his love of music that first opened his eyes to the world. “I was brought up to believe that Jews were the chosen people and no one was better than us. Then I discovered jazz and found out that many of the great jazz musicians were black Afro-Americans. That was the first dent in the theory of our greatness and as I picked up the stones more truths began to come out.”

At 19, Atzmon was stationed as a soldier to Lebanon where he saw for the first time thousands of Palestinians living as refugees. “We were told that the Palestinians had left and gone to other Arab countries, so when I saw thousands of refugees living without the basics I realized that we had stolen their land.”

Atzmon also witnessed the atrocities the Israeli Army was committing against the Palestinians; so as soon as he could, he left the army and left the country for good.

“My studies have shown me that the Jewish identity is foreign to humanism, it is tribal and has evolved as an outcome of an exilic culture.” He argues that we can learn a lot about Jewish collective ideology by looking closely to the biblical “Story of Esther” which he argues teaches Jews the art of infiltration into politics and governments.

He continues: “This form of infiltration is clearly evident in America today where the Jewish lobby (AIPAC) dominates the political discourse. Also in Britain we have the British Jewish lobby, and the ‘Friends of Israel’, we also have people like David Aaronovitch, The Times columnist and Nick Cohen of The Observer, who advocated for war with Iraq. Both write for the Jewish papers, are known sympathizers of Israel and have contributed extensively to the growing Islamophobia in Britain. Lord Levy, a rabid Zionist was funding the Labour Party when it went into an illegal war with Iraq which led to over a million Iraqi fatalities.”

He continues: “We have the likes of David Miliband the Labour MP; I wonder how many people know that he is listed on the Israeli propaganda site as an Israeli propagandist author. Did you know that under the last government, when everyone was talking about Israel’s killing of a Hamas leader in Dubai by using forged British passports, David Miliband was busy attempting to amend the laws of universal jurisdiction so Israeli war criminals could enter Britain.”

In his latest article Atzmon writes: “Enough is enough; it is time to name and shame every Israeli and Zionist infiltrator within political circles, media and academia.”

Maybe it is the soldier in him but there are not many subjects that Atzmon is not afraid to confront. The biggest taboo subject today is to question the holocaust. In many European countries one can be jailed for questioning the numbers killed or to what extent gas chambers were used?

Atzmon however has no fear when he says: “I do not deny that Jewish suffering took place, I also lost family in it. However if the established holocaust narrative is true why do we need laws to protect it?” He continues: “We want a coherent narrative open to scrutiny. We owe it to ourselves, to history to find out the truth and I don’t mean the truth through emotionally charged Hollywood films. Also I reiterate that those involved in an academic and historic inquiry should not be threatened with law suits and abuse.”

To stop further world conflicts, Atzmon believes that governments should confront Israel. He argues that unlike the last Labour government that indulged Israel to continue its brutal assaults, while its leaders Blair and Brown were honorary patrons of the Jewish National Fund UK, the new government has to take a stronger stand. “In order to end one of the most brutal occupations of Gaza we need to ban Israeli aircraft from British airspace, impose EU trade sanctions against Israel and strip Israel of its UN membership.” For Atzmon the tide is turning and humanity which is bound together by human ethics and morals need to stand together against Israel before it takes us to war with Iran which according to him “is its next step.”

Federal NDP Leader Jack Layton, in making his monumentally ignorant comments about how the NDP would never “ever deny that Israel not only has a right to exist but a right to exist in secure borders in a safe context,” has exhibited his own vastly uniformed knowledge of how Israel actually is constituted and operates. He speaks about “secure borders” in total ignorance of the fact that Israel has no defined borders and never did (Israel is Rothschild is Zionism and their objective is a world without borders for the simple reason that they will control it all). He also speaks as if Israel has a defined and written constitution (which it doesn’t) and assumes that their ongoing “right” to steal land from the Arabs and call it their own is somehow clearly understood and beyond dispute. For a federal leader of one of Canada’s three major political parties to be so misinformed and outrightly stupid is a poignant illustration of just how deep and widespread this fable of Israel truly is.

Calls for NDP MP to resign after Israel comments

Prime Minister Stephen Harper called on NDP MP Libby Davies to resign as her party’s deputy leader after she suggested Israel has been occupying territory since the country came into existence.

“Mr. Speaker, this is a fundamental denial of Israel’s right to exist,” Harper said in the House of Commons on Tuesday. “It repeats the kind of comments that were made by Helen Thomas on which she was forced to resign and the member of the NDP who said those should be forced to resign as well.”

Thomas was the veteran White House correspondent who resigned after saying Jews in Israel should “get the hell out of Palestine” and “go back to Poland, Germany, America and everywhere else.”

Liberal foreign affairs critic Bob Rae also denounced Davies’ comments.

“To deny the state of Israel’s right to exist and to propose an international campaign of boycotts, divestments and sanctions against a legitimate member of the world community for over 60 years is to reveal a  level of hostility and ignorance that is truly breathtaking,” Rae said in a written statement.

In a media scrum later, Rae argued that Davies’ comments were not simply a slip of the tongue and called for her to step down as deputy leader.

Earlier this month, Davies was interviewed at a rally in Vancouver and asked if she believes the occupation in Israel began in 1948 or 1967. After hesitating, she answered:

“Forty-eight. I mean, it’s the longest occupation in the world. But I mean, I’m not going to argue numbers. It’s too long, right?” She went on to say, “I mean, this is the longest occupation in the world. People  are suffering. I’ve been to the West Bank in Gaza twice so I’ve seen for myself what’s going on.”

The state of Israel was established in 1948.

In the video, Davies is also asked if she supports the international campaign of boycotts, divestments and sanctions against Israel (known as the BDS movement).

“I haven’t even actually gone that far. You gotta understand, I’m probably the strongest supporter in Parliament. There is virtually no information in the political arena or understanding about the BDS movement. People are actually afraid to speak out on this issue.… Elected people who are sympathetic are actually afraid to speak out,” Davies answers.

Later in the video, Davies says she personally supports the BDS movement, adding, however, that she’s not “someone who’s there” but is instead a Canadian politician demanding the Canadian government speak out more on the issues.

The interview was posted on YouTube.

Since her comments were made public, Davies has posted on her website a letter she sent to the editor of The Ottawa Citizen.

“My reference to the year 1948 as the beginning of the Israeli occupation of Palestinian territory was a serious and completely inadvertent error,” she wrote. “I apologize for this and regret any confusion it has caused. I have always supported a two-state solution to the ongoing Israeli-Palestinian conflict and have never questioned Israel’s right to exist and the Palestinians’ right to a viable state.”

NDP Leader Jack Layton defended Davies Tuesday.

“Libby Davies has apologized and did so immediately around the serious mistake about a date. She has never and our party has never, nor would we ever deny that Israel not only has a right to exist but a right to exist in secure borders in a safe context,” he said.

Layton added that the party does not support the BDS proposal.

The Flotilla Massacre
Historical Perspective, Aftermath and Implications

During the Mandate period and throughout its existence, Israel’s history has been bloodstained, barbarous, and out-of-control - and for most of it generously funded and heavily armed with the latest weapons and technology by its Washington paymaster/partner to reign terror on the region and Palestine. Early on, Israel was a regional menace. It’s now a global one, posing a grave threat to world peace and stability.

The Flotilla attack was just the latest among its thousands of other atrocities, large and small, including preemptive wars, smaller incursions, bombings, killings including targeted assassinations, torture as official policy, and numerous other crimes against humanity as advocated by early leaders like David Ben-Gurion (Israel’s first prime minister) saying:

“We must expel the Arabs and take their place and if we have to use force, to guarantee our own right to settle (on their land) then we have (it) at our disposal.”

Or former IDF Chief of Staff Raphael Eitan (1978 - 1983) saying:

“We declare openly that the Arabs have no right to settle on even one centimeter of Eretz Israel….Force is all they do or ever will understand. We shall use the ultimate force until the Palestinians come crawling to us on all fours.”

Or the secret (1976 published) Koenig Report saying:

“We must use terror, assassination, intimidation, land confiscation and the cutting of all social services to rid the Galilee of its Arab population.”

Or Benjamin Netanyahu, as Deputy Foreign Minister, saying “Israel should have exploited the (1989 Tiananmen Square violence), when world attention focused on (China), to carry out mass expulsions among the Arabs of the territories.”

Little wonder why Israel’s history is so bloodstained, some notable examples below:

– on July 22, 1946, future prime minister Menachem Begin’s Irgun (a notorious terror group) bombed the King David Hotel, massacring 92 Brits, Arabs and Jews, wounding 58 others, in an operation approved by David Ben-Gurion as head of the Jewish Agency at the time;

– also under the Mandate, the terrorist Stern Gang (future prime minister Yitzhak Shamir one of its leaders) carried out numerous bombings, kidnappings, and killings, including the 1944 assassination of Lord Moyne in Cairo - Britain’s highest ranking official in the region;

– on April 9, 1948 (during Israel’s “war of independence”) the Irgun, Stern Gang and other Israeli terrorists slaughtered well over 120 Palestinian men, women and children in the bloody Deir Yassin village rampage; on April 14, The New York Times reported 254 killed;

– Israel’s “war of independence” (Palestine’s Nakba, its “Holocaust”) depopulated 531 towns and villages and 11 urban neighborhoods, committing mass slaughter, rapings, vast destruction, and countless other atrocities in displacing about 800,000 Palestinians - one of history’s greatest ever crimes of war and against humanity;

– a week after the war’s mid-May 1948 end, Israeli troops massacred over 200 al-Tantura villagers, mostly unarmed young men murdered in cold blood;

– on July 11 & 12, IDF forces slaughtered several hundred Lydda civilians, including 80 machine-gunned inside the Dahmash mosque;

– from October 24 - 29, 1948, Israeli soldiers slaughtered 50 Hula, Lebanon villagers;

– on October 29, 1948, they massacred around 200 al-Dawayima villagers;

– on October 30, 20 more in Majd al-Kurum, 94 when they blew up a house, and hundreds in Sa’sa’ village;

– on October 14, 1953, Ariel Sharon’s notorious Unit 101 murdered 70 Qibya, Jordan villagers;

– on April 5, 1956, IDF shelling massacred 56 and wounded 193 in Gaza City;

– on October 29, 1956, the IDF slaughtered about 50 Kafr Kassem village men, women and children;

– during the 1956 Suez War, Israelis executed about 273 Egyptian soldiers and civilians in cold blood;

– on November 12, 1956, the IDF slaughtered over 100 Rafah Refugee Camp civilians;

– during Israel’s preemptive June 1967 Six Day War, its forces massacred around 2,000 captured Egyptian soldiers, another 340 Syrian villagers in the Golan Heights, and displaced over 300,000 Palestinians who fled to Jordan, Lebanon, Egypt, and Syria to escape the carnage;

– on June 8, 1967, Israeli forces preemptively attacked the USS Liberty (a clearly marked US intelligence ship), killing 34 Americans and wounding another 171 in international waters; Lyndon Johnson’s defense department whitewashed it as a case of “mistaken identity,” despite clear knowledge of a premeditated assault;

– on February 21, 1973, the IDF shot down Libya Airlines Flight 114, killing 106 passengers, including one American;

– on February 25, 1994, Baruch Goldstein (a member of Rabbi Meir Kahane’s extremist Jewish Defense League) attacked Hebron’s Cave of the Patriarchs Ibrahim mosque, massacring 29 and wounding another 129;

– during Israel’s 1982 Lebanon invasion and occupation, IDF forces slaughtered about 18,000 Lebanese and Palestinians, including around 3,000 by its Phalangist allies in the Sabra and Shatila refugee camps;

– during the first (1987 - 1992) and second (2000 - 2005) Intifadas, IDF rampages slaughtered thousands of Palestinian men, women and children in cold blood;

– in April 2002, IDF forces invaded Jenin and its refugee camp, cut them off from outside help, destroyed hundreds of buildings, buried many alive under the rubble, cut off power, water, food, and other essential supplies, refused to let in help (including medical aid), and killed or wounded at least dozens (perhaps hundreds) of Palestinian civilians; Israel removed bodies and buried them to prevent an accurate count;

– during the July 2006 Lebanon war, the IDF caused mass destruction, killed about 1,300, wounded many more, and displaced around one million civilians (about one-fourth of the population);

– during the June 2006 Operation Summer Rain against Gaza, Israelis killed around 240 (mostly civilians) and caused widespread destruction - including three main bridges, the Nusairat and al-Boreji refugee camps’ main water pipe, and the Strip’s only power plant, supplying 80% of the Territory’s electricity;

– during the same period, the IDF conducted around 50 West Bank incursions, raiding homes, razing farmland, arresting dozens, and on June 29 the entire (elected) Hamas leadership, including eight ministers, 25 PLC Change and Reform Party members, and other Hamas officials; and

– during the 23-day December 2008 - January 2009 Operation Cast Lead, IDF forces slaughtered over 1,400, injured around 5,500 more (many seriously), and inflicted vast destruction throughout Gaza, including vital infrastructure, hospitals, schools, mosques, government buildings, factories, other businesses, farmland, private homes, and much more unrelated to military necessity in violation of international law; as a result, the Goldstone Commission concluded that:

“the Israeli military operation was directed at the people of Gaza as a whole, in furtherance of an overall and continuing policy aimed at punishing the (entire) population, and in a deliberate policy of disproportionate force aimed at the civilian population. The destruction of (vital infrastructure and non-military targets) was the result of a deliberate and systematic policy which has made the daily process of living, and dignified living, more difficult for the civilian population.”

And now the Flotilla massacre, Israel’s latest crime against humanity, enraging millions worldwide, getting Turkey and South Africa to recall their ambassadors, Nicaragua to downgrade diplomatically to a consular level, and several other countries to consider their own measures.

Qatar announced it will pay to take Israel to the International Court of Justice (ICJ) and will fund a worldwide media campaign on the incident and Gaza siege.

Arutz Sheva (Israel National News.com) reported that the Egyptian Bar Association is collecting material to file an ICJ suit, its chairman, Hamdi Alifa, saying they’re being reviewed to file “giant lawsuits” against Israeli crimes, including the Flotilla attack and Gaza siege.

Haaretz reported that Swedish dock workers will blockade Israeli ships from June 15 - 24. Norway announced it cancelled a scheduled special operations seminar because its Defense Ministry objected to an Israeli officer’s participation. In Bournemouth, England (with a large Jewish population and Jewish mayor), people demanded cutting city relations with Netanyahu.

The French operator Utopia said it won’t screen the Israeli-made film, “Five Hours From Paris.” Israel flags were publicly burned in many cities. New Delhi Muslims demanded their government sever ties with Israel. The BBC reported that 200 or more in Belfast protested the Rachel Corrie seizure, five days after the Flotilla massacre.

Ynet News.com reported that President Shimon Peres will likely cancel a scheduled Asia trip, because he’s supremely unwelcome, and longtime White House correspondent Helen Thomas said Israeli Jews should return to Germany, Poland, and America, prompting B’nai B’rith’s international VP Daniel Mariaschin to say:

“There should be no place for her in a news organization. Her comments go beyond commentary and land well in the camp that will stop at nothing to delegitimize Israel.” B’nai B’rith has long supported the worst of Israeli crimes, denouncing anyone who dares expose them.

On June 7, Haaretz reported that a Knesset panel voted 7 - 1 to “strip Balad (Party) MK Hanin Zuabi (an Israeli citizen) of privileges over (her) Gaza flotilla participation.”

In a same day op-ed piece, Haaretz’s Ruth Gavison called measures to “limit dissent and protest” dangerous by “enforc(ing) the platforms of those who claim Israel is becoming a belligerent country that belittles democracy and human rights.”

In fact, throughout its history, Israel has always been belligerent, and has never respected democracy, human rights, or the rule of law.

Global Outrage - Resonating and Growing

After the massacre, world protests erupted, including in many US cities - among them:

– New York, Chicago, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Washington DC in front of the White House, Philadelphia, Pittsburgh, Boston, Houston, Dallas, Cleveland, Atlanta, Tampa, Minneapolis, Oklahoma City, New Orleans, Charlotte, Raleigh, Knoxville, Fresno, Dearborn, Denver, Sioux Falls, Fort Wayne, Fayetteville, Portland, Boise, and Seattle.

US major media reports ignored them, but aired Israeli propaganda blaming the victims, calling them terrorists, and claiming the Netanyahu government acted responsibly to prevent “pro-Palestinian radicals, jihadists” from smuggling in arms to Hamas - Palestine’s legitimate government, falsely called a terrorist organization to justify premeditated murder, a suffocating siege, claiming they’re for self-defense, another refuge for scoundrels caught red-handed as evidenced by the worldwide outrage.

On May 31, Al Jazeera headlined what millions around the world feel: “Global outrage over Israeli attack” - condemnation from high officials to street anger everywhere, Hamas leader Ismail Haniya proclaiming May 31 “freedom day” in calling on Palestinians throughout Gaza and the West Bank “to carry out a total strike (throughout the Territories) to show solidarity (against) Israeli crimes.”

Longtime Palestinian supporter, Hugo Chavez, expressed condolences to the families and friends of the “heros who were victims of this crime,” calling on “those responsible for the murders (to) be severely punished.”

In a prepared statement, he condemned the “brutal massacre committed by the state of Israel against members of the Freedom Flotilla (and its) war against unarmed civilians who were trying to bring humanitarian assistance to the….people of Gaza (under) a criminal blockade imposed by the state of Israel.”

“The revolutionary government of Venezuela will continue denouncing the terrorist and criminal nature of the Israeli government and reiterates….its unshakeable commitment with the struggle of the Palestinian people for freedom, national sovereignty and dignity.”

In early 2009, over Cast Lead atrocities, Chavez severed diplomatic ties with Israel and hasn’t restored them.

Turkey’s Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan strongly condemned Israel’s attack as “despicably cowardly, brazen, reckless, and vicious - against international law, against the heart of humanity, against world peace,” referring to the massacre as an “abhorrent terrorist attack” against a humanitarian mission in international waters.

He recalled his ambassador, cancelled three jointly scheduled military operations, called for an emergency Security Council meeting, asked for immediate international community action, and said “Everything has a price. And this government will have to pay (it).”

Aside from its latest appalling crime, a litany of explanatory lies, and a common street thug as prime minister, Israel and America (its paymaster/partner in all belligerent acts) have a whopping PR disaster on their hands, given world outrage resonating to top officials who must answer to their own constituencies.

Moreover, the Netanyahu government’s farcical justification compounds its untenable position. Obama’s indifference and Security Council obstructionism exposes his, along with outrageous congressional comments. These people can’t even lie well, or perhaps as automatically count on reliable allies ahead, getting fed up with ones more an albatross.

Objectives of Both Sides

Flotilla planners’ clear agenda included:

– delivering essential to life aid to 1.5 million besieged Gazans, three years this month, but more importantly

– symbolically breaking the siege to encourage world condemnation, highlighting an intolerable injustice, and taking another important step toward ending it.

On the pretext of blocking the entry of weapons, Israel carried out a premeditated, carefully planned and rehearsed military operation, designed to commit murder and mass casualties against unarmed civilians, even announcing it in Maariv, one of Israel’s leading dailies, days in advance, the caption reading:

“On the way to violence, one of the boats is on its way,” suggesting a kill-or-be-killed encounter with “terrorists.”

Israel’s plan had specific objectives:

– to maintain its oppressive blockade;

– keep 1.5 million Gazans trapped in the world’s largest open-air prison;
– cause enough harm to deter others from coming, and

– assassinated designated activists on board.

On June 5, the UK Independent’s Catrina Stewart reported an interview with Jamal Elshayyal, one of eight Al Jazeera on board reporters, seven on the Mavi Marmara, saying passengers found on Israeli commandos a list of names and photos, Alshayyal telling Stewart:

The “protesters rummaged through captured soldiers’ belongings and claimed to unearth a document that they allege is a list of people Israel intended to assassinate. The booklet, written in Hebrew and in English, contained some photographs of passengers on the Marmara, including the leader of IHH, the Turkish charity that provided two of the ships, an 88-year-old priest and Ra’ad, head of the Northern Branch of the Islamic Movement in Israel, Mr. Elshayyal said.”

Autopsy reports show Flotilla members were shot multiple times at close range, two or more in the head, indicating murder, not self-defense as Israel claims.

The Israeli Project produces pro-Israeli propaganda, claiming it’s information is accurate, unbiased, and “not related to any government or government agency.”

In its post-Flotilla attack conference call, Rep. Brad Sherman (D. CA) accused Flotilla activists of aiding Hamas in violation of US law, then called on US Attorney General Eric Holder to prosecute US participants on terrorist charges, saying:

“The Antiterrorism and Effective Death Penalty Act of 1996 makes it absolutely illegal for any American to give food, money, school supplies, paper clips, concrete or weapons to Hamas or any of its officials.”

Sherman, a so-called “liberal” Democrat, supports the most extremist elements of Israel’s government, Netanyahu and Foreign Minister and Deputy Prime Minister Avigdor Lieberman among them, notorious sponsors of state-terrorism.

The entire Senate and most House members also back Israel’s belligerence and broader objective to destroy PA authority to subjugate all Palestine - by ruthless attacks against civilians, considered legitimate targets to weaken their will to resist through mass slaughter, other atrocities, and numerous other abuses.

Cast Lead did it horrifically, the Flotilla slaughter just the latest example of how far Israel will go - with Washington’s full support through generous funding, the latest weapons and technology, and use of its Security Council pressure and veto.

Stratfor Global Intelligence on the Flotilla Massacre

Providing information and insights to world decision-makers, Stratfor’s CEO George Friedman examined the effect of Israel’s attack, calling it “unprecedented in size” for an assault of this kind, citing three factors differentiating it:

– over 600 foreign nationals were involved, including politicians and journalists, “raising the stakes for all players;”

– the incident drew unprecedented media attention and preparation; immediately, “pre-arranged interviews with various pro-Palestinian representatives were filling regional media such as Al Jazeera” and others (but not in America where they’re banned); world protests erupted, calling for accountability and sanctions against Israel; and

– “Most importantly, a non-Arab foreign state played a role in instigating this incident. Turkey has been feeling its way forward in the region,” trying to increase its political stature through “new tools of influence.” Its government “did everything it could to benefit from the public relations that a successful breaching of the blockade would generate.”

In addition, because of Israel’s “direct action, a web of international relationships will be affected,” and Turkey can leverage the incident by “providing military escorts (for) future aid flotillas that could increase in size” and further heighten tensions if Israeli recklessness continues.

Already, Middle East instability has increased, “the last thing” America needs with more than enough on its plate. In addition, Washington-Tel Aviv relations are affected, at least overtly as well as Israel’s Western and regional relationships. Fumbling a “military action against a civilian convoy….is something that works directly against American policies.”

Given what’s happened and world outrage, “the issue has….shifted from a military question to a political one.” Key ahead is how Israel, Washington and Ankara will react, besides the potential effect on other world governments, given growing demands for accountability and mass public calls for action.

Friedman discounts the idea that the commandos used “paintballs” in the attack, calling them “training rounds” not likely to be used during a mission of this sort, especially on a ship with over 600 activists. Claiming it flies in the face of up to 20 killed and many more wounded, Friedman added:

“We find this hard to believe, given Israel’s extensive experience (against) hostile civilian crowds,” perhaps ready to offer resistance.

Israel’s Shayetet 13 force is an elite Naval Special Forces unit, specializing in sea-to-land incursions, assassinations, counterterrorism, sabotage, and other belligerent acts - not crowd control, “so a civilian opposition would not necessarily be their area of expertise,” a mission Israeli police could have handled.

Friedman omitted what Today’s Zaman reported (an English language Turkish daily) on June 7, stating:

“Turkish Deputy Prime Minister Cemil Cicek (said) Turkish citizens who were injured or killed were subjected to serious torture, and this much is evident from traces left on their bodies as well as from bullet shots, most of which were fired at close range.”

The paper’s photographer, Kursat Bayhan, was on the Mavi Marmara and related his “30 hours in cell number 5202″ in Beer-Sheva Prison. All their belongings were taken. They were body-searched, handcuffed, photographed, forced to sign a document saying they weren’t harmed, those requesting return of their luggage and passports then beaten, how Israel treats virtually all detainees.

Fallout from the Flotilla Massacre

Joshua Landis is Director of the Center for Middle East Studies and Professor of Middle East Studies at the University of Oklahoma. On his June 1 web site posting, Syria Comment, he headlined, “Israel Pays High Price for Attack on Turkish Flotilla with Aid for Gaza,” saying the damage is mounting:

– Greece “decided to discontinue the joint military exercise currently under way and to postpone” the Athens visit of Israel’s air force general staff head, scheduled for June 1;

– Turkey recalled its ambassador, and its foreign minister says “relations are irreparable;”

– Netanyahu had to cancel his important Washington visit;

– an emergency UN Security Council session was called, no surprise afterward that Washington prevented any meaningful resolution;

– “Obama will try to distance the US from Israel in due course. What choice does he have? Israel is increasingly a millstone around America’s neck;”

– China got Washington to agree to exempt its companies from US measures for doing business with Iran for whatever new sanctions it agreed to;
– “Negotiations will now become harder and more costly for the US as the world largely sees (its) effort to punish Iran to be driven by Israeli concerns. Iran hardly threatens the US,” Israel or any other nation.

On May 31 in Foreign Policy, Professor Stephen Walt headlined “Israel’s latest brutal blunder,” saying:

“What could Israel’s leaders have been thinking? How could they possibly believe that a deadly assault against a humanitarian mission in international waters would play to their advantage?” Actions like this galvanize efforts to “delegitimize the country….This latest escapade is as bone-headed as the 2006 war in Lebanon” and Cast Lead. They provide “more evidence of the steady deterioration in Israel’s strategic thinking that we have witnessed since 1967.”

Importantly, the Flotilla attack “poses a broader threat to US national interests” because the world associates Israel’s actions with Washington, given the “unbreakable bonds” between them. It’s clear that “the special relationship with Israel has become a net liability.” Tel Aviv portraying itself as a blameless victim is wearing thin, a shameless canard, increasingly likely ahead to fall on deaf ears.

On January 19, 2009, after Cast Lead, Walt addressed “The Myth of Israel’s strategic genius,” saying:

The record shows otherwise. Israel’s military victories are often strategic failures, showing it’s expert only at shooting itself in the foot, so far at least without consequences, but for how long.

According to noted Israeli supporter Leon Wieseltier, its settlements project was another “moral and strategic blunder of historic proportions,” one, in fact, “never openly debated within the Israeli body politic,” but taken behind closed doors.

For decades, Israel has stumbled from one strategic blunder to another, showing there’s “no reason to think (it) possesses uniquely gifted strategists or a national security establishment that consistently makes smart and far-sighted choices.”

Yet remarkably, some of its most incompetent leaders, including Ehud Barak, Ehud Olmert, Ariel Sharon, and Netanyahu are rewarded with new chances to repeat mistakes, perhaps because of Washington’s unflagging support, but for how long, given the price America pays for damaged goods, compounding its own appalling record abroad and at home with a shelf life of definite limits and an ability to preserve it running out of cash.

Perhaps also its willingness to stick with a dubious partner, the same problem Washington faces with allies, sooner or later to get fed up and walk away, cutting their losses to advantage their own futures. The same ones Americans should consider for their own welfare, and assess how far they’ll go to defend it.

New Law Protects Internet Privacy Rights - Warman vs Fourniers and John Does

On April 8, 2010, a precedent-setting case regarding internet law was heard in the Ontario Divisional Court.

The case was an Appeal of a lower court motion decision in the case of Warman vs Fourniers and John Does. The ruling being appealed stated that the defendants were to turn over personal information such as IP addresses and email addresses for anonymous posters who were alleged to have defamed the plaintiff. The defendants’ position was that online anonymity should be protected until it is clear that there is a strong case that a “John Doe” has broken the law.

The Divisional Court decision that was released this afternoon changed the rules of disclosure in civil litigation so that plaintiffs must now prove a prima facie case against John Does before site administrators are required to turn over personal information about them. The ruling states, in part:

In addition, because this proceeding engages a freedom of expression interest, as well as a privacy interest, a more robust standard is required to address the chilling effect on freedom of expression that will result from disclosure….

…In the circumstances of a website promoting political discussion, the possibility of a defence of fair comment reinforces the need to establish the elements of defamation on a prima facie basis in order to have due consideration to the interest in freedom of expression.

Freedom of Speech for Anonymous Posters upheld. Richard Warman loses appeal and ordered to pay $10k in costs

[44] Returning to the decision of the motions judge, it would appear that he did not have the benefit of the extensive submissions on these issues provided to the Court by the two interveners in this proceeding. Notwithstanding, it is clear that he was alert to the need to take into consideration that privacy interests of the unknown alleged wrongdoers. It does not appear, however, that the need to consider the interest in freedom of expression was raised by the parties or was otherwise considered by the motions judge.

[45] In addition, the motions judge did not take into consideration whether the Respondent had established a prima facie case of defamation before ordering disclosure of the documents sought by the Respondent. In our view, the omission to do so constituted an error of law.

[46] Accordingly, the appeal is allowed and the matter is remitted to a different motions judge for re-consideration based on the principles set out above.

Costs

[47] The interveners do not seek costs in respect of this appeal. The appellants [Mark and Connie Fournier] are entitles to costs on a partial indemnity basis payable by the Respondent [Richard Warman] in the amount of $10,000 on an all inclusive basis in respect of the motion, leave to appeal and the hearing of the appeal.

CCLA welcomes Divisional Court decision to protect internet anonymity

The Divisional Court released its decision in the case Warman v. Fournier, Fournier and John Does 1-8, which dealt with anonymous internet commentators. The question before the Court was whether a party to a lawsuit should be automatically forced to disclose identifying information about an anonymous commentator simply because a statement of claim had been filed. The Court recognized CCLA’s concerns regarding privacy and freedom of expression, stating that “[if] disclosure were automatic, a plaintiff with no legitimate claim could misuse the Rules of Civil Procedure by commencing an unmeritrous action for the sole purpose of revealing the identity of anonymous internet commentators, with a view to stifling such commentators and deterring others from speaking out on controversial issues.”

CCLA had argued that, while the internet should not be used as a shield to allow individuals to break the law, neither should a simple request to the courts result in the disclosure of identifying information. Highly personal communication occurs online. Indeed, many use online anonymity as a way to explore difficult issues (political, legal, sexual, medical, etc.) that they might not feel free to explore publicly. The internet is a highly accessible democratic forum, with virtually limitless opportunities for discussion and debate. Court orders that force individuals to reveal the identity of those who choose to participate anonymously could chill this rigorous discussion, particularly on sensitive personal topics. Anonymity on the internet should not be compromised simply because a private individual has filed a statement of claim.

In a unanimous ruling, the Court set out four considerations which must be taken into account to determine whether disclosure should be ordered:

1. whether the unknown alleged wrongdoer could have a reasonable expectation of anonymity in the particular circumstances;

2. whether the Respondent has established a prima facie case against the unknown alleged wrongdoer and is acting in good faith;

3. whether the Respondent has taken reasonable steps to identify the anonymous party and has been unable to do so; and

4. whether the public interests favouring disclosure outweigh the legitimate interests of freedom of expression and right to privacy of the persons sought to be identified if the disclosure is ordered.

Court Decision Protects Online Anonymity

The Ontario Divisional Court released a unanimous decision today that will protect the anonymity of online speakers.  The court held that before the identity of anonymous online users accused of defamation can be revealed, the plaintiff must convince the court there is an adequate basis for ordering such disclosure.  This overturns a lower court’s decision that identities must be disclosed automatically.

It is always traumatic to be targeted by criminal elements. To be repeatedly targeted in the manner Rabbi Lerner and other devotees to Tikkun have been the target of death threats and the like, even prior to last night’s disturbing act of vandalism against the Rabbi’s home. Each and every incident can be looked on as separate acts to extort, all aiming to violate these people’s rights to freedom of speech and freedom of expression.

Extortion is also a criminal act, is it not?

The only difference is all the physical evidence left to indicate motivation, this time, leading directly back to a highly suspect group of possible perpetrators who fit the personalities of those who drag hapless Canadians before the Canadian Human Rights Tribunal on charges of hate-crimes (anti-Semitic to be precise) where they happen to be critical of Israeli foreign policy, the traditional historical record and/or the rising State of Zionism.

Arthur Topham of www.radicalpress.com fame is one such Canadian currently accused of inciting hate, has been brought to task by a regular consumer of “human rights” products, one Harry Abram. Arthur claims among other things in his defense, that his reference to “Zionism” and the “State of Zionism” is purely political, not a religious or racial slur.

Yet here in your case, the police say that this is not a hate crime because it is aimed at your political stance against the State of Zionism, not your religious affiliation. Yet I’ll venture to say that you’ve been labeled as “a self-hating Jew”. That, to me, sounds “anti-Semitic”.

Am I the only one who sees a glaring contradiction, here, between the definition being thrust upon Mr. Topham for his political views, and the definition that the police provided in your case, Rabbi Lerner?

If you ask me, in both Arthur’s case and in yours, it all boils down to extorting our individual right to freedom of speech and expression, whether it is religious or political in nature. No one here is inciting hatred or violating the rights of others, except it seems, for some factions who sympathize with such extreme right-wing partisan actions as has been amply demonstrated by this latest attack on the freedoms of Rabbi Lerner, extending beyond his right to freedom of speech and political expression, violating his right to enjoy the peace, the tranquility, and the sanctity and security of his own home.

Naturally, this would extend to include Rabbi Lerner’s family, friends and colleagues, all of whom, as the police have pointed out, are also the targets in this latest attack against the efforts of any and all who support the good Rabbi in his efforts towards peace, harmony and love among all earthlings who inhabit this precious planet, people included, no matter what their race, religion or ethnicity. It could be argued that all of our common problems stem from irrational, conflicted, self-gratifying political ideologies.

Or as Howard Laswell put it: Politics: Who Gets What, When, How (1936), later penning The Garrison State (1941). Like both Rabbi Lerner and Arthur Topham, Laswell was wildly critiqued for publishing his daring perspective into the shape, the shapers and the purpose for evolving political ideologies. It is abundantly evident that for political ideologies to evolve as intended, open, intelligent debate simply will not be tolerated, as we head towards a globally-affected “garrison state”, populated by great masses of the “restless poor”, and pacified by the military might of a privileged few. Those of us who stand firm on a common platform in support of peace, justice and equality for all, stand squarely in the way of all oppressive agendas. Oppression in all its forms is the primary strategy at work against us, and to exercise our right to speak the truth is our most versatile counter-strategy, both as a shield and to swing back with. The truth can only prevail once it has been amply revealed to that critical mass that gives such weight to the power of public opinion.

Rabbi Lerner’s Home Attacked by Right-Wing Zionists

Berkeley police today confirmed that the attack on Rabbi Lerner’s home late Sunday May 2nd or early morning Sunday May 3rd was in fact a crime and was being investigated.

The attackers used a powerful form of glue to attach posters to his door and around the property of his home attacking Lerner personally, and attacking liberals and progressives as being supporters of terrorism and “Islamo-fascism.” They posted a printed bumper sticker saying “fight terror–support Israel” next to a caricature of Judge Goldstone whose UN report on Israel’s human rights violations in its attack on Gaza last year has been denounced as anti-Semitic and pro-terror by right wingers in Israel and the U.S.. The caricature has Goldstone talking about his being kept from his grandson’s bar mitzvah, and the caricature of Rabbi Lerner responds by saying “any enemy of Israel is a friend of mine.” This attack and vandalism follows on a week filled with Lerner and Tikkun staff receiving hate mail, prompted apparently by Tikkun’s announcement that in case the South African Zionists had succeeded in preventing Judge Goldstone from attending his grandson’s bar mitzvah, as they threatened several weeks ago, that Rabbi Lerner would gladly hold the bar mitzvah in the SF Bay Area instead, and following Tikkun’s announcement that in light of Goldstone’s courageous willingness to stand up for human rights in Israel (his report called on the Israeli government to do its own independent, public and credibly objective investigation, punish those responsible for the crimes or show that they didn’t happen, and thereby show that these actions were not government policy but the mistakes or evil choices by people in the IDF who were acting as rogue elements and not as a manifestation of the people of Israel) that Tikkun will award our prestigious Tikkun Award to Judge Goldstone in 2011 at the event celebrating our 25th anniversary! This story, which was prominent in Ha’aretz and many other Jewish magazines and websites, has intensified anger against Lerner and Tikkun among those who seek to perpetuate the Occupation, and great support among those who realize that the Occupation is really hurtful both to Israel and to the Jewish people world-wide.

In the 24 years of Tikkun’s operation, we have received many death threats and vicious hate mail, including phone calls to our office announcing that “Rabbi Lerner is dead” and others saying “We will kill all of you.” This particular attack has two worrisome elements not previously there: 1. They attack Rabbi Lerner’s home. As law enforcement people told us, this is a way of conveying the message to Lerner: “We know where you live, we know your house is vulnerable, so don’t ignore our threats.”  2. By linking Lerner to alleged terrorism, they provide for themselves and other extremists a “right-wing justification” to use violence against Lerner, even though Lerner has been a prominent advocate of non-violence. He regularly critiques Palestinian acts of violence when they occur, including the shelling of Israeli towns by Hamas,  just as he critiques the violence of the Israeli occupation, and as he critiques the US war in Iraq and Afghanistan, the occupation of Chechny by Russia, the occupation of Tibet by China, the human rights violations against their own people by the rulers of Iran, the acts of violence of those resisting the US occupation of Iraq and Afghanistan, the violence against women and homosexuals in many Arab and African countries (and in the US and Israel as well), the genocide in Darfur, the violence against Jews in some parts of Europe, and the list goes on.

Needless to say, this latest attack, on Lerner’s home, has caused great concern to his family.

What can you do? Let people know that this kind of thing is happening in the Jewish world to people who critique Israeli policies.

Polish Plane Crash:  Accident or Katyn Massacre II?

“Rabbis absent themselves from flight at last moment because they say they could not fly to say prayers on the Sabbath”

I’ve long supported normalization of relations between Poland and Russia.  Mainly because I see Poland being set up for a replay of 1939, with similar bad consequences for it.   The stationing of so-called defensive missiles in Poland being the first chapter.  The death-by-plane-crash of a big chunk of Poland’s government and intelligentsia–just as they were making history by dealing with Mr. Putin and Russia–is a setback for those (like me) who’d like to see Poland survive the next world war.

In the mid 1930s, Poland was encouraged with false and/or unfulfillable defense promises to goad Germany into starting the Second World War.  Roosevelt, Churchill and Samuel Untermeyer got their war and Poland quickly got overrun and divided by Germany and the USSR.  On the orders of Stalin and certain Jewish Communist officials, 20,000 Poles–the officers and nobility who were the cream of Poland’s elite–were treacherously murdered at Katyn Forest.  And the crime was blamed on the Germans, when the Allies knew full well their “ally” had done it.  I have no doubts the crime was approved at the highest levels in London and Washington (and New York) and this while Polish soldiers bravely gave their lives fighting for the “Allied” cause.

Actually, were it not for the bravery of some of the murdered Poles in stopping the Red Army as it attempted to sweep across Europe in the aftermath of the First World War, all of Europe would have been forcibly converted into a Judeo-Communist abbatoir.

Poland was not to be spared further treachery.  After Roosevelt’s sellout at Yalta, Poland was abandoned to communism and years of killing of Polish POWs and privation and occupation by the USSR it’s “reward”.

And now this.  What are we to make of it?  The official story is that the plane was an old clunker, the pilot ignored four orders not to land and to divert to Belarus, the plane clipped trees in the fog, there were two explosions, and everyone on board was killed.   So blown up, in fact, all of the dead fit into two Russian helicopters.

What we are not hearing in the media is that the rabbinic delegation absented itself from the plane at the last moment when it learned the flight was to take place on the Sabbath (!–see the complete story at the end of this article.)

“A Jewish delegation from Poland, including the American-born Chief Rabbi Michael Schudrich, was spared from certain death by refusing to violate the Sabbath to fly with President Lech Kaczynski.
The president, his wife, his military chief of staff and senior political leaders were killed on Saturday when the plane crashed en route to a Russian city.
The Jewish delegation was supposed to fly with the president, according to Warsaw Rabbi Meir Stembler. “The delegation canceled its participation after it was understood that that plane was to fly on the Sabbath,” he said.”

(This brings to mind the many Jews absent from the WTC towers on 9-11 because they went to hear a speech by Ariel Sharon, which was curiously canceled prior to the attacks.)

Can rabbis travel on the Sabbath to administer a blessing or say “kaddish” over the dead–which is what these non-flying rabbis were supposed to do?  I’m guessing the answer is “yes”.  And, as the Jewish religious press has graciously asked:  Why were so many Polish officials (dangerously) together on the same plane?

Commentator James Buchanan (link to article follows) makes some observations about fortuitous plane accidents, including one that killed the Polish prime minister (in exile) after he learned the real story of Katyn in 1943.  It’s not that hard to arrange a plane accident, as at least three former members of the Kennedy family–including Joe Kennedy, Jr. and John Kennedy, Jr.–could testify!

Buchanan points out that the Polish presidential plane had a complete overhaul in 2009 and the model of Tupelov that had been involved in accidents was sound and that the cited accidents took place in remote areas where maintenance was not so good.

He also indicates that the now-deceased Polish leader had drawn flak from the Jewish press for incorporating alleged “anti-Semitic” elements in his latest coalition government.

Now we have to wait for the analysis of the black boxes and the alleged accident under Mr. Putin’s direct supervision–the Russians have also offered visas to any Polish experts who want to come and inspect the evidence.  This could be the challenge of a lifetime.  Any hint of murder on the part of the Russians will turn the suspicious Poles permanently against them.  If the plane was brought down, it could turn out to have been done by elements of the “Russian” mafia and/or some outside country engaged in a covert war with the Russians.  To my thinking, it doesn’t make sense for Putin and Medvedev to have done it as they had apparently devoted considerable effort to wooing Poland and appeared to be having some success.

I’m here to talk about free speech. I’m not here to practice it.

Unlike Ann Coulter, I don’t need a warning from the provost. I am a Canadian, trained by law in the way of silence, sullen silence, and code language. I have been trained by the Supreme Court not to engage in hate speech, even though no one can define it in advance, so I can avoid it.

There are general taboo topics which I must avoid or tread lightly around, like race, religion, ethnic origin, sex, sexual orientation, mental or physical disability or mental status. Then there are peripheral taboo topics like multiculturalism, immigration, affirmative action programs and a host of other ill-defined topics.

I have been trained to remain very sensitive to the broad political implications of these topics lest I face a very expensive lesson from the Human Rights Tribunal.

What the Supreme Court taught me when I appeared in Taylor and Zundel and Keegstra was that free speech has its limits in “hate” which means “extreme dislike.” So presumably I must like all races, religions, ethnic origins, etc. equally or at least dislike them only moderately. Or at least pretend to, which is more Canadian. I cannot denounce any one as evil.

The Law Society, through its decision of Harvey Strosberg taught me that if I speak in public, “law students” may tape some but not all of my words, and the Chairman of the Discipline Committee can issue a statement to the media condemning me as “identifying with a lunatic fringe,” even in the very act where he decides not to give me the benefit of a hearing where I could answer the allegation with evidence where both sides could be heard.

I learned in McAleer and Malcolm Ross, both of which went to the Supreme Court of Canada, that expressing your religious beliefs on your own time, is no defence and placing the messages in the United States where it is legal, is no defence if you mention where you can get the message to someone in Canada.

I learned that our parliamentarians of all parties love free speech so much that they banned someone from the precincts of Parliament who wanted to rent the parliamentary press gallery, a place anyone can rent for a press conference.

What was the press conference about? That the Human Rights Tribunal had ruled in Zundel’s case that “Truth was no defence,” and the truth of the statement could not be proven by any evidence. I know because that someone was me, the only lawyer in Canadian history to be banned by all party agreement from the precincts of parliament. Because in Canada truth is no defence. Orwell was right about double speak. Randy White a so-called Reform MP said he did not want me in his work place. Orwell was right about a lot of things.

I have learned and been carefully taught to avoid the taboo topics, to measure every word lest a tape recorder in the audience be taken to the Human Rights Commission, the police, the Law Society, or someone likes to complain to the Human Rights Commission.

I have learned to talk about free speech but never practice it. Never say anything like Ann Coulter would say, coming from a free society. And being in a university setting is all the more reason to be very careful about how you choose your words. The left-wing political giants who run most universities are able to let loose the mob with a wink and the students know their success with many professors depends on how successfully they can entrap a political foe.

Universities are the most dangerous place to practice free speech. Even topics like abortion which you would not normally think involve a taboo topic can quickly be spun into forbidden territory and sexism can result in expulsion or criminal charges. The civility of universities is accorded to those who can mobilize the largest screaming mob. No one listens.

I have to even be careful how I speak about Freedom of Speech.

The Attacks on Pope Benedict - a Conspiracy of Man - or God?

Over the centuries many sorts of masquers have bored deep into the bowels of the Roman Catholic Church. Some of these have even occupied the papal throne; others were content to be the power behind that throne.

King Henry VIII first received the theological justification for his divorce from Catherine of Aragon from the Neoplatonic brotherhood inside the Vatican; out of said fraternity would emerge Dr. John Dee, the Protestant magician who, using the Hermetic and Kabbalistic cunning of the Roman Catholic magician Marsilio Ficino, furnished William Cecil with the mind control keys and mass persuasion techniques that gained him the rule of England through a reanimated goddess Isis who is known to history as Queen Elizabeth I.

Very few believing Catholics ever glimpse this hidden reality, and when they are so privileged as to gain a fleeting vision of it, they run from it, so threatening is it to the papal Caesarism to which they kowtow like the pagan subjects of Kubla Khan. Jesus Christ did not come to institute slavish and cowering obedience to mere men, however elaborately costumed or adored. He came to save souls, which is the highest law, a law recognized by only a few churchmen, such as the late French Archbishop Marcel Lefebvre, who defied Popes Paul VI and John Paul II for that very reason.

Behind the scenes of the competing Catholic and Protestant churches exists a golden thread, a rainbow bridge if you will, that unites initiates in both camps who, believing they possess godlike powers derived from the secret gnosis of the Corpus Hermeticum, are above the morality they publicly preach, beyond good and evil, and united in processing humankind toward a “higher” destiny without the knowledge or consent of those being processed. This is the age-old mandate of the pagan-occult imperium.

Shortly before the latest uproar over pederasty within the Roman Catholic Church, a Vatican exorcist announced that the devil was active in the Vatican, even at the highest levels. Prior to this not exactly  unexpected revelation, Pope Benedict XVI completed the third of his pilgrimages to the Synagogue, the latest, on Jan. 17, at Rome itself, where this papal Judas gave every encouragement to the assembled Pharisees.

Most recently he has appointed a member of the secret society of Opus Dei to head the powerful diocese of Los Angeles, California, after child-molestation enabler and obstructor of justice Cardinal Roger Mahony retires next year with his pension intact and full church honors accorded to this patron of pederasty.

Certain Catholic automatons have marched forth, decrying a purported “media conspiracy” of “gossip” against the pope. But are the troubles that have befallen this pope a conspiracy of man, or a curse of God?

How long do the vassals of Rome imagine that God will be mocked by popes who make common cause with the ideological and spiritual descendants of those who stoned, laid hands upon and conspired in the murder of His Divine Son?

Pope John Paul II, the modern champion of the Synagogue and the first pope in history to enter its precincts as a supplicant, spent the final years of his pontificate as a hunchback, drooling spittle onto his breast. Unless he repents and makes reparation, Pope Benedict XVI can no more escape the wrath of God than did his predecessor.

If Benedict is besieged now, it may be payback for his treason to the Gospel of Jesus Christ, notwithstanding his provisional revival of the old Latin Mass, which he has integrated into a neo-Catholic hybrid Church of Holocaustianity, whereby Auschwitz is rendered far more sacred than Calvary, a revolutionary betrayal made tolerable now that it is accompanied by Tridentine incense and Gregorian chant.

Those badly deceived persons who make common cause with this pontiff might wish to consider what fate may be in store if they do not switch their allegiance from Benedict to Jesus.

Dear Hon. Doug Finley,

Warm spring greetings to you from central B.C.

I’m sure that by now your inbox is overflowing like the psalmist’s proverbial cup with congratulatory messages from around the country and most likely around the world as a result of your courageous and patriotic message on freedom of speech given to fellow senators on March 25, 2010.

Please allow me, as yet another proud Canadian who truly understands the value of our historic right to this most cherished of freedoms, to add to the bounteous expressions of praise and gratitude that you so well deserve.

It is always a welcome occurrence to hear someone in your position speak out for rights that so many of our fellow Canadians gave their lives for in order to ensure that future generations might benefit from their ultimate sacrifice. And to have those concerns embellished with the thoughts of great persons throughout history who were able to phrase such cogent sentiments – people like Benjamin Franklin, Voltaire, Orwell and the great Milton not to mention our own exemplars, Liberal Prime Minister Wilfred Laurier and Joseph Howe – only added an additional depth of perspicacity to what I felt was a most prescient and important speech.

I would also like to thank you for speaking out on the deplorable situation that arose here in Canada as a result of the scheduled visit to our country by the American political commentator Ann Coulter. That example, among many other recent cases, certainly brought to the forefront the dangerous trend we’ve seen occurring in our nation with respect to this present danger to our fundamental right to freedom of speech.

As you rightfully stated in regard to this incident, “Too many Canadians, especially those in positions of authority, have replaced the real human right of freedom of speech with a counterfeit human right not to be offended.” Those were true words indeed and most applicable to our times.

As well, your remarks with respect to offensive opinions versus deliberate acts wherein someone counsels violence are extremely relevant to what is taking place within the context of the Human Rights commissions and their attendant Tribunals where truth no longer is considered valid and the sensibilities of particular individuals or groups have begun to trump what once were clearly defined laws as contained in Canada’s 1960 Bill of Rights and our more recent section 2 of the 1982 Charter of Rights and Freedoms.

In essence Mr. Finley you’ve encapsulated in a somewhat terse speech the growing anxiety felt among many Canadians today who sense that their legal rights are being sidelined and subverted by special interest groups and individuals who have taken it upon themselves to exploit what in retrospect appears to have been misguided and hastily conceived legislation such as that contained in sec. 13(1) of the Canadian Human Rights Act; legislation enacted during a period of intense fear and terror brought on by the tragic events of 911. It is precisely this piece of pithy legislation that the Canadian Human Rights Commission is now using to destroy the very traditions that you’ve so succinctly outlined in your speech to the senate.

I thought it was most apropos Mr. Finley that you brought up the case of the young newspaper publisher Joseph Howe in Nova Scotia who was charged with seditious libel for having exposed some Halifax politicians. This naturally leads to my final comments respecting the nature and intent of your speech and its applicability to my own situation.

Like Joseph Howe, I too am a former newspaper publisher and currently, in the new times of the Internet, an online publisher and also like Joseph Howe I too have been charged with a crime although, unfortunately for me, it wasn’t seditious libel, as serious as that charge may be. Had it been I would have been given the opportunity to defend myself within an actual court of law where today, as opposed to Howe’s day, the norm is that truth is a defence. But, as fate would have it, I was charged under sec. 13(1) of the CHR Act back in November of 2007 with what amounts to a thought crime and to date my struggle to fend off this attack against my good name and my sole proprietorship, RadicalPress.com is still wending its way through the quasi-judicial process that you have clearly identified as having “egregiously violated freedom of speech without any shame.”

My case, currently identified within the files of the Canadian Human Rights Tribunal as Harry Abrams and The League For Human Rights of B’nai Brith Canada v. Arthur Topham and RadicalPress.com, File Number: T1360/9008, like 99% of all similar sec. 13(1) cases, is being fought solely by myself due to the reality that I could not afford to hire a competent lawyer and therefore was forced to act in a pro se capacity.

After more than two years of litigation and constant stress and the inability to work in a regular fashion the toll taken upon my business and my person and my family has been unduly harsh and to date there is no end in sight unless this vexatious and undemocratic legislation is removed from the statutes and those who have misused it are held accountable.

I would kindly remind you that in your call for an inquiry into the erosion of freedom of speech here in Canada you requested five things, the third one being: “to show moral support for those who are battling censors.” That call Mr. Finley, rings loud and clear right across this great nation and finds a resonant place directly within the mind and heart of the author of this letter to you. At no greater time could such a welcome show of support appear than during this dark hour of oppression that has plagued my name, my business, my family and my sacred and sacrosanct rights held under Canada’s beleaguered Constitution.

I ask this support not only for myself but for all those who have had their names and reputations and livelihood tarnished and threatened by these egregious and unjust laws and remain,

Write your Senator and demand an inquiry on the Erosion of Freedom in Canada.

Dear Friends of Freedom:

On March 30 2010, Senator Doug Finley rose in the Senate of Canada and publicly asked for an inquiry on the erosion of freedom of speech in Canada.

Freespeechers and Bloggers need to unite and make our views known to all Senators.  Freedom of speech is a fundamental right and we need to express our support for Senator Finley’s request for an inquiry.

Please put aside some time and write a letter to all senators demanding they proceed with calling the inquiry.

Senator Finey stated:

“Honourable senators, I call for this inquiry to accomplish five things: first, to reaffirm that freedom of speech is a great Canadian principle that goes back hundreds of years; second, to put Canada’s censors on notice that their days of infringing upon our freedoms with impunity are over; third, to show moral support for those who are battling censors; fourth, to inquire into the details of what went so desperately wrong at the University of Ottawa to ensure that those awful events never happen again; and, fifth, to inspire a debate that hopefully will lead to a redefinition of section 13.1 of the Human Rights Act.

Honourable senators, there are times for partisan debate when parties must naturally be at odds with one another. This is not one of those times. Freedom of speech and respect for differing views is a foundational principle of our entire parliamentary system — indeed, of our entire legal system, as well.”

The words by Senator Finley are a call to Canadians to get involved.   He went on to say that “If we can rededicate our Parliament to protecting this most important right, we will have done our country a great service, but if we fail to stop and indeed reverse this erosion of freedom, we will have failed our most basic duty, the duty to uphold our constitution and the rights in it, the rights it guarantees for all Canadians.”

Dear Senator;

I am writing today to express my support for your March 30, 2010 statement in the Senate of Canada on the Erosion of Freedom of Speech in Canada.  I would welcome a Senate inquiry on freedom of speech.

By way of background, I have been battling the fanatical Canadian Human Rights Commission for the past seven years.  Back in 2003 a complaint was filed against my website, the Freedomsite [ http://www.freedomsite.org ] which alleged that my website promoted hatred and/or contempt in violation of Section 13 of the Canadian Human Rights Act.  In September 2009, after a 32 day hearing, I was completely exonerated for alleged hate speech, and Section 13 was found to be unconstitutional.  Although the case took 6 years, and in the end I “won”, I was not able to claim a cent of compensation for dragging me though the system.

As a result of my 6 year persecution, I have amassed the largest collection of critical material on the CHRC and their systemic corruption.  These documents show the abuse, totalitarianism and corruption of the CHRC.  If an inquiry is called, I would like to present some of this shocking information to the Senate.

The information which I have uncovered includes:

• CHRC theft of internet communications
• CHRC staff signing onto questionable websites and entrapping people
• CHRC staff’s contempt for freedom of speech, including their testimony that “Freedom of speech is an American concept”
• 99% conviction rate before the Tribunal
• The corrupt investigations of the CHRC, which includes dismissing a complaint because it was a “double-sided” fax
• CHRC exchanging information with Police and others, thus usurping safeguards in criminal law
• CHRC contravening the Canada Post Act, by setting up mail drops in Ottawa, to send out hate posters to receive mail under false names
• CHRC editing court transcripts to remove explosive testimony about the CHRC #1 complainer,  then distributing copies of the doctored transcripts to members of the media
• Decision from the Office of the Privacy Commission, chastising the CHRC for refusing to release information

The CHRC: an Affront to all Canadians

Canadians are sick and tired of the totalitarianism of the Canadian Human Rights Commission and their obsession to restrict freedom of speech on the Internet. Editorials from every major newspaper across Canada have demanded that Section 13 of the Canadian Human Rights Act needs to be scrapped.  The Canadian “Human Rights” Commission (CHRC) has become the single largest threat to freedom of expression, religion and personal beliefs in Canada’s History.

Sections 13 and 54 of the Canadian Human Rights Act are a direct attack on the freedom of expression guaranteed to us under the Charter of Rights and Freedoms. The provisions of these sections allow the Canadian Human Rights Tribunal to prosecute anyone alleged to have said or written something “likely to expose a person or persons to hatred or contempt” whether there is a living, breathing victim or not.

Vague concepts such as speech or writing “liable to cause hatred or contempt” are the basis of expensive state-funded prosecution of individuals. The statute provides no objective legal test for “hate” or any objective means of determining what constitutes “contempt”. As a result, the CHRC is used by various groups and individuals, as a risk-free taxpayer funded method to silence their critics and those they disagree with. CHRC investigators have testified that that “freedom of speech is an American concept” and therefore not valid in Canada. Such statements are contrary to the Charter of Rights and Freedoms, but are standard operating procedure at the CHRC.

Commissioners of the Canadians Human Rights Tribunal, who are not judges and are often not even lawyers, have held that “truth” is not a defence against prosecution under Section 13.  Intent or fair comment are also not defenses.  In fact, there is not a single listed defence under Section 13! Because of the lack of any defenses, the Tribunal has a 99% conviction rate since 1978. The Canadian Human Rights Tribunal routinely ignores the principles of fundamental justice, such as the rules of evidence, and these kangaroo courts, even allow hearsay evidence.  The CHRA provides for each Tribunal to make up the rules as they go.

Every journalist, writer, Internet webmaster, publisher and private citizen in Canada can be the subject of a Human Rights complaint for expressing an opinion or telling the truth. Given the ambiguity of Section 13, it is virtually impossible for any individual to determine if they might be in violation of Section 13. Arbitrary censorship and punishment are wrong, and cannot be justified in a free society.

“Human Rights Commissions, as they are evolving, are an attack on our fundamental freedoms and the basic existence of a democratic society…It is in fact totalitarianism. I find this is very scary stuff.”

Hallmarks of Suppression

1: The Canadian Human Rights Commission and Tribunal are not fair, and make arbitrary decisions based on who an accused is rather than on a fair and impartial application of the statute they enforce. High profile accused, such as Macleans, Mark Steyn and Ezra Levant are given a free pass, while others, less prominent and lacking the resources to hire legal council are relentlessly prosecuted. This creates a chill on the freedom of expression since there is no discernible “line” between speech that is prohibited and speech that is “acceptable” to the CHRC.

2: The CHRC pays no heed to constitutionally protected rights such as Freedom of Expression. In place they use imaginary “rights” such as the “right to be free from contempt”. There is no such right in our Charter. Both the CHRC and the Attorney General’s office considered freedom of speech to be an American concept that does not apply to Canadians. The CHRC only believes in “group” rights, and not the rights of individuals to “speak truth to power”, hence the 99% conviction rate.

3: The CHRC is out of control and is currently under three investigations. CHRC investigators are under criminal investigation by the RCMP for the criminal theft of telecommunications services; the Privacy Commissioner is investigating complaints of CHRC breaches of personal privacy; and CHRC investigation techniques are under review by the Parliamentary Justice Committee. In the meantime, the CHRC continues to apply the law in an arbitrary and capricious manner.

4: The CHRC engages in clandestine spying on Canadians including using aliases to engage others in conversation and writing questionable material while asking for support for views of the alias for use in a subsequent prosecution.

5: The entire process is paid for by taxpayers on behalf of the complainants. The defendants must pay their costs personally. There is no legal aid and there is no way to claim costs, even if the defendants are found innocent.

Over the past few years, the CHRC has tried to bump itself up into a quasi National Security type agency.  Shamelessly, this politically motivated outfit operates in almost complete secrecy, with no rules, no public oversight and continually deflects Access to Information requests over their activities with absurd claims of “security”.

The CHRC has employed some very shady and possibly illegal tactics including;

• Hijacking a private citizens Wireless Internet connection to connect to neo-Nazi websites and print of material and post messages
• infiltration and spying operations on Canadians
• the use of private police databases such as CPIC, (which holds records of millions of Canadians, including data such as dental records, known aliases, addresses, last contact with police, etc)
• infiltration of internet message boards

• telephone record searches

• motor vehicle record searches

• search warrants

• and even tenancy agreements for rental properties.

Because the CHRC is exempt from parliamentary oversight and doesn’t report to a minister, in enjoys carte blanche to do exactly as it pleases.  Inside the CHRC, there are no guidelines on how they need to investigate complaints.  Nor are there any rules on what CHRC employees can do in the course of investigations.  This includes even the totally unacceptable practice of trying to entrap respondents dragged before the CHRC.

Furthermore, to Canada’s great shame, in any Human Rights Commission case, truth is no defence!  It’s a slap in the face of 200 centuries of jurisprudence as intent, malice, effect, fair comment – none of these factors are taken into account by CHRC Tribunals. In fact, if you argue the truth of your statements, it is then used as proof of your guilt, and a rational to increase the amount of fines! Under the legislation there are no defences available. Is it any wonder that from 1977 to 2009 not a single person in over 32 years has ever won?

Tribunals and political inquisitions have no place in Canada. Recently, David Warren writing in the Ottawa Citizen called the Tribunal a “Kangaroo court” and “Star Chamber”. Others have compared them to the Communists, the Nazis, and the medieval Inquisition.  We need to stop the censorship enforcers and let freedom of speech reign. It’s time to abolish the Canadian Human Rights Commission and pack off this shameful censorship outfit to the “embarrassing lapses” dustbin of history.

Vatican compares child molestation scandal to “persecution of the Jews”

This would be hilarious if it were not so depraved and disgusting. The crypto-rabbi wing of Judeo-Churchianity (Rev. Fr. Cantalamessa, Pope Benedict) trying to curry favor, on Good Friday, with the rabbis of the Judeo wing,  compare the uproar over the culture of child-molestation facilitation in the Catholic hierarchy (Mahony, Driscoll, Skylstad still in power; Bernard Law, fugitive from justice, made Arch Priest of a Roman basilica) with the “persecution of the Jews.”

Here we have prima facie evidence that Cantalamessa and his enabler, Pope Benedict, are not Catholic. “Persecution of the Jews” is the historic cry of the Freemasons and rabbis against the saints and theologians of the early and medieval Church.

To claim that worldwide anger over child molestation facilitation by the hierarchy of the Catholic Church is comparable to unjust “persecution of the Jews” is self-indicting. To make this claim on Good Friday is blasphemy. It signifies that the current usurpers who occupy the Church are as phony as the paranoid and megalomaniac ADL [Anti-Defamation League of B’nai Brith. A.T.] that sees “persecution of the Jews” in every stubbed Zionist toe.

Moreover, what is the definition of “persecution of the Jews”? Is it “persecution” when freedom of speech is in place to permit educating the public concerning the murderous racism in the Talmud that inspires Israeli mass murder in Palestine? Is it “persecution” when the stories of execution gas chambers in Auschwitz are questioned by scientists and publishers? Is it “persecution” when Israeli generals are compared to Nazis when they butcher the people of Gaza?

As for “collective” punishment what of the collective punishment of German civilians during and after World War II? What of the ongoing collective punishment of the populations of Lebanon and Palestine by the “state of Israel,” egged on by homicidal maniacs known as Orthodox “settler” rabbis?

If the Vatican was truly Catholic and Christ-like it would announce to the world that every child-molestation facilitator, beginning with Cardinal Roger Mahony in Los Angeles, have been removed from office and shipped to a Trappist monastery while they await state prosecution — with the Vatican fully cooperating with the prosecutors. Bernard Law would be extradited from Vatican City back to Boston to face justice. Instead, the Vatican continues to keep these and other evil bishops (Skylstad, Driscoll ad nauseum) in power while the Vatican sobs about “exaggerated” charges of a culture of child molestation facilitation existing in the Church.

The Vatican is the enemy of the Catholicism of the early and medieval Church, and thus today it appears without shame, on Good Friday, like Martin Gray, author of “For Those I Loved,” a book filled with his sorrowful ordeal as a persecuted Judaic “Holocaust Survivor” who was supposedly forced to help clear bodies out of the Treblinka “gas chamber.” In truth, Gray and his book were fakes. In fact, he was a decorated officer in the Soviet NKVD  responsible for the murder of Christians and gentiles, posing as a poor persecuted Chosen One. This is the pattern of despicable fraud and shetl chicanery which the pope and his papal household preacher, sunk  in the ethos of Holocaustianity, mount as an alibi and imitate as a form of self-defense.

Alas, the rabbinic racketeers will never surrender their monopoly on persecution to the hated papacy, even when the “Holy See” is occupied by a co-conspirator who is so inept he imagines he can grab a share of the persecution paranoia and co-opt Judaism’s most cherished, trademarked brand. Consequently this disgraceful Vatican pandering to the ideological heirs of those who demanded the death of Jesus, is now backfiring.

Note that in a palimpsest of falsification, the Zionist media keeps the pressure on Benedict by portraying this agent of the Synagogue as quasi antisemitic. This ruse serves a two-fold function: 1. it keeps Benedict pandering ever more to the rabbis, offering ever more craven concessions and servile compromise; and 2. it gives the 39-watt filaments of the Remnant newspaper types within traditional Catholicism the opportunity to claim that poor, pitiful Pope Benedict is a Catholic bastion against the synagogue! (Somewhere the masters of the Zohar are grinning).

It’s fairly evident from the manner in which this case was handled that the Zionist-controlled media in Canada and elsewhere doesn’t want the issue of Bush the Barbarous brought to the attention of the general public. A protracted trial in which credible authorities might offer evidence in the defense of the accused and, God forbid, Splitting the Sky is given an opportunity to actually voice his convictions, is not the Zionist way of doing business. Both these institutions (and others) bear witness to the fact that our civil and legal infrastructures are firmly in the hands of foreign, seditious entities who are using them for power and control and manipulation of the collective mindset of the Canadian public while their subsidiary organs of control, i.e. the multinational corporations, be they oil or ag or pharma or cult or whatever, drain this country of its natural resource wealth and human potential.

Due to the Zionist’s inordinate and immoral power via their financial and media influences men like Anthony J. Bush League Justice in Judge Manfred Delong’s Calgary Court

Judge Manfred Delong shut down the trial of Splitting The Sky versus George W. Bush on the second day of proceedings. The court denied STS his frequently emphasized request to have two witnesses give evidence in his defense. Those witnesses were myself and Cynthia McKinney. The trial came to an end just as Ms. McKinney arrived in Calgary from London. The US-based oil conglomerates active throughout Alberta form the core business constituency of the Prime Minister Stephen Harper, who represents a Calgary riding in Parliament.

The court accepted two documents as evidence for the defense. One is Gail Davidson’s widely disseminated legal opinion for Lawyer’s Against the War. STS and I studied this document closely in the days leading up to my friend being arrested for his arrest attempt. LAW’s legal opinion highlighted some of the evidence, statutes and treaties to brand Bush as a “credibly  accused war criminal” that should not be allowed  into Canada. Prior to Bush’s touching down in Calgary to address an audience of oil executives, Davidson’s documentation was distributed widely to officials of the Harper government and Canada’s Royal Canadian Mounted Police.

The other exhibit for the defense was my own paper that I originally presented at an invited academic venue at the University of Winnipeg. It has been published under a variety of titles on the Internet, including at Global  Research.ca, 911 Blogger.com, 9/11 Truth.org and Voltairenet in both French and English. My initial title for it is “Bush League Justice: Should George W. Bush Be Arrested in Calgary Alberta and Tried for International Crimes?”

Delong will deliver his ruling on June 7. The case for the prosecution both revealed and obscured much about the new police strategies being employed throughout North America to monitor, manage, divide and spin doctor demonstrators seeking to call attention to their political dissent. In my opinion the Crown’s chief agent of prosecution, Tracy Davis, acted more as an advocate and defender of the police rather than as a representative of the Canadian people through Her Majesty as she is required to do according the constitutional tradition of the British Commonwealth.

Dear Radical Reader,

After close to 5 months of silent conspiring the Canadian Human Rights Commission (CHRC) has now filed its documents that will begin the appeal process to try and overturn the Hadjis decision of September 2, 2009; one that basically recognized that sec. 13(1) of the Canadian Human Rights Act was a very flawed piece of machinery and extremely inimical to all Canadians who value their right to freedom of speech and self-expression.

In other words those within our democratic society who are more concerned with stifling and suppressing the rights of all Canadians are hell-bent on keeping this Bolshevik/Zionist/Communist law in place so that they can continue to prosecute, vilify, harass, fine, silence and imprison anyone who desires to express their thoughts and ideas on the unjust and racist/supremacist state of Israel.

As we now know, judging from the actions of our Conservative Prime Minister, Stephen Harper and his Zionist flunky, Jason Kenney, they have sold their souls to the Talmudic Chabad Lubavicher’s and their inglorious “g_d” known as  Zionism.

In my own battle with these nefarious forces, i.e. B’nai Brith Canada, the collusion between this foreign lobbyist agent of Israel is beyond doubt and has been (in my mind) since the beginning of my legal struggles with Mr. Harry Abrams and the League for “Human Rights” of B’nai Brith Canada. It is the very reason that I made the decision to do what I could in order to bring this hidden subject to the attention of the Canadian public in whatever way that I could.

And so the Soviet Show (Trial) resumes once again as this government conjured commissariat, the CHRC and its politically appointed agents now attempt to overthrow the will of the people in order to satisfy the war-lust and greed and insatiable power struggle that Israel represents.

The final outcome of this appeal will settle, once and for all, any illusions that Canadians hold as to the real allegiance of our elected representatives in Ottawa and who it is that controls our federal judiciary.

Constitutional Validity of Section 13 moves to Federal Court

Using tax-payers money, the Canadian Human Rights Commission has finally filed their challenge to the Lemire decision, which found that the thought control legislation of the Canadian Human Rights Act is unconstitutional and a violation of the Charter guaranteed rights to freedom of speech and thought.

The CHRC’s Memorandum of Fact and Law, will be vigorously challenged by supporters of freedom of speech.  Section 13 is Canada’s shameful thought control legislation, and a positive ruling by the Federal Court of Canada, will finally end the 33 year reign of totalitarian censorship by theout of control Canadian Human Rights Commission.

To date, the Attorney General of Canada, has refused to get involved at the Federal Court of Canada to uphold Section 13.   The Attorney General of Canada (assigned to Lemire case by then governing Liberal Party) was active while the case was before the Canadian Human Rights Tribunal, but once the Tribunal ruled the law was unconstitutional, the Attorney General accepted the decision.

According to an Access to Information request filed by Marc Lemire, in late 2009, the Department of Justice raised the issue with the Prime Minister of Canada and his cabinet.  While the actual discussion is censored due to being in the “confines of the Queen’s Privy Council” it is clear that the Conservative Prime Minister and his cabinet ruled to not uphold this censorship legislation.

At the same time of this decision by Harper government, two separate House of Commons subcommittees were investigating the conduct of the out of control Canadian Human Rights Commission.

The CHRC has shown over the years it is willing to go to any lengths and spend as much tax-payers dollars as needed to protect their censorship franchise.  From claiming “National Security” to hid their online infiltration and spying campaign to hacking a private woman’s Internet connection,  nothing is beyond what the CHRC will do.  Ethics guidelines?   Not at the CHRC…

What the CHRC is trying to overturn at the Federal Court
In September 2009, the Canadian Human Rights Tribunal ruled that:

[290] Thus, following the reasoning of Justice Dickson, at 933,one can no longer say that the absence of intent in s. 13(1) “raises no problem of minimal impairment” and “does not impinge so deleteriously upon the s. 2(b) freedom of expression so as to make intolerable” the provision’s existence in a free and democratic society. On this basis, I find that the Oakes minimum impairment test has not been satisfied, and that s. 13(1) goes beyond what can be defended as a reasonable limit on free expression under s. 1 of the Charter.

c) Conclusions with respect to the claim of infringement on the freedom of expression

[295] For all the above reasons, I find that s. 13(1) infringes on Mr. Lemire’s freedom of expression guaranteed under s. 2(b) of the Charter, and that this infringement is not demonstrably justified under s. 1 of the Charter.

[279] This question, however, is not what is relevant to the present discussion. The point is that, when assessed against the characteristics of the penalty provisions enumerated in these decisions, it is evident that s. 13(1) has become more penal in nature (irrespective of whether s. 11 CharterTaylor that s. 13(1)’s limitation of freedom of expression is demonstrably justifiable in a free and democratic society, and thereby “saved” under s. 1 of the Charter. rights are necessarily triggered). The provision can no longer be considered exclusively remedial, preventative and conciliatory in nature, which was at the core of the Court’s finding in

V. CONCLUSION

I have determined that Mr. Lemire contravened s. 13 of the Act in only one of the instances alleged by Mr. Warman, namely theAIDS Secrets article. However, I have also concluded that s. 13(1) in conjunction with ss. 54(1) and (1.1) are inconsistent with s. 2(b) of the Charter, which guarantees the freedom of thought, belief, opinion and expression. The restriction imposed by these provisions is not a reasonable limit within the meaning of s. 1 of the Charter. Since a formal declaration of invalidity is not a remedy available to the Tribunal (see Cuddy Chicks Ltd. V. Ontario (Labour Relations Board), [1991] 2 S.C.R. 5), I will simply refuse to apply these provisions for the purposes of the complaint against Mr. Lemire and I will not issue any remedial order against him (see Nova Scotia (Workers’ Compensation Board) v. Martin, 2003 SCC 54 at paras. 26-7).

Making New Year’s Resolutions is a ritual that I’ve never had much use for because the first of January is no more significant than the first day of any other month. Indulging the myth that a new year portends new beginnings invariably leads to disillusionment after the events and behaviours of the previous year show unexpected persistence.

This painful fact is particularly acute for many Canadians who yearn for a genuinely national government, but will be forced to endure yet another year of servility and imbecility from Israel’s proconsul Stephen Harper and his ruling clique of hasbaratchiks.

The problem is that Canada’s political spectrum, like that of the U.S., has shifted so far to the right that rational debate and informed opposition have become delegitimized. We used to speak of “right-wing” and “left-wing” to describe political differences, but in the absence of a political centre “right” and “left” have no meaning. “Left” and “leftist” have now become epithets used to stigmatize and delegitimize those who oppose extremist “right-wing” dogmata.

The “Overton Window” (see diagram below) indicates the range of ideas deemed acceptable in a society at any given time. Under normal, rational, circumstances, the window would oscillate between centre-left (L1) and centre-right (R1), thus clearly excluding the extremist/unacceptable range of ideas (L3–L4 and R3–R4).

However, under the influence of Israel’s fifth column in Ottawa, Canada’s window has shifted into the “unacceptable” R4 range. Under a steady propaganda barrage from hasbarats and hasbaratchiks, ideas once easily recognizable as unethical, un-Canadian, or downright criminal have acquired respectability. In turn, views opposed to the new extremism are now so far from view that they are all deemed unacceptable.

When, exactly, our political window shifted to the Christian/zionist lunatic fringe is debatable, though a case could be made that it occurred when Paul Martin became Liberal Party leader after the resignation of Prime Minister Jean Chrétien, the last real Canadian to hold that position.

Martin was, and is, an Isramerican sycophant, so immediately after he took over Irwin Cotler became Israel’s main man in cabinet; the “Liberal Parliamentarians for Israel” clique was formed; and Canada’s voting pattern at the UN became abjectly pro-Israeli. Harper is the Canadian “Likud” analog to the “Labour” Liberals, now led by Michael Ignatieff.

A state where the government politicizes acceptable discourse is, of course, a tyranny, and that is what R4 Canada is. Don’t believe me? Here’s what columnist Lawrence Martin had to say recently in the Globe and Mail about Harper’s hubris:

“It is said that a hallmark of democracy is the toleration of dissent. Best leave that one in the church pew. Exceptional measures need be used to crush the opposition. Stuff such as taking the unprecedented step of launching personal attack ads between election campaigns. Or trying to push through a measure that would effectively cut off financing to the opposition.

A heavy dose of demagoguery also can go a long way. Play on simple prejudices by accusing opponents of not supporting the troops or of being anti-Israel. If nothing’s working, if the going gets really tough, don’t hesitate to bring out the heavy timber. Just after Parliament has reopened, have it shut down.”

Given that Canada has already tilted to the extreme right, is there any hope of returning the country to the rational centre? Perhaps not all the way, but two recent events give reason to believe that the country can be pulled back, however slightly.

KAIROS
For the second time in a year, Jason Kenney, Harper’s Minion of Official Bigotry, used the “anti-Semitism” smear to justify cutting off federal funding to a non-zionist organization. Last March it was the Canadian Arab Federation, because Kenney objected to being called a “whore.” In December, Kenney denied a request for $7 million over four years from KAIROS, a Christian aid agency that promotes human rights, justice and peace, viable human development, and ecological justice.

During a speech at the Global Forum for Combating Anti-semitism (!) in Occupied Jerusalem, Kenney accused KAIROS of promoting anti-semitism, and taking a leading role in promoting the BDS (boycott/divestment/sanctions) campaign against Israel. The fact that the accusation was patently false didn’t matter. Consider his audience and where it was uttered.

That this attack was politically motivated malice also comes from Harper’s own Minion of International Cooperation Bev Oda, who essentially called Kenney a liar! She told KAIROS that funding was denied because “the group did not fit the government’s priorities of food security, helping youths and economic growth”—not a word about anti-Semitism.

The Dec. 18 Toronto Star editorial captured the overwhelming public and political revulsion at the attack on KAIROS: “Is everyone who disagrees with Prime Minister Stephen Harper a Taliban stooge, a raving anti-Semite or a loony-left extremist? You’d think so, to hear the shabby low blows Harper and his cabinet are forever aiming at any and all who dare to criticize federal policy…The Conservatives invite contempt with these endless, over-the-top smears. They discredit their party and its policies.”

PARLIAMENT
In his column, excerpted above, Lawrence Martin made reference to Harper’s decision to have Parliament shut down (prorogued) until after the Winter Olympic Games. This is the second time in just over a year that Harper has pulled this stunt. On Dec. 4, 2008, he called on the Governor-General to prorogue Parliament because he was afraid of being defeated by a coalition of opposition parties in the House of Commons. The coalition subsequently petered out.

This time, Harper is afraid to face questions about his government’s knowledge about the torture of Afghan detainees, and to exploit the closure to add five stooges to the Senate to overcome Liberal “opposition.”

As a result of this chicanery, 37 bills will not be passed and, most significantly, the committee investigating the detainee cover-up will be disbanded. Harper will not have to face Parliament again until March 3.

You know a government has gone beyond the pale of acceptable conduct when a daily newspaper, in this case the Globe and Mail, runs a front-page editorial to denounce it: “The Prime Minister is turning prorogation…into an underhanded manoeuvre to avoid being accountable to Parliament. In the interests of political expediency, the government will diminish the democratic rights of Canadians.”

It’s hard to imagine a greater insult to this country that a prime minister who is afraid of the law, unless it’s a prime minister who is an obvious lackey for a foreign government. In Harper’s case both are true.

The person to benefit most from Harper’s latest chicanery is Liberal leader Michael Ignatieff. He has denounced the suspension of Parliament as politically arrogant, and has promised to reinstate funding for KAIROS. If Harper wanted to sabotage his government’s chances of forming a majority government, to say nothing of being reelected, he could not have done a better job.

Until now, Ignatieff has been seen as Harper’s enabler, a weak leader who lacks the balls or party cohesion to force an election. Now, he can act like Captain Canada champion of democracy and scourge of the enemies of Parliament. Ironically, though, if an election were held tomorrow Canadians still could not elect a proper government: a choice between the Harperites and Ignatieff’s Liberals amounts to no choice at all, because Ignatieff learned the hard way that thinking for oneself amounts to political suicide.

If nothing else, getting rid of Harper would move Canada’s political window from R4 to R3. It’s a start.

Dear Radical Reader,

As 2009 comes to a close and we reflect on all that’s gone down over the past 12 months in the realm of resistance to the onslaught of Zionist intrusion into the lives of Canadians and people in general there’s a whole lot to be thankful for.

Over two years ago when Harry Abrams and B’nai Brith Canada laid their sec. 13 “hate crime” complaint against myself and my website RadicalPress.com I was virtually standing alone in challenging their attempt to use this Bolshevik-style piece of “human rights” legislation to stop Canadians from expressing their views and opinions on the domestic and foreign policies of the Israeli government.

And when I say standing virtually alone I don’t mean that I was the first person to resist their draconian, totalitarian tactics of smearing and forcing an individual to appear before quasi-judicial “show trial” tribunals. There were many courageous Canadians before me who had the foresight and vision to understand that our only means of defense was to fight the very legislation that the Zionist Jew lobbyists had embedded into our judiciary over the past half century.

But at the time (2007) the public perception of Israel as a racist, supremacist and apartheid state was not anywhere near what it is today as we stand upon the threshold of the second decade of the 21st Century. So much has happened over the past two years that I hesitate to even begin covering all the issues. Suffice it to say that the exceptionally cruel and devastating and evil attack upon Gaza during the Christmas season of 2008/09 was the ice-breaker in terms of sufficiently blowing the minds of people around the world as to the actual reality of what the Zionist state of Israel embodies.

That one event exposed the black claw of racism and supremacist ideology that lay hidden behind all the Zionist controlled media’s smoke screen of daily propaganda. It smashed forever what was a false and deceptive icon: the concept of the state of Israel as a democratic and free nation.

Now, as we begin 2010 the tables are quickly turning on the Big Lie but the Harper government of Canada is not about to give up its Zionist agenda easily. As Ulli Diemer’s article, Tactics of Desperation:Using false accusations of ‘anti-Semitism’ clearly shows they are deliberately working on new strategies to maintain control of our freedom of speech and this is part of the reason for Harper’s prorogation of parliament yesterday. They need the darkness and anonymity of silence to conspire together for the benefit of the Israeli state and the satanic ideals embodied in their ideologically false messiah known as political Zionism.

In my own struggles with the Canadian Human Rights Commission and the Canadian Human Rights Tribunal and B’nai Brith Canada over the past two years I’ve experienced first hand the level of deception and the corruption that permeates these government appointed bodies. They will stop at nothing to fulfill their agenda of censorship and ultimate control of the Internet because they know, as sure as they know the sun will rise tomorrow upon a new year, that if they aren’t successful in controlling the Internet and the Media and the Government then all hell will eventually break loose as more and more inquisitive and concerned individuals become aware of the true nature of Israel and the true agenda of political Zionism.

And this is why Ulli’s title, “Tactics of desperation” is a most fitting one. They are desperate to stop the increased expansion of information about Israel and Zionism that is exploding on the net and that is why they are resorting to such desperate moves as contained in their “hate crimes” legislation which they have been slyly foisting upon Canada and the USA and the EU nations and Australia and New Zealand, etc. over the past number of years. Short of shutting down the whole world wide web (now an impossibility without global repercussions to everyone) they are frantically searching for some balm to sooth the Achilles Heel that they can’t seem to prevent from exposing their true nature.

2010, I  hopefully predict, will continue to see more and more individuals and groups and organizations rising to their feet and declaring to the Harper government that their illicit love affair with Israel and Zionism must come to an abrupt end.

Enough of our young men and women have been sacrificed upon the blood-spattered Zionist altar of greed and war and lies and deception in Afghanistan. Enough of our citizens have been spied upon and hunted down and kidnapped and forced to endure torture and loss of their constitutional rights and ended up in foreign jails all due to the depraved and pathological machinations of this cabal of Zionist traitors who have breached the walls of our federal government and usurped the one power that belongs to all Canadians and not to the seditious tyrants who now lurk about our hallowed halls of parliament desperately trying to figure out new ways of forging more chains for Canada.

It’s my additional hope that Canada’s Jewish community will rise up further in 2010 and acknowledge the role that they must assume in bringing to the attention of all Canadians the ever-present threat to our collective freedom posed by the Harper government and its assorted band of sycophants. The Jewish community stands to lose the most if they don’t start setting aside their own fears and phobias and start to work in earnest with the non-Jewish sectors of Canadian society who also are determined to resist this growing threat to our nation. My own experience over the past two years in trying to liaise with Jewish orgs on the issue of Zionism tells me this will be one of the more challenging aspects of fighting the false accusation of “anti-Semitism.”

My New Year’s Resolution for 2010 will be the same as it was for 2008 and 2009: to do whatever is in my power to draw attention to the immediate danger to Canada posed by the Jewish media and lobby groups here in this country who are behaving in a most seditious manner in their quest to subvert our Constitution and Charter of Rights and Freedoms and substitute them for the law of the jungle, i.e. Zionism and Racist Supremacism and Hatred and War.

I also want to take this opportunity to thank those on my list (and off) who have helped me out financially over the past year. Without your contributions I would not have survived and been able to keep my website running and my articles appearing and my legal documents forthcoming. The goals of ANTI-ZIONIST CANADA are:

1. To document, expose and eliminate all forms of Zionist infiltration and influence in Canada with an emphasis on every level of Government, the Judiciary, the Mainstream Media, Academia, Corporations, Banking and Cultural Institutions.

2. To restore faith, honour and integrity in the Rule Of Law.

3. To liaise, support and assist allied individuals, groups and coalitions within Canada also involved in similar goals.

To foster and build a Canada-wide Peoples’ Network as an effective, independent watchdog to observe in a vigilant manner ‘public’ and ‘political’ party policies and programs to insure that the racist, supremacist Zionist agenda now being promulgated by federal pro-Zionist parties such as the Conservative Party of Canada and extremist Jewish Lobby groups within Canada such as B’nai Brith Canada, the Canadian Jewish Congress and the Simon Wiesenthal Centre is exposed, halted and eliminated from Canadian politics.

6. To expand and to share these goals with other nations globally who are also experiencing similar problems with Zionist infiltration and control of their governments and Institutions and Media.

7. To ensure that the Internet remains absolutely free in Canada for the use of every Canadian to express their opinions and beliefs.

A Mockery of Justice: The Great Sedition Trial of 1944

[Editor’s Note: While the focus of the article below is not primarily upon one of the greatest of American heroes in the battle for freedom of speech and the exposure of those within the US government who have turned the White House into a Zionist fortress for the exclusive execution of their one world government agenda nonetheless I would like to dedicate this article to Senator Joe McCarthy. He, of most Americans, suffered some of the worst vilification in US history at the hands of the Zionists and I would like to commemorate his courageous bravery in this small way.

This article is one of the best examples I have yet read that brings into focus and corroborates all I have written over the past few years regarding the very secretive and, yes, seditious machinations of the organization known as B’nai Brith International; one whose Canadian counterpart, the League for Human Rights of B’nai Brith Canada, is carrying on the longstanding traditions of the Anti Defamation League in the USA in slandering, vilifying and viciously persecuting via the court system, individuals such as myself who have been striving over the years to alert the Canadian public to the nefarious actions and motives of the World Zionist Organization and its deceptive, destructive ideology known as political Zionism.

There is no fundamental difference between the work that I have been doing and that of many of the principal characters contained in this article and the parallels between the treatment of my case with that of the protagonists in this, the Great Sedition Trial of 1944, are as uncanny as they are revealing and synchronous.

The fact that one of the more famous of the group falsely accused of “sedition” in that infamous “show trial” of 1944, Mrs. Elizabeth Dilling, is now still one of the main writers who Harry Abrams and the League for Human Rights of B’nai Brith Canada have listed in their sec. 13(1) “hate crimes” complaint made against myself and RadicalPress.com, is a striking illustration of just how deep, pervasive and virulent are the machinations of this supposed “service organization” in whose Preamble to their founding Constitution they once declared that B’nai Brith’s mission would be to “promote [the] highest interest” of those of “Jewish faith” and “those of humanity”; of “developing and elevating the mental and moral character of the people of our faith; of inculcating the purest principles of philanthropy, honour and patriotism”; “alleviating the wants of the poor and needy”; and “providing for, protecting and assisting the aged, the widow and orphan on the broadest principles of humanity.” Just how far they’ve strayed from this laudable position taken back on the 13th of October, 1843 is clearly revealed in the article below. A Mockery of Justice: The Great Sedition Trial of 1944

According to historian Harry Elmer Barnes who was one of FDR’s leading critics from the academic arena, the purpose of the Great Sedition Trial was to make the Roosevelt administration “seem opposed to fascism” when, in fact, the administration was pursuing totalitarian policies. Too few Americans today know of this travesty, a shameful blot on U.S. history.

Judges and lawyers alike will tell you the mass sedition trial of World War II will go down in legal history as one of the blackest marks on the record of American jurisprudence. In the legal world, none can recall a case where so many Americans were brought to trial for political persecution and were so arrogantly denied the rights granted [guaranteed—Ed.] an American citizen under the Constitution.”1

This is how the Chicago Tribune, then a voice for America First in a media world already brimming with internationalism, described the infamous war time “show trial” and its aftermath.

“The Great Sedition Trial” formally came to an unexpected halt on November 30, 1944, having been declared a mistrial upon the death of the presiding judge. Yet, the case continued to hang in limbo with Justice Department prosecutors angling for a retrial.

However, on November 22, 1946, Judge Bolitha Laws of the U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia, dismissed the charges against the defendants, saying that to allow the case to continue would be “a travesty on justice.”2

Although the Justice Department prosecutors appealed the dismissal, the U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia upheld Judge Laws’ ruling and, as a consequence, the saga of the Great Sedition Trial at long last came to a close. This brought to an end five years of harassment that the defendants had suffered, including—for some—periods of imprisonment.

Judge Laws had thus called a halt to this Soviet-style attack on American liberty. Sanity had prevailed and the case was shelved forever. The war was over and the one individual who was the prime mover behind the trial—Franklin D. Roosevelt—was dead.

According to historian Ronald Ra dosh, a self-styled “progressive” who has written somewhat sympathetically of the pre-World War II critics of the Roosevelt administration, “FDR had prodded Attorney General Francis Biddle for months, asking him when he would indict the seditionists.”3 Biddle himself later pointed out that FDR “was not much interested . . . in the constitutional right to criticize the government in wartime.”4

However, as we shall see, there were powerful forces at work behind the scenes prodding FDR. And they, more than FDR, played a major role in pushing the actual investigation Biddle was not enthusiastic to undertake.

Although there was a grand total of 42 people (and one newspaper) indicted—over the course of three separate indictments, beginning with the first indictment, which was handed down on July 21, 1942, the number of those who actually went on trial was 30, and several of them were severed from the trial as it proceeded.

Roosevelt’s biographer, James McGregor Burns, waggishly called the trial “a grand rally of all the fanatic Roosevelt haters.”5 But there’s much more to the story than that.

In fact, there were a handful of influential figures among the indictees. Among them included:

• Noted German-American poet, essayist and social critic, George Sylvester Viereck (a well-known foreign publicist for the German government as far back as World War I);

• Former American diplomat and economist Lawrence Dennis, an informal behind-the-scenes advisor to some of the more prominent congressional critics of the Roosevelt administration;

• Mrs. Elizabeth Dilling of Chicago, an outspoken and highly articulate author and lecturer who was well regarded and widely known nationally as a leader of the anti-communist movement and a fierce opponent of the ad ministration;

• Rev. Gerald Winrod of Kansas. With a national following and wide-ranging connections among Christian ministers and lay leaders throughout the country, Winrod had emerged as a force to be reckoned with. In 1938 he ran a strong race for the U.S. Senate. (One of Winrod’s protégés was none other than evangelist Billy Graham, who is said to have “learned much but kept quiet publicly about what he learned privately”6 as a young man traveling with Winrod.) And:

• William Griffin, a New York-based publisher with strong connections in the Roman Catholic Church. Many American Catholics were strongly anti-communist, and Irish-American Catholics, in particular, were generally skeptical of FDR’s war policies at a time when, it will be remembered, the government of Ireland remained neutral in the war being waged against Germany by the United States and England, Ireland’s traditional enemy.

However, most of those who finally went to trial were little known and hardly influential on a national level, other than the few exceptions just noted. Among the defendants were: a sign painter who was 80 percent deaf, a Detroit factory worker, a waiter and a maid.

In short, they were at best “average” Americans, without the means or the opportunity to be able to conduct the kind of seditious and internationally connected conspiracy that the government had charged, nor were they in any position to defend themselves against the unlimited resources of the central government. In many cases, the defendants were paupers, virtually penniless. Many of them were “one-man” publishers, reaching small audiences—hardly a threat to the mighty forces that controlled the New Deal. Several were very elderly. Few of the indictees even knew each other before the trial, despite the fact that the indictments charged them with being part of a grand conspiracy, orchestrated by Adolf Hitler, to undermine the morale of the American military during wartime.
